[Music] heat up here [Music] [Applause] [Music] Hello and welcome to the ladies European tour into the heart of Europe Czecha We’re just outside one of the most beautiful cities in the world Prague for the tip sport check ladies open For the sixth year running Raw Baroon Golf Club plays host a pass 72 nestled in the forest and hills 30 minutes outside the capital city Played over three rounds over the less fur design layout which has 70 bunkers and four lakes in favorable conditions It’s highly scorable Sarah Kuska the home favorite and we caught up with the Czech star who’s won in her last two le starts It’s obviously uh a great joy to be in this spot and I think great for our team as well my family because I think we worked really hard for it for a good number of years So I’m really happy I had a little break after Evian because there was no tournaments in between So yeah I it was it was nice to celebrate a little bit I think I’m trying not to think about the pressure uh because it’s something that’s probably not going to help me during the tournament So I’ll try to take it as it goes and uh concentrate on things that I can control and see where it will bring us I worked on some of the mental sides uh before the last rounds and uh I wanted to be ready for the moment and make it count and it did So we were happy My family I’m sure they’ll be running around somewhere and some of my closest friends So I’m really happy to to play at home because it’s one of the most special weeks during the year Every year I think it’s a little more u people coming to watch and it’s so great to see it and I hope it will be more this year too [Music] The weather was hot and calm with the breeze strengthening in the afternoon and the crowds were out in force to see Kuska playing the back n first She got off to a slow start but things began to shift at the par 317th a lovely part to move back to the middle of the day Cheers from the galleries In the end she would sign for a round of 70 Darcy Harry entered the week hot of her win in Belgium The Welsh rookie really catching the eye there with a flat stick and she was at it again in Prague Boyfriend and Dy World Tour player Jakob Scott Olison once again on the bag as the duo racked up six birdies two bogeies in a round of four under Kiara still feeling her way back into form after missing much of the last 12 months with a shoulder injury After struggling last week in Belgium there were more than promising signs the talented team is refining her touch An opening 67 left her in a tie for fifth A rookie in the running Esme Hamilton The English woman made her first le cut last week in Belgium and the confidence is clearly flowing A bogey free 66 and in a tie for fourth The Annabella another surprise name going well The English woman teeing it up in just her fifth le event A 65 unsurprisingly the best of her le career and into a share of second Out ahead amundep dr The Indian has struggled for playing time this season due to issues getting a visa but paperwork in place She showed we’ve been missing nine birdies in an opening round of eight under On her 36th birthday Florentina Parker joined Batty in second Good starts too for Alexandra Swain and Luna Sbronz but DL leading by one
I just wanted to putt well on the greens I didn’t want to struggle on the greens like last week So I was I’m striking it all right but it’s just on the green So I just focused on the greens and the score just automatically came in A repeat of the weather on day two Another good day to make the score Sarah Kuska went on a charge bogey free and some five birdies on the card to move up the field Seven under overall but in a three-day tournament still a big mountain to climb The pre-ournament favorite six shots off the lead here Babnik has yet to drop a shot in her opening two rounds The 21-year-old showing the consistency that took her to two LT titles while still a teenager The Irions working nicely here in Prague Rounds of 68 and 67 left the Slovenian nine under overall Remember the name Anna Juan The rookie just 16 but age clearly no barrier to the Canadian 220 finishes on tour Qualification for the US Women’s Open and in a round of 65 in her first visit to Prague 10 under she’s in a share of third It’s been an inconsistent season for Nuria Turios four-time le champion with two top five finishes but well down the field in her other outings This then turning into one of her good weeks A monster there at six helped her to her day two 66 10 under three shots back Luna Galves completed the trio in third Two successive rounds of 67 from the Spaniard who’s in good form of late Two top 10s in her last four outings yet to win on tour Could this be the week any thoughts of Esme Hamilton dropping back were firmly put to bed on day two as she produced the shot of the day How about this at the par 515 Third shot a couple of bounces and in the cup She played it impressively cool with the celebrations A round of 66 for the second day running and she was just a shot off the lead That was held by Kim Metro The Swiss is often in the shade of her sister Morgan a two-time winner but it’s shaping up for Kim to have the bragging rights this week A career best and a course record equaling 63 All with husband Rulf on the bag From four shots back she enters the final day 13 under and with a one-shot lead Ahmed Dropped back with a level pass 72 So all change at the top Metro in front but 22 players within five shots of the lead
