[Music] what a magnificent start to the 20125 Legends tour season here’s the best of the action from round one of the staw mara Legends at a loha golf [Music] club Local favorite Miguel anel gimenez is tied 16th after shooting three under the four-time Ridder copper two- putted on the par five 16th for one of his five birdies there’s a five-way tie for the lead on seven underpar including qualifying school graduate Leonel alexand who birdied his last three holes of the day three-time DP World Tour winner Anders Hansen reeled off seven birdies in a 10-hole stretch from the fifth finished with four pars to post his 65 Simon Griffiths hold this lovely putt for a two on the PA 3 13th last year’s Barry Lane Rookie of the Year continues to play well after finishing last season in magnificent form 2024 order of Merit number one adilson Des Silva knocked This brilliant t-shot to within inches on 17 as he remarkably picked up red numbers at all all four of the par 3es in a bogey free 65 coling Montgomery delighted the crowds with this long birdie putt at the 18th the Ridder cup Legend had nine birdies in total to join the lead group at seven underpar let’s hear from our leaders I enjoy it here got good fans here the weather was super yeah satisfying day 65 you can’t really knock that nine birdies uh uh couple of mistakes uh which you’re going to make around here uh but the nine birdies were good and yeah now I just felt today was just things are just going going in the right way and fighting was there and you know my own short was better today than last week so really really happy with it you always uh turn up and you know I have my ambitions and I don’t like to play bad and I don’t like to shoot bad scores but you know it happens and today was a was was was a good day so you got a CH first kept it in play off the tea pretty much I don’t think I missed a fairy maybe one uh don’t think I missed a green actually yeah just very steady straight hold a few pots 65 you’re always happy when you when you shoot 65 um it was kind of the following of the qualifying school so now I’m really happy I’m really happy it’s fantastic Place fantastic venue for the for the first tournament I like it and when you play well it’s a lot better
