stop it in a bid to improve my golf I’ve just taken delivery of a brand new simulator this is the only one in the UK and I can’t believe I’ve managed to get my hands on it introducing the brand new Golfson 2 Vision NX system and guys this is going to totally transform not only how I practice how I play but also how we make content for you guys so make sure you do hit that subscribe button below and I can’t wait to talk you through some of the upgrades we’ve had as you can see we have a brand new 32 in touchscreen display this thing looks absolutely phenomenal and we’ll kick things off in the my practice setting because this is where I want to hone my skills this is where I want to hit the ball further and of course hit the ball closer to the flag so without any further ado let’s get to the my practice section we’re also going to play golf here today we’ve got a top secret guest coming so he’s over there so he’s going to watch us practice first but he’s a scratch golfer and he’s going to see just how we can get on so without any further ado um I’m going to kick off with the driving range because the driving range here on the 2 Vision NX system is absolutely phenomenal and we also have a 64way movable plate so the last plate that we had moved like a dozen times this is a lot more and as you can see I’m going to kick things off just with a few mid irons because for me that’s where I’ve potentially potentially said it again Rob already been struggling quite a lot so as you can see we come over here we do have lots and lots of dynamics and we also have something really cool which I’m going to show you in just a second we have a motion plate so I can see exactly where my motion moves now I can practice here here I can go 30 yards 40 yards 50 yards in 10 yard increments all the way up to 200 so we’ll go 150 because I do have a nice little eight iron to work on and I can change lots of different factors i can change the wind the green speed the even the lie Bob so you know if I’m like if I’m practicing here and I go right I’m just going to hit some eight irons here to 150 into these new nice motion graphics and hit it really really nicely so I know that’s a 150 shot it’s an eight iron we’ve got the spin numbers we’ve got the head speed we’ve got ball speed we’ve got everything we need and I’ve hit it nicely i’ve hit the green at 145 it’s too easy so I’m going to practice and I’m going to change first of all we’ll put the pin location on the left and then also I’m going to have downhill so how hard does this now make it You can see just how difficult this now is so I’m actually on well I’m on the feel like I’m drunk actually but on the the move a little bit so this now it’s a really good representation of how a golf ball is going to come out from a different lie like this because we don’t play flat lies on the golf course straight away that ball’s come out lower it’s come out hotter but I tell you what Bob we’ve managed to hit the green once again there you can see that’s come out further because actually it’s dynamically delofted the A time so all these things when you practice are vitally important to see just how you can obviously get your golf ball coming out differently like we mentioned there are 64 different movable plates in this system to help us learn how to play golf differently like that so not only that we’ll put it back flat for now if I want to think about my divot pattern if I want to think about my swing path my club face even how my weight’s moving in the golf swing we can hit some shots oh that one’s gone left so how why is that one gone left What are we going to look at So we can not only see how the ball’s gone how good are them graphics by the way Bob
Miles better aren’t they We’ve got a new little projector up there so as we now work our way over to the screen this screen is absolutely massive as well you can see we jump on the menu we have a couple of different things we can look at so we can look at the videos from the sensor so we can look at strike impact forward shafting we can look at club face rotation over here we can even look at the strike location which I did describe as good so we know we’re ticking these off and we’re not just guessing i can then look at my swing balance and I can see exactly where the balance has gone so you can see if you’ve worked with pressure plates before if you’ve worked with Bob’s amazed by that you should see his face there
it’s unbelievable isn’t it So we can get that back i can do it nice and slowly as well and with the clear camera which is face on you don’t get this very often so you can actually start to really work on exactly where your pressure plates are i know that’s a little bit kind of too much in the toes there at an early point that might be why generally we’re wrapping it over so we can work on that work on lots of different things and I just think this could be a massive way to improve your game whilst enjoying yourself as well so for me this is going to be huge swing analysis lots of different things we also have a compilation so I can put two different swings together and compare them a good swing and a bad swing because we all we’ve all been there where you hit a couple of good shots and you go “Ah that was such a good one why can’t I repeat that?” So here you can and you can learn how to do it nicely so when it comes to obviously the driving area we do have lots of different things as well we can hit lots and lots of different shots on here as well and for me the thing that I like about it is the clarity of it all so you can really just start to think about what you need to work on envisage what you are working on and from here you can start to hit good drives and bad drives and really start to see why you’re not hitting it as far as maybe you’d want to and start to add that up so again we jump over on here and I know straight away it’s going to be a club path issue it’s been a club puff issue for far too long hasn’t it Bobby But as soon as the replay has gone we can again go on swing video we can look at what’s happening and we can also look at [Music] everything here so we know exactly everything we’ve got we know exactly what the club path is doing and I know what my feet are doing as well again so short game now short game is a really interesting one because there’s not many people I know that would practice short game inside but if you struggle to get outside in the winter or if you just don’t have a lot of time this could be an absolute game changer as well so we grab the wedge out and we can actually So come and look at this this is unbelievable anything within 30 yards just chuck yourself there it changes the lie so fairway to rough you can go in the rough you can go in a bunker and practice that as well and this is all stuff which you couldn’t do on the previous one but now with the bunker we can actually jump in are you Is it all right It’s changing the life for you there isn’t it
Look at the lie we’ve got in the bunker here like you tell me anywhere else you can do this you just can’t right and that feels as realistic as it’s going to feel on an indoor simulator to be fair so practice absolutely fantastic you can even do putting 80 different lies 80 different things you can do here but realistically should we ever put Rob with a lab How far 5T 10T 15 20 10T 10T rob’s being polite there with 10 ft and just gauging distance control really really handy for anyone who is wanting to work on anything like this really um we’ve got a guest in the studio and he’s anxious to get in so I’m going to grab him in a second and we’re going to see just you know what I need I need a club rack cuz I’m the most unorganized person in the world and indoor golf really shows that so end the driving range setting and I want to show you a few things on the actual playability of this because I enjoyed the last golf song the two vision i’m going to give this away i’m going to put his name in and I’m going to go James see how quick that screen is please select replay mode
and I’m not going to go straight to stroke play we could go tournament we could go scramble network play is something that I’m really keen to get involved in if any of you guys do have access to a golf simulator get in the comments below and let me know cuz I’d love to take on some subscribers on network play but some of the newer stuff you can do not only can you do a match or for some match you can do a par three challenge or even closest to the pin closest to the pin i could stand on a par three hitting shots all day in hope of making a one making a shot realistically but when we start to look at some of the holes we’ve got so I like to think about courses that I’ve played so Bay Hill were lucky enough to play a couple of times actually weren’t we