Kind of even lost track of what my score was I didn’t even know what I was putting for on the last Um just know I was kind of low So um yeah really loved it and hopefully I can do those kind of days again Stay with us to see if Metro could keep rolling or if the Chasing Pack could deny the Swiss We’ll see you after the break [Music] [Music] Hello and welcome back to Prague and to Raw Baroon Golf Club for the final round of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open where Kim Metro holds a narrow lead heading into the final day The Swiss after her first title As with the other two in the final group Esme Hamilton and Luna Sabbron Galves so congested at the top and on a golf course offering up plenty of birdies really a hard one to call One thing for sure level par would not be enough that the trophy up for grabs 28° a light win close to perfection Let’s catch up with the early action Well Kim Metro got off to just the start she would have wanted She picked up her first birdie the day at the third to go to 14 under Same partner Esme Hamilton birdied the first but bogei the third but back on track thanks to this wonderful four approach at the seventh The English woman with a brilliant eagle at the par five 12 eagles in the final round at that seventh and Luna Sabbron who had part her opening six holes also joined the Eagle Club there to get her to 12 under [Music] Darcy Harry another who got her round up and running at the seventh and she followed it up with a birdie at the 82 She was 12 under Cassandra Alexander taking the course a part the South African with four birdies and an eagle in her first 12 holes to get amongst the leaders But out ahead was Metro Another birdie at nine She was now 15 under Good enough for a one-shot lead Alexander with just four holes to play and rookie Hamilton tucked in just a stroke behind I’m Richard Coffman alongside four times Soulheim Cup player Mickey Walker And Mickey think we’re in for a tight finish here I think you’re right about that Richard I mean the golf is sensational and that start by Cassandra Alexander just incredible Luna Spong Gamma on the 10th her second and she set up another birdie opportunity here Ended the front nine really nicely off the back of a third top 10 of the season last week in Belgium for the Spanish player 265 yds in up the hill for Cassandra Alexander Three wood in hand the last four holes talking to this one What a shot Incredible This really is fabulous stuff by the South African and she looks like she’s up for it She’s not letting off at all She enjoyed that one I think she let Charlie know who’s been on her bag now for six years now Metro chance here at 10 for the lefty Needs to hurry Led by five going into the last day of the Dutch Ladies Open last season Couldn’t get it done on the last day Hopefully would have learned from that Husband Rulf on the back They went Italian last night in Prague in terms of the restaurant
Well here’s the local favorite and the inform player coming into this tournament Well done And you can hear the support and so she should have back-to- back wins in her previous two tournaments that she’s played in Backto back wins and now backto back birdies She’s 12 under five under for the day This our sixth successive year at Raw Baroon First time though for Emei Hamilton She’s been impressive hasn’t she she hasn’t been in this situation before It’s only her fifth tournament on the le She won her first check last week in Brussels Well the winning score in the six years here has been between 13 and 17 under par This for Cassandra Alexander to get to 15 under Well she gave it a good try It wasn’t going to be short for sure
So it’s just a birdie She was 94th after round one when she shot 73 Now this for another birdie for Gamma Oo it just caught enough of the left edge So she gets another underpar going along very nicely Yeah to win on the ladies European tour Neither is Alexander This surely a birdie to get within one at 14 under Her fifth birdie of the day to go with the eagle at seven Only came here this week because of the lure of Evian This is the final qualifying event from the order of merit and she’s in position to get into that major First par three on the back nine the 11th in the Sabbron Gomez her shot face 20 yards downhill this par three That was right at it Needed a bit more but it’s another opportunity for a birdie coming up Well she’s not had much time to let the dust settle on her win last week at the Hull and Court Women’s Open but kind of picking up where she left off Mickey Yes You wondered how she’d react to that victory last week And uh as you say more of the same
Yeah All pars since she finished the front nine Eagle birdie birdie Another lovely shot into 16 Now this is the 22-year-old Czech amateur Sanjan Just finished her second year at the University of Houston Started the day at seven under And as you can see Natalie now 11 under par There’s me Hamilton at the back of the 11th chipping back Coming up a slight rise in the green though She needed to give that a little bit more So she’s got work left to do to save her par here for a share of the lead for Cassandra Alexander suddenly in his share of the lead What was it 94th after day one
Incredible I mean almost right at the bottom of the pack after the first round but what a comeback
