142 is a pitching wedge for me. My fave club is my 5 wood. Always straight and usually lands 300yds. My driver on the other hand is hit and miss but can bomb it. Wom long drive hol3s in tournaments. Longest being 376. Straight away par4 that was 380 to pin and landed on fringe.

In highschool I was MVP on my golf team. I was able to stripe my PW a solid 150. Now at 33 years old, my PW is down around 120. I use to carry a driver around 310-320 but now I can only carry 290-300.

I hit a 48 a 100 yards even. My pitching 120 and 9 145. Once you got your numbers down it makes the game easier. My buddy hits his pitching 145 never compared them just cause we got different swings.
A 120 5 iron is vile
As someone who can hit relatively far, I would trade yardage for accuracy.
I mean not to far off. 142 is like an 8 iron for me. I dont have a fast swing.

I never use any irons below my 8. Drive 320, 8 iron is good for 180, then I 4 putt. Im the guy who has 5 foot eagle putts and still bogey the hole 😂