let’s just see who can fit closest in a couple of shots then we’re going to jump onto there’s a very special course which isn’t even a real course the beauty about this is there’s some real courses like your home course at Burdale but there’s also some kind of makebelieve courses which imagine if it was a real one that we’re going to play absolutely phenomenal um I’m going to let you go first

that’s an I think already so one of the big things to think about is the kind of zero latency that we have with this as well so as soon as Stu hit that shot the ball’s in motion it’s going you don’t kind of wait to see where it goes which some other simulators do struggle with i’ve got an eight iron but I’ve got a 2011 you know they So this is so up to today as well they’ve actually taken the bunker out cuz there was a bunker here last year and uh Mr saunders decided to make the hole a bit harder [Music] [Applause] ah you see we’ve even got the weight transfer up there as well am I biting off too more than I can chew with this It’s on the dance floor mate it’s on the dance floor

and we’ll start to play some actual golf because this is where the golf really comes into its own above from my opinion some of the other simulator companies out there we have the sloping lies we have the putting we have different lies as well such as rough and bunker but this like it’s a whole I know it’s a new system i know it’s an upgrade to what we had before it really does just feel absolutely fantastic so even with the national anthem going on in the background so we’ve done closest to the pin we’re not going to do par three challenge we’re not going to do for because there’s only Well there’s three of us Bob isn’t there Sorry there’s two people playing one person
but we’re going to go stroke play so
the course
stroke play again loads and loads of different courses you can choose from but we can either go new released so we can look at all the kind of new ones there are and I really want to bring back the series where we play these courses in real life and then play them here on the Two Vision NX and just see exactly what the big differences are because I think the differences are very very minimal to be honest tobacco Road right Are we going to Tobacco Road and then we’ll just play on here

that would be unbelievable um and we can also just look at kind of virtual courses as well so um these are more a bit of fun but we actually had loads of fun playing this one so we shall do that and we’ll jump to some of the harder holes and see if Scratch Golfer can take me down on my brand new simulator which I might sleep here to be honest we’ll get a takeaway I think instead right let’s go new experience stop it right um we are in Central Park the place Bobby loves we’ll put that on screen now won’t we Bob Um it is officially me now so I’m not going to steal your go um so we’re going to play the last few holes here and see how we can get on so looks like big dog on here that felt phenomenal what’s that It’s only a 300 car too there you go son my gosh

no love that oh just got on the fairway that’s a great effort now one of the things you can do here as well so say if you see a shot that you really enjoy you want to keep practicing you want to keep hitting it so say Stu wants to keep hitting this shot now we can put shot practice on so what that does is it just allows him to keep hitting the shot keep working on the shot obviously if you’re playing a game for money with your friends you’re not going to do this but practicing out on the golf course is often noed by green keepers but in here Stu we do it want don’t we

yeah I might want to keep this one it’s a great effort and what this does then it stores the information so you can see we’ve still got your shot tracer on screen from the first one and you can start playing around with trajectories how to hit it high how to hit it low how to hit a fade
draw and I think that is such good information to have about hitting different golf shots he’s hit an identical shot there but he said “Right I’m going to hit a low one instead of a high one.” So you can start to work on those trajectories and have feedback do you want to stay in practice or do you want to

There’s a lab putter there that’s still hot from a 10footer earlier on and I must admit guys so one of the big pluses about this new system is the graphics and everything that’s changed it looks fantastic it’s been a huge software upgrade and obviously having the projector upgrade as well really has brought this in line with I think anything in the on the market
absolutely and this is good so for people who are less experienced

we’ve got a nice LED light in front of the ball here that’s the line that we’re going to be basing our our kind of start line of our putt because we know that every putt we have we want to start on a a straight start line obviously and then allow for break and it’s the same here so you can see on the screen we’ve got a little a slight curve there that’s where it’s going to go so if I start on

match play will do right so par three 170 yards and actually we’ve just had to wait for the camera to cool down because um it’s like a million degrees outside and it’s even warmer in here but we’ve actually turned shot practice on and we’ve been hitting some absolute worldies just in practice so again there’s different times where that might come in useful and realistically you can start to just it doesn’t slow you down if something gets in the way so all the numbers up on there from that shot but we’ll now turn shot practice off this is