Think she needs a couple more to be sure she’s in with a chance already Here we are at the par 311 The Kim Metro who now has company Great attempt Her sister made the cut at the KPMG Women’s PGA this week She’ll be coming to play the next few weeks on the LE Love to be joining her sister as a ladies European tour winner What’s Kuska doing over here well we we got a a look at how her ball was lying and that deserved the cheers She would have got them anyway as a home favorite but that really was a good shot
Well there’s going to be no Ellie T hat-tick but uh still been a fabulous week for Kuska Another opportunity for the Spaniard Oh that was so close
Yeah just a par which means it’s six threes in a row on the car for Luna Subbron Galves but that run includes an eagle and two birdies It’s surprising that she hasn’t won really She’s been a top player top ball striker for a long time can’t afford to drop shots especially when birdies in Baroon is certainly the name of the game It’s a crucial pat for Hamilton Well done There’s no indication that this is the first time she’s been in this position She’s really equipping herself well Well we had a Czech amateur win this event a few years ago Jana Melova back in 2022 Natalie Sanjgeran certainly performing well Another fantastic iron shot by the Czech player
Do you think they call her Paris as a nickname must do back at the University of Houston I suppose the good news for Metro she’s got holes on her side when if you if you think it’s a battle between her and Alexander Yes And and we know this back n there’s plenty of birdies and eagle opportunities but she needs to start hitting some good shots in She made a good par save there Now back to Sanain Well done She was 14th last week in the Access Series event that was played in Czecha She’s 12 under now She might better that finish Oh can she finish with a moment of glory after that fabulous recovery shot oh she was trying to will it in The crowd were trying to will it in but it’s just going to be a par for the the home favorite Yeah it’s going to be a closing bogey 367 And a top three finish would have actually taken her to the top of the order of merit But a wonderful reception for a twotime winner but it could be a first time champion at the Tip Sport Czech Ladies Open Of the top seven just Darcy Harry with a win behind her That was last week Alexander charging alongside Metro at the top [Music] [Music] Welcome back to the tip sport check ladies open where a weekend charge has taken Canisandra Alexander alongside overnight leader Kim Metro at the top The South African only a few weeks back from an anterior crucet ligament injury Plenty of others still in with a chance too Kim Metro has missed this 12th green and this is lightning fast coming down here She’ll have trouble stopping it by the pin I can see it gathering speed there Just about stayed on the green Would you say we’re at the toughest part of the course here 11 12 13
Yes I think you’re right Richard And then you’ve got those two par fives So opportunities later on Well here is one of them 176 yds Seven iron in for Cassandra Alexander who got very fortunate with a T-shot Just avoided the trouble Well that was a towering shot wasn’t it right at it Just going through the green I mean she was really watching that down Hamilton hasn’t really hold much this weekend even though she shot 66 yesterday I think this is one of the trickier greens on the course of 12th Yeah that was a double breaker It started broke left and then right Tap in for a par though Yeah just one birdie one eagle on the card Still very much in it Crucial part this for Kim Metro Not a day you can afford dropped shots That happens so often when you race a putt past and then you don’t hit the next one firmly enough
Well that leads Cassandra Alexander leading the South African at the 18th She’s debated between chipping and putting this She’s gone with the chip Yes Unbelievable Alexander the Great big time What a finish to an amazing weekend of golf [Applause] Just incredible Just wonderful by the South African Second Eagle of the Round A course record 62 The clubhouse lead at 17 under She probably doesn’t know it but she’s three shots clear suddenly thanks to this Mickey Well it’s a pretty straightforward chip but you don’t expect to hold it every day especially not in this situation And she’s concerned Is it going to get there is it going to get there yes

Well we don’t know if she is going to win it but if she does that is some way to get your first tour victory Well after being one over par after the opening round
Well there’s the target now Mickey 17 under You can see what awaits you if you do stray from the fairways It what a fantastic shot that was
Just one under for the day I mean Cassandra Alexander was out nine groups from the end So she’s got at least an hour hour and a half to wait for everyone to finish Well this is awkward isn’t it the ball below her feet You can see how much she’s having to bend her knees to lower herself down to the right level Oh she made very good contact Two good in fact Wonderful second in As you said Mickey Turios hopefully get her back to 12 under just snuck in Chance for a third top five of the season She likes to set Yeah of course they’ve worked that one out haven’t they we see you Nuria Now she needs to get something going Her round’s been a little bit flat today It was an amazing 63 yesterday Sundays though can be very different to Saturdays as straight on line but not enough pace First look at Laura Funuk second week back after the big wedding with Rosie Davis 141 yds downhill left flag She’s found it
