job for young scouts is usually
the special teams day. And you’re you’re out here with the
punters and you’re timing touch
to toe. Like from when they catch the snap to when it gets
to their foot. And then your
timing hand times, your couple guys working on that. And that’s
usually something you graduate
from. And then these different positional groups, you’ll have
some guys assigned to keep an
eye on that as well. Where does holding the bag for this drill?
Right on the balls of the feet,
ready to roll? It wouldn’t be high on my list. I can I can
tell you that. But some guys
have been doing it for years and years and years. The foreground
does it every year, doesn’t he?
And he’s usually bag two. That gets the most action. But you
know a lot of coaches Vrabel who
we had up here. Yeah he’ll hit pro days. He loves holding the
bag. He holds the bag all. Are
you serious. Because you can feel it. Like when he has that
little shield and he can feel
how powerful guys are and how strong they are. DJ yes, sir.
But when Mike Vrabel holds the
bag, it’s a little different. The bag. The bag hits back. Yeah
it’s funny, I watch Mike when he
was coaching in Tennessee, put people on their deck when he was
working bags. That’s a big man.
Oh, DJ quick question. We know John Campbell goes to the edge
right pass rush. What about some
of these linebackers with the run throws from the middle. You
got any of those guys that you
you see as strong guys blitzing from the inside rushing the
quarterback. Yeah there’s a
bunch of them in this draft. You know with with Campbell kind of
being that that leader boss is a
really good blitzer from inside. You know I’m always looking for
new scouting terms and talking
to guys around the league and seeing what people are paying
attention to. And it’s exactly
what you’re saying, Charles, talk about entry points. Like
how many how many different ways
can you win as a rusher from different entry points. All
right we’re taking a break. We

Warren at tight end. They just
see the game differently. Having that experience even at the high
school level that’s different.
It’s high school and college now. It’s still valuable. It’s
good to see Mundine back out
there after taking one on the grill in the previous drill.
