Yeah. No, I um I apologize for the late Tib. I appreciate you sticking with me. I got a last minute invite to play beach volleyball um in Long Beach, so couldn’t say no to that. Um and I knew it could could work a little bit later on in the night. So, I appreciate you uh you sticking with me and everyone who’s uh who’s out past their bedtime. We we appreciate you over here at uh TIB Enterprises. Yeah. How was uh how was volleyball? What are you uh
Vball was fun. I’m solid. I was the worst player on my junior year team and then they asked me to be the manager senior year. So I’m, you know, I’m not the the greatest volleyball player in the world, but beach volleyball, two girls on every team. Like I’m a very solid player. Like not huge, but I could play well at the net, good setter, can dig well. Um, so I I was very happy with how I uh played tonight. We lost two games, so it it was a good it was a good time in Long Beach. Is it like a Is it like a beer league or it’s just pretty competitive? It’s not that competitive. I mean, there’s two girls have to be playing it every time. It’s not that crazy. We’re in like a I honestly like I’ve haven’t played in Long Beach in a while. I usually play with my buddies at the beach. Um but u we did well. We lost to Heartbreaker, but we won all the other games. So, I was I was happy with our uh performance tonight. So you were you were a good you were a good sub in so they’re happy with your choice but uh so for sure for sure
it’s worth missing uh I mean it’s worth me missing Love Island for you to play volleyball so that makes sense for sure. Okay, what is the deal with Love Island this year? I’ve never heard so many people talk about
a specific show in one season. Like it’s a social experiment. It’s not even like a reality TV show anymore. Um, it has everything you want in TV and Okay.
I would I would say that I was made to watch by my girlfriend, but it’s it’s almost the opposite at this point. It’s the best.
Yeah. No, there’s a lot of shows like that your girlfriend’s watching like, “What is this?” And then you can’t turn away. You can’t stop watching.
Yeah. Now, no, like I I even have some friends that don’t like reality TV. I wouldn’t expect to ever love Love Love Island and they’re like locked in every single week. But I think it’s a good intro um if you’re out with women like to know what’s going on in Love Island. Like I think I think it’s honestly like a solid in um you know they know you’re emotionally mature enough to uh to enjoy a show like Love Island. And if you needed to, you know, if you wanted to talk on the side, I can give you some like little nicks and stuff that you could bring up at the bar. We can we can coordinate that. Like I can’t believe Stephanie did that on episode five. Like stuff like that. Like I think that that works out.
Yes, they would they would conversation. Yeah. No. Well, I’m glad you’re uh you’re enjoying it. I don’t know if it’s going to make my radar. I think I’m in too deep. I just cannot believe how many episodes there are
every single week. Like
it’s stressful. It’s stressful. Like I, you know, we have dinner plans or something comes up, it’s like we’re going to fall behind and then like we might never catch up because of this. But
we have a good schedule. We’re strict with it.
Um we don’t fall behind. So it’s been good. I I’m looking forward to the rest of the season. Yeah. No, I’m I’m glad. But we’ll have to uh to keep in touch on the ongoings of of Love Island um week to week. So, you know, not many people know, you know, people might have memorized the guest from last year’s John Deere Classic, but is there any specific reason why you are the John Deere Classic guy? Um why you texted me, you know, two weeks ago, three weeks ago, am I still on for JDC? Like, what what’s the backstory of DVO being the JDC guy? I mean, I’m just I just know the field. I know the board. Um, I’ve hit it two of the last three years. Um, lucky.
Yeah, same. So, you might be a JDC guy because I don’t know when you’ve hit two of the last three tournaments. But, uh,
uh, yeah, just kind of made it my thing. And I mean, I was a little nervous when I texted you and was like, “Hey, you know what? We haven’t talked in a bit. Like, am I coming on?” Um, but I knew you I knew you slotted me in. So, no, excited to be here. Um, you know, I haven’t I’ve taken some time, work’s been busy, stuff’s been busy busy from like really diving into the board. So, it felt felt good to get back into it and really, you know, look at the numbers and make sure I was 7x and just go through it and I’m so excited to talk about it and um, yeah, thanks.
Yeah, it’s almost, you know, better to, you know, devote all of your attention,
everything into one or a couple events versus spraying the board every single week. Like, you know, there are some places you just tell people at, like you tell DVO, um, you know, at JDC, you tell jurors at Honda, um, maybe tell me at the Open or the JDC. Um, so there’s just certain spots where you tell, uh, Adam when he he bets Tommy Fleetwood. Um, so, you know, there’s just certain things that, you know, work out and, uh, I’m glad you’re able to come on. So, I’m a bit mistaken because I remember last year you thought the JDC was like the week before or something like you were you were wrong on the week. Usually it falls on July 4th weekend.
Yes. No, I mean usually I’m celebrating at the shore.