That was a good iron shot wasn’t it perfect distance She’s having to work hard isn’t she to keep making passes as me Hamilton And every chance she will again but she’s still going to have to work for that Yeah it was really quick from over there Landed on the fringe but still couldn’t get it to finish short of the flag Got to hang tough Really can’t afford to drop shots at this stage Not given what Cassandra Alexander has posted That amazing 62 Well I’m not sure that this final group will know what’s happening and what Cassandra has uh done There’s not many scoreboards on the golf course
No they need a spark somewhere This final three ball All three players now three back of Alexander It’s just not happening for Metro on the greens today is it she’s made hardly anything Certainly not on the back nine Well no bird is yet on this back nine Time not yet out but it’s starting to get to that position There’s a husband I’m sure some soothing words from Rolf says he’s a calming influence And here’s someone else who hasn’t yet won on tour but uh is likely to Laura Fuk and having a good round today She moves into that big tire chasing pack at 14 under Very smart looking scorecard that one from the German Now we saw the chip Can she convert it for a par it was a bit timid wasn’t it it wasn’t struck with authority And that’s going to be a drop shot for Esme Hamilton Catch up again with Natalie Sanain Her second start in this event She played two years ago missed the cut But if she can birdie the last here she’ll be the top Czech player That was a good shot A crowdleaser And as you say that will be some accolade where she to be the top player Par four this one 14 just over 400 yards but plays more than 20 yards down the hill Better distance and see the breeze just picking up Same hole for Esme Hamilton Back at 13 under now So four a drift Needs to go on that birdie charge seen it from one or two here Good iron shot Yeah chance coming up Six birdies already today for Hannah screen She’s been trending the last month Top 12 in her last three le starts Second season on tour for the English player Excellent shot Well there’s good birdie chances to come but must up and down this Luna and every chance she will Tidy touch Would you rather be Cassandra Alexander right now munching away on your lunch
i would I would now Come on knock it in Yes For the week of her life so far at least Bogey free 66 Top check player at the tip sport check ladies open for Natalie Sanain Well it’s just not quite happening is it there have been a few putts that have been left short by Metro She hasn’t got the measure of the pace of these greens Is that a sign of nerves maybe the amount of putts she has left short I would think so but you would think over time she’d managed to rectify that Yeah One over par on the back nine It’s not what’s going to get it done This to join the group tied second for Darcy Harry rolled in some big PS last week Yeah it was a great victory Great last round she played to try and bounce back here Hamilton Well that’s a way to do it Keeps her hopes alive Back to 14 under just waiting for one of these players at minus 14 to to pounce I saw quite a lot of Hannah screen as an amateur and she was very impressive then and you felt that there were bigger and better things to come after she turned pro She read that beautifully and executed it the same way
Yeah I think she’s one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks She is uh looking very confident out on the course Nicely done by the Spaniard
but it’s looking better by the minute for the clubhouse leader Closing 65 from Kirsten Rudley takes the Aussie into the top 10 but it’s a case of sit and wait for Cassandra Alexander Can anyone deny the South African after her sizzling Sunday 62 [Music] [Music] hello and welcome back to the final round of the tip sport check ladies open where the putter continue to frustrate Darcy Harry Another birdie not quite dropping here ending her hopes of back-to- back wins [Music] But having started the final day in a share of 23rd and six shots back that sensational 62 from Cassandra Alexander has her on the verge of a breakthrough win As it stands the lead is three Par five 15s unus pitch in pretty good one got to make these par fives count that’s nicely played from the Spaniard actually from one Moran to another both from the island of Morca so Brangamas in Aturios Par four just needed to run down that hill It was a good shot from where she was though She missed out on the birdie opportunity at fifth Well last week was her first cut made on the le 43rd in Belgium So what ever happens over these closing holes is going to be huge for her That was a good effort Little bit of tidying up still to come but won’t be the birdie that she needed here at 15 for Esme Hamilton Well done She does go on some runs and she’s capable of prolific scoring Four wins in her career

Yeah great to see inside the top 10 now at 13 under Could do with the chip in Metro That wasn’t an easy shot She’s coming downhill She had no green to work with She was trying to play it as she played it only a little bit better Well this could be vital for Pin Deakuro in terms of her chances of playing in a home major at Evian Big birdie right now into a share of third place at 14 under And that may well book her a spot in the next major Well at last Luna Sbron getting the reward for another good shot in And she potentially seems to be the likely one who could chase down Alexander

