52 behind with 43 on the table, to many players give up at this stage, get the head down and play for snookers, a snooker and a free ball changes everything, its not encouraged enough as commentators would go on about " well he should just concede and get into the next frame" if it was me and this game was my livelihood i would play on, if im 13 points behind i concede, 12 points behind or less i play on and try and get that free ball with a black at least to tie if 12 points down, commentators soon change there tone if a player gets the snooker and a free ball, i just think players give up when they have the option of a snooker and a free ball, just my opinion, especially more if your going to go out like vafai was here, just my opinion, it would drag the frame out and it would likely get criticised if he played on for another 10 mins and didnt get the snookers, but if he did with a free ball it would be said in the studio that this is an example never to give up, there is always an answer for both sides of playing on or not, i would play on here because im going out if i shake hands, not good from vafai here but i suspect mark wont be to bothered,

Vafei has problems with many other players, and is more than bit weird. He made a 147 against Mink, the young Thai girl, and she looked happier than he did about it. He looked like he had just been pencilled in for root canal work without anaesthetic, couldn't even smile and did not acknowledge the crowd or his opponent. just miserable and up his own ar*e.