I took it on Sunday, but so last year was like a little odd. I felt like my schedule was off.
No, I think last year it was on fourth. year before it was.
Yeah, there was some mixup one of the years and I was like just a little flustered. But same thing this year. It’s it’s right before.
Yeah. Or I guess it’s on it’s the it’s for sure
back to normal.
Yeah. No, there’s nothing better. July 4th weekend down at the shore down in Long Beach sweating the John Deere Classic. Like everyone’s watching it at the bars. Um like it it’s a massive massive week. Honestly, I you know, the odds board is is is what it is, but I feel like you got to take what you give to a certain extent with the JDC odds board. Like, it’s not going to be great. You’re going to have to bet some people at odds, you know, you might not want to, but that’s kind of where the the gold is sometimes. That’s where the gold is sometimes is just holding your nose and betting somebody at a crazy number. some of these numbers. I was like I doing double takes all morning. I just was so confused on how Pearson Cody is 40 to1.
Yeah.
Like I just don’t understand that. But we’ll get into it. But yeah, no, I mean
like look, they got the real balln knowers um like myself really thrive at these weeks. We can find some some low lowown DFS plays and really slot them in. So uh some of these weeks the most profitable for sure. I mean, no one could forget your 2022 John Deere Classic DFS lineup. I mean, it was it was one of the greatest of all time. Maybe one like 60 bucks off it, but off Friday, I mean, it it was it was a special lineup.
Yeah, the Parker House was fun with the T5 Godup ticket.
Are you Are you ripping Are you ripping the shore this year? I know you’re kind of all over. I’m pretty sure you live in the city. I’m not positive.
This summer I’m in New York. Um, unfortunately or fortunately, I have a wedding this weekend, which is like should be illegal to have a wedding on the July, but I’m doing the shore the next weekend.
So, yeah.
Are you are you bringing the misses or what?
Yes. Yeah, she’s she’s coming along to both the shore and the wedding. Nice.
So, yeah, we’ll we’ll see. Hopefully, we have a some cash in hand.
For sure. We will. I feel pretty conf I don’t, but we can feel confident in the John Deere. Uh, I classic week.
So, the Rocket Mortgage Classic, I’m never calling it the Rocket Classic. I’m just I I’ve never I need a couple years to to kind of go off that. Did you watch Sunday? What What were your overall impressions from Detroit? Well, honestly, I was the main focus of my watch was hoping you got Graser home. Yeah. Um because I just I felt like you would have had this renewed energy coming on to the pod big outright heading into one of your biggest weeks of the year too.
Yeah.
Um I mean I’m happy for for Pot like I think
seeing him at uh where was it? Mexico.
Yeah. Where with the playoff with Campbell like it sucks to get that close and then just have such a bad such a bad break and then it’s like it’s going to happen again. They were they was that his dad they were showing like
Yeah. His dad that looks like Brooks Capka. Yeah.
Or like a guy that like firmly supports the apartheid.
Yeah. Yeah. And it’s like the scary guys in the corner of the camera and it’s like it’s all going to happen again. But no, I’m happy for him. Um the finish the playoffs were it was kind of like a pillow fest. Um
and you know again I was pulling for
pulling for you. But it was uh it was a good finish and again seeing him get through was was kind of cool. He’s talented. He’s good. He he has modern.
Um, so I’m excited to see how he develops and I would love to see him
hopefully in the next few years get in the mix at a major, but we’ll see.