Yeah another good finish on the cards it seems for Nuria Over at 16 Hamilton just clinging to the fairway over on that right side This one looks right at it Well the quality of the iron shot got the ball to stop very quickly and she has a realistic birdie chance here We mentioned about the the sideshow the chase for the Evian spots We know Darcy Harry’s heading to her home course Royal Pool for the AIG Women’s Open and looks like she’s going to be heading to Evian with another top five finish here She’s missed quite a few greens on the back nine as Kim Metro That was a well played shot Nice technique on that one Three miscuts in a row coming into this week including the US Women’s Open but important for her that she finishes strongly now Well that really is a bird’s eye view of what Norio Torios has left for Birdie Keep coming She’s going to be Oh I thought that was going to hang on the edge Brilliant Three birdies in four holes now for its fellow Morcan could do with a similar finish Never started that high enough That was not the best of efforts Bit of work for par Now
the greens on the course are fairly flat generally but there’s a couple of greens on this back line that have really got a lot of swing on them Well done Very well played
Well her hopes are still alive You know she gets herself within two two to play reachable par five as well amongst it which is where Darcy Harry is now Surely she’s going to get this one Well she had to I mean she made so many putts last week to when she won She’s missed a few this week but it’s still a fine performance by the Welsh player Yeah win and a top five What a great couple of weeks for Darcy Harry Testing power part now though for Luna Subbron Galves must make does make pogy free for the day She remains uh she’s enjoying herself Yeah I was going to say Mickey started the day such high hopes now she’s well a bird eagle I suppose still could catch Alexander She hasn’t played with any authority today or uh lost her game a little bit 16-year-old Canadian rookie Anna Hang bogei two of her first four holes but she’s level par for the day right now And after that approach things may be getting better Nothing wrong with this swing is there Mickey
i’ve been so impressed with her It looks like a swing of somebody who’s already won tournaments not somebody who’s just starting out on their professional career Now I think uh her performance this week wherever she finishes up she’s going to gain a lot of confidence and self-belief and I think we’ll be hearing a lot more about Esme Hamilton It is very reachable this path five We’ve seen loads of uh birdies and eagles and people reaching it with ease And you can see the breeze helping But you do have to find the fairway The tourists on the edge for three on 18 to get within one of Cassandra Alexander for Luna Subbrang Galves Well she’s literally going to um have to hold her second shot on 18 Third shot

Yeah she still can catch her with an eagle No chance of one of those birds for Itios this for another birdie though Good effort You could say the same about the whole week for her really closing 68 Yeah Three top fives this season So like Luna Sabbron this would be to get within one Well that was uh one of those putts where you hit it a lot harder than you intend to That was a surprise for us as as it must have been for her Yeah Not many leaderboards out and about Wonder how aware they had been of that wonderful round from Cassandra Alexander And her odds are shortening aren’t they by the minute Metro has to hold this Not going to happen for her today unfortunately Such a wonderful Saturday to set her up for the possible victory She’s played more than 100 events now on the le Well an eagle chance for the youngest member on the le this season Not to be but a closing 71 and it’ll be a third top 20 of the season player who only turned pro after coming through Q school like Kim Metro played the US Women’s Open a few weeks ago
Now Esb’s been putting very well today but uh she’s going to have to continue that if she could save par here on the 17th That was a shame Yeah damaging three putt Can’t blame her for having a go with the first one given the overall situation in this tournament but it now takes her chances away Albe it I suppose she could make a miracle albatross down the last but they don’t come AC along too often do they really
no Eagles are quite rare but albatross is extremely [Applause] she’s a huge talent It’ be very interesting following her career in the years to come I’d have any chance this has to go in Well done

But it’s confirmation that Cassandra Alexander is a ladies European tour winner She’s the champion at this tip sport check ladies open after an extraordinary weekend of goals 18 under par for her last 36 holes Definitely deserves some champagne Gomez would go on to miss the birdie but closing at 15 under A two-shot victory for Alexander Never quite happy for Kim Metro but Hamilton landed a big birdie A final day 69 Good enough for a runner up spot Sandra Alexander though the one who’s going to walk away with the trophy Another good week for Emma Spitz Not enough to get her one of those spots at Evian though Germans the only harm and Kiara Neoya head to their home event next week in 54 [Music] Well what a way for Cassandra Alexander to win her first LE title with a course record 10 under Certainly time for the fireworks Yeah it sounds good to be a winner on the European tour It’s been years of hard work from me and my team So pretty special moment Hasn’t sunk in yet but I’m sure it will
