The open was already won this putt although great did nothing to change what the outcome was to be.

I don’t watch a lot of golf, but my dad and I were watching it on the couch and cheering for him. We celebrated like we were there. Awesome Father’s Day moment! Especially for Spaun!

He only needed a 2 put to win. But a putt this hard when it's been raining most of the day could easily turn into a 3 putt. That gulley could have been very saturated, and he had to hit thru it just right, plus the hard break right, and the distance.

That putt was like a 'hole in one' , considering the hellish greens, good chance that couldn't have happened without the rain, what an incredible finish of a difficult day, I am so happy for JJ.
Sometimes, this is what life is all about. A great feat of athleticism, possibly a touch of luck, a champion, and a whole lot of people loving him and the moment. God bless the athletes that bring us joy and happiness.

Dude he grinded all day literally from 3 am with being a hell of a dad and husband to bogeying 5 of his first 6 on the day and just stayed the course and absolutely EARNED his first major. I hope he continues to have success really easy to pull for.
