I’ve thought long and hard about this…. For your first hole in one, no. Normal course, normal round. Any subsequent holes in one it counts with an asterisk. BTW, I’m scratch and still waiting on my first. I’m convinced it’ll never happen
Absolutely does, I’m fortunate to have three… One being on a local Par 3 Course. Had some dude tell me it “doesn’t count” despite that hole playing 180 stock. Lo & behold, the dude chirping had a shocking zero.
