OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. – Mayor Ken Adams, the Board of Aldermen, and Olive Branch Parks and Recreation hosted a ribbon cutting for a new frisbee disc golf course located inside city park on Friday.

The course was designed by city staff and local disc golf players who volunteered their time. The course is 18 holes with a Par of 56 spanning 5,307 feet along city park’s walking trail. The course begins near the start of the trail beside the playground.

All capital funding for the new course was funded through the Olive Branch’s ‘People for Parks Hotel Tourism Tax.’ In 2022, Olive Branch residents voted in favor of implementing a 1% tourism tax on hotel stays within city limits that would help fund park improvements such as the disc golf course and the George M. Harrison Soccer Complex.