Yeah. Yeah, that would be that would be cool. What What were your thoughts?
Yeah. No, I mean he he’s a special talent and I think that, you know, everyone has to remember he’s 20 years old. Like it’s very very uncommon um to win on the PJ tour that young. Only a select few of people have done it and they’ve all been really great. um other than like Dunlap and and Tom Kim. So I I don’t want to put out a prediction true no beats to pops, but sometimes we see these super young guys rattle off a couple wins and then they fall off the face of the earth. Yeah. So like like Dunlap, I mean is truly a mess right now. Um Tom Kim is truly a mess right now. So I hope Pots can can kind of buck the trend and play well. Uh but yeah, no, I mean he, you know, was someone I was scared of early as soon as he started playing well because, you know, he obviously has some, you know, deficiencies with the short game, but that’s something where, you know, I think it’s easier to fix and he obviously knew it was a massive problem and it was a great course for him because, you know, all the stats pre-week kind of point to around the green not mattering as much at um Detroit Country Club. So, you know, bomb it wherever and you know, you’ll have a bunch of 40, 50 yard shots in. He has niner to every par five. It’s like, no, like it was a great spot and he honestly has been priced accordingly all year. I mean, he has been in kind of that 100 range. He’s missed a bunch of cuts, but he was at a very very bettable um number this week. So, cheers to everybody who was was on pots. It was a great bet. Well, the thing that differentiates him from like I mean Dunlap’s obviously he was very talented obviously going through a bad run. He
because of his girlfriend which I predicted
because of his girlfriend which you invented. But uh
Pots is going to be live three times a year every year
for sure.
It’s like almost like Cam Champ on steroids. Like he’s gonna be
we’re gonna look at him. And so these other guys like they don’t have that one insanely good skill set that like we would consider them even if they’ve missed eight cuts in a row and and you know Pototts has that. So we’ll see. I mean it’s going to be interesting to see. We love a little a young stud get in getting his first win. So you know pretty pumped.
Yeah. No Grays, you know, he played decently well all week. I mean, he putted really well, but he missed a couple makeables, which, you know, at the end of the day, you’re just going to have to make those um to go out and win. He’s not someone, you know, I don’t think he there’s any reason to firmly trust him in the mix. I never felt like, oh, you know, Grace gets in the mix like he’s got this, you know, kind of handled. I mean, he he’s had a couple, you know, I mean, he was minus probably 4,000 at uh Windham and didn’t win. I mean, whenever that stuff happens, it’s hard to really trust him. Again, he’s a guy you get him on a driver putter course, like he’s going to play really solid. He’s a really great player. Um, you know, I think, you know, he’s a solid, you know, make the playoffs, you know, mix a couple times a year. You know, everyone’s going to chase his win for a little bit. I honestly, you know, me, every single Sunday I’m in my couch watching TV. I mean, watching golf, like I never miss Sundays, but my brother had his 30th in Brooklyn and I was like, we’re just gonna go. And driving in, I’m like, you know what?
I need to change the mojo. Like, I’m just not going to watch. I’m barely going to talk. Like, like I was like, whatever. Like, if it happens, it happens. Like, I’m not going to like be super upset about it. And I know Pots made like a bogey on two and then like I saw Grace had like three feet for bird. I’m like, all right, sick. Chuck it. I’m like, he what? He miss like
you put your phone away.

