center field his fourth of the year and the Rockies jump out two to nothing Jack I don’t think elevation makes any difference with that swing right there he crushed that ball two out two nothing Rockies and now it’s Charlie Blackman left-handed hitting DH Blancos onew and that is hit sharply snared by on a scalding hop to his right he takes it the first and the side is retired Kyle Tucker batting cleanup for Houston will face Cal quantro this on the ground to M who play nice really hey could you pick it like that Vinnie Castilla pick it like a booger baby two out nobody on for Yer Diaz Yer hits the ball hard to left field that’ll be down for a hit the Astros have their first base runner of the afternoon in Mexico City it’s Jer Diaz so that’ll bring up Trey cabbage this will be his the Astros four Rockies two hter Goodman stands in struck out his first time swing and a miss went with the breaking ball off the plate away and Goodman is the seventh strike out victim of Blanco one out nobody on for Ezekiel Tovar swing and a miss got a fast ball by him upstairs at 96 that is three straight strikeouts for Rono Blanco eight for the game and there are two away 1-1 to count on Doyle and Brenton will pull it through the left side for a base hit hit number three for the Rockies keeps this fifth inning going as Brent Doyle continues his good April work that’s a six-game hitting streak now for Doyle so Doyle at second McMahon at first two outs the batter is Alias Diaz who flight out to Deep right in the first ground ball left side pass a dive of bregman and in a left field around third is Doyle he will score down to Second goes McMahon and it is 4 to3 Astros as Diaz picks up the RBI what are they saying here they’re calling the run runner out yeah the Astros are coming off the field right now bud black just indicated he wanted to challenge oh bregman steps on the bag oh did he miss Third Base he stumbled around third trying to catch his feet so this is being review and it was called out here in Mexico City oh I don’t know if you overturn that I don’t see anything definitive to you third base umpire was all over it too Bruce drekman a terrible break for the Rockies I believe he probably got the bag with his toe but there wasn’t Visual Evidence Tucker at second Peña at first nobody out Astros looking to add to their 4 to2 lead there’s a base hit to right to two just hit far enough to the left of Rogers and as he popped up trying to get that lead run just lost control of the baseball and everybody is safe with Peña at third Diaz at second duban at first to Bru 0 for two today looking for his first first hit with runners in scoring position this year ground ball towards the middle fielded there by Rogers steps on the bag and throws the first that’ll be a double play a run does score Colorado Rockies will take that tradeoff as they get two outs for a run it’s now a 6-2 game I think brenon Rogers to the plate this is going to drop into with two outs in the bottom of the six Ezekiel Tovar who’s one for three with a single he has struck out a couple of times swing and a mess got him on the breaking ball away Martinez gets his man and the Rockies leave him loaded Astros need to add on Yer Diaz who’s two for three couple of singles a run scored for Yer Yer punches one to right and it is down and through the legs of Goodman and going all the way to the wall circling the bases of Peña going to third is Yer Diaz RBI triple for the Astros Catcher And they lead this game 7-2 third hit for Yer today how about that a little excitement here in Mexico City so the infield still in for Jose Abu still see Yer Diaz huffing and puffing at third base after that triple there’s a base hit Jose Abu has a knock with a runner in scoring position and the Astros add to their lead it’s now 8 to2 as y crosses the plate we start the nth yordon Alvarez in the Box facing Tyler Kinley pitch by Kinley and Alvarez smokes this one deep to right center field back is Doyle looking up CER a two Homer game for yordon Alvarez his third hit tonight and the Astros lead is 9-2 so that is the 17th career multihomer game for yordon his second this year a Tucker at second Diaz at first for Mauricio duban how about duban he keeps hitting with runners in scoring position he’s going to drive in Tucker maybe more heading to third Diaz he’ll be held up there RBI double for duie and the Astros lead this game 10 to2 Bon at second after an RBI double Diaz is over at third Astros leading 10-2 Jose Abu stands in oh punt shot that’s going to go through for a base hit in comes Jer being held at third duban Jose Abu has his second straight RBI base hit and the Astros now lead 11-2 still only one out in the inning and it’s Chaz McCormack’s turn Chaz pops one up might be trouble back goes Rogers can’t find it everybody’s going to advance a base including duban who scores on the little bloop off the bat of Chaz McCormick for a 12-2 Astros lead Bray with second McCormick at first and Oh What A Catch by Montero run to the bag double play outstanding by elais to end the top of the night now one more hope for the Rockies to keep it alive with Charlie Blackman and he’s going to have himself a knock and an RBI as Doyle scores so it’s 12 to3 and Elis Montero he hasn’t been happy with his offense over for four with three popups this is through the left side a base hit Blackman around third Charlie is going to score standing up base hit for Montero and again a small constellation you’re down by a bunch still Dolan Jones stands in Chopper pñ gloves it on one big hop and that will do it the win the opener in the Mexico City series 12 to4