that was a And then I was kind of like tracking. I was like texting my friends and then I was like once he had 11 feet to win the tournament on 18, I was like, “Okay, let’s lock in. Let’s channel good vibes. Miss I’m like all right, fine.” Like we have a good chance in the playoff. Um and then after the first playoff hole, legitimately turned off my message notifications and just said, “If it happens, it happens.” Like whatever. like true was just like
what did he find now?
Um well I knew that he had like 11 I know he had like 11. I’m glad I didn’t watch that part three because over the green chip
and Grace had a like I didn’t really see that happen. I knew he was far away. I’m like
I’m glad but I never got my hopes up. And honestly like it wasn’t really that like bad of a beat. Like I think of bad beats as like you have to get like to pretty low odds like like you have to be like minus 300 or better to like really be upset. Um so it is what it is. I I hedged on pots. I’m not super um upset um by any means. Like it obviously it has been a tough year. Yeah. I was gonna say where’s your head at? Where’s like where’s that independence?
I truly like last year was unbelievable. Like last summer was like insane. Like I wanted absolute boatload of money and it was great.
And like I feel bad for not that there’s many, but I feel bad for the people that DM me like, “Yo, like we got grays this week.” I’m like, “Bro, why are you telling me? like why are you still there’s a couple loyal people out there that just straight up tell me every week and I’ve lost every single week this season. I’m like bro like what what are we doing? Um but I I I don’t get that um at all. No, I mean at the end of the day,
you know, I have a good job. I have no expenses. Like I I can lose the money. Like it’s okay. Um we’re we’re looking to buy a condo. Um we’re get we’re approved to to get a condo or a house. Um That’s we’re switching around. I I if I have enough money to to get a condo like I I’ll be okay losing. Yeah. Um everyone like it it’s And also like no one car like no one like talks [ __ ] to me like on Twitter like bro like you haven’t had an app right in like forever. So like
I’m in a good spot in that sense of being like a Twitter tout, but I I’ve never been taken myself too seriously and um you know it is what it is. I I would love to to hit a winner, but it it just is what it is.

I mean, I don’t have like a ton like I have some guys I’m swimming around, but I’m not like locked in on a card early. Like, I’m kind of waiting a little bit um during the week. Not a ton of golf news this week, but you know, I’ I’ve seen, you know, some, you know, rumblings on Twitter. I knew it was going to come about Pere Beth Paige. Um, where are you at on Pere Reed Beth Paige? We don’t need to do a whole REDR cup thing, but where are you at on Pere Reed making the team?
So, I’m a big Pere Reed guy. I’ve been since the beginning, my Twitter header is the Pere the, you know, like I like Patrick Reed. I think at this point for the guys left that we’re picking between, we just have to literally pick the best golfer who’s be playing the best.

In the world. I don’t think I like personally don’t think the whole live PJ tour dynamic should have any factor at this point like we’re coming home to Beth Paige we need to win.

is he gonna take him like Patrick Pedover himself like I think that’s a different conversation but like we have to look at it you know maybe he rattles up one or two more or he has some good finishes then I I don’t think like we should look because it’s Patrick Reed on the lip tour we shouldn’t play him.
Um and I also think like a rowdy crowd at Beth Paige with Patrick Reed like I I don’t think that hurts us.
No. No. Yeah. I I think I will before he won on Liv, I don’t think he was in the conversation. Now, sure. He’s he’s in the conversation for the final couple spots. Will he get picked? In my opinion, absolutely not. I think there’s a very small chance that Keegan Bradley picks Patrick Reed to be on this Rder Cup team. Yeah. Now, I think that has to do a lot with what happened with him in 2018 in Paris and his team dynamic there and [ __ ] all over the captain and [ __ ] all over Tiger and his beef with Jordan. And I I think that’s kind of fresh in a lot of people’s minds. Yes, he was great in 2016, nine years ago. Yes, he was great in 2014, um 11 years ago. Like, that’s great. like is are we gonna pick him? Like I really think there’s a very small chance um that that
he would need another he would need another one
like right before but but I do feel like that team is a little bit removed from the 2018 team like there’s like Keegan wasn’t involved like JT um was on it like not like Bryson was on it but I I just don’t think team dynamicwise um that they’re going to pick him. I’m not saying that’s a right or wrong decision. I just I don’t know if it it’s really needed. you’re kind of throwing a wild card into a room where you need everyone to be super cohesive and you don’t want any problems and I don’t think there are any problems and whatever if you know people on Twitter saying he absolutely should be a pick or you hate Liv if like it has nothing to do with Liv like it it like no he has a lot of baggage that kind of comes with him and it it’s kind of a big question mark um going into Beth Page
his current form and his skill don’t warrant the the negatives that it could bring. So, I think I Yeah, I think I agree with you on that. Where is your You may have said this before, but and you can make it quick. Where’s your head with Keegan playing?
Just absolutely should. Like, I think you put him out in two shot matches and have him play Sunday singles. He’s done a lot of the planning. Um he’s absolutely one of the 12 best players. the energy and momentum that he would bring on the team having a playing captain for the first time since Palmer in like 63 like that would just be unbelievable stuff and I think that he can play two all chop matches and then go out for some singles like he has a bunch of assistant captains like they can figure it out. Um, like I I really think that um that would be the best course of action. You know, if we had a bunch, you know, if if you know, Fina was playing amazing and Clark was playing amazing and Homo was playing amazing. It’s like, all right, like maybe not, but it it seems like they need him.
Yeah. No, I agree. Um I was a little skeptical at first, like before Travy, everyone was kind of saying like, oh, like if he if he has a good finish or if he wins. Uh but he’s objectively like so much better than some of the guys that we would take over him that it’s like all right.
Yeah. And I will I said it on last week’s spot. You got to keep an eye out for it. A random American always wins like two majors when it’s RDER cut year. So, I might, you know, tailor my card at the open around like, you know, guys like Mav and P Reed, like guys that probably won’t make the team, but if they win a major, they’re just like a lock because of the point system. So, that’s something to look out for. Um, you know, come open time at Port Rush. I’m excited for Port Rush. Should be a pretty good uh major. After I went out to the bars, I watched the open film. I, you know, I thought it was it was pretty interesting. I do have an early lean for the Open. If you want to hear it,

Really good Southeast Glover, too. He’s he’s a Southeast guy as well. So, something to maybe target um a little bit, but this week, you know, I think it’s lends itself to a bit more accurate guys off the tea. You know, a lot of that 150 175 approach range. Got to have a good putter. Tougher around the greens. These green complexes are like the [ __ ] I mean, these are some complex green. Um, so you gotta you have have to have your way on the greens and shipping. Um, and um, I know that the winners have done really well around the green. Like that’s been kind of Fox 175 right now. I’m betting it. I I thought when I looked on one site, it was like 50. Yeah, that’s a nuke.

Honestly, I’m more I’m just looking at like like can you shoot a 62? Can you shoot a 63? Do you have good wedge play? And do you hit fairways? Like yeah, I honestly think it’s just a putting.
It’s just wedges, putting fairways. Um I think you do need it around the green, but I feel like you hit so many fairways, you have so many wedges in, like you’re not missing as much. Um, I just want to like look at your name and be like, can you make eight birdies in a round? Because like if you look at the past four winners, they’ve all had like a 62 or 63, like one or two of the rounds. Um, you know, they’re always gaining two plus approach and putting like it’s just kind of what you you need to get hot. Um, so I just
I need some history with like you consistent putting and like good putting.
Yeah. and being able to get eight eight to 10 birdies in one of the rounds or whatever it is. Um yeah, I mean it’s don’t overthink it. You don’t need that much coach history. You just have to

Yeah, I’m interested in Kirky. I’m interested in Kirky. Um because usually I don’t like guys off a runner up. I I like I don’t like guys off a heartbreaking loss. I don’t um and I pretty sure No, I think that may be another trend, but usually guys don’t lose in a playoff and win the next week, but it’s piqued my interest. I’m I’m thinking about it to a certain extent. The thing about the JDC is I feel like people take second before and they’re like, “Okay, now I’m going to the John Deere Classic with a bunch of mucks and like, okay, if I play kind of the same way, I’ll probably win
and I’ll get my win for the next two years.” And so I think it honestly makes sense and I Yeah,
I saw with I love Kirk this week.
