my friends will if my friends see this because I I never give them enough shots it’s not necessarily too Fair because I I’ve played with some pretty bad golfers over over over time um 14 it was close it came down to 18th hole was friend back home friend back home yeah yeah he’s he’s actually I just I played to way too low of a handicap he played to close I think it I think it was yeah it was either 12 or 14 something like that but it was it was aggressive I I shot 62 or 63 and one like one up and everyone’s like oh The Strokes are fair I’m like what this is so far off you know just cuz I won doesn’t mean you know I’m not I don’t average is 62 so or 63 or whatever it was so um I I usually shy away from from playing for shots or for money for when someone’s getting that many shots unless I know them really well you know the game I play with at home at one point you know I’m giv one of the guys I think 20 shots now in our separate match and he still has a pretty pretty tough time beating me but I think that’s more of a reflection on him than than me yeah but well I it dep if you’re talking about giving Strokes I mean my dad probably I give him like a shot a hole he’s probably uh beating me uh that will probably be the highest it does it all the time does it all the time and yeah it gets pretty nasty I always give somebody like six more than their handicap maybe eight if I’m feeling generous and then I know I need to shoot like 65 to beat them um but uh the most I mean oh I played a guy one time and I gave him 18 shots and he was level power after 12 so he beat me on the 12th we played to about a six at home so you know when I play a four handicap I got to give him 10 shots which is which can be tough um you know I think for the most part I think 10 or 11 is the most but that that adds up when you can got a guy who could shoot 75 I have a buddy at home who’s a pretty good player and I usually give him four four and a half aside match play um he beats me um but he’s he’s pretty good they they can they can beat if they play their best I it’s almost impossible to to beat them but um I enjoy doing that I mean you know some days he go out he’ll go out and make four or five brige and shoot 73 and if I shoot 65 I get smoked um so that’s frustrating but I I remember uh an outing a couple years ago where I got hustled but I won’t go into details [Laughter] there sure a we’re not getting into that I’ve got one friend who’s not very good I could give him as many shots as he wants he knows who he is as well h

  1. Keegan and scottie are ridiculous 6 isn’t close to the right number. Rahms ghin says he’s better than +8. Scottie is like a +9 and change if he actually kept a handicap

  2. Wait til you get club knockouts. 20 shots is regular for single figure golfers playing higher handicap golfers. With an index of 12.7 I’d want at least a shot a hole vs a tour pro.

  3. I like 6 more than handicap, or 8. Not that I’d have a chance, but I usually shoot low 80’s now, as a 12 handicap. Ik id feel pressure and would have a few bad holes so, personally I’d prefer +8/10 on my handicap, but if I’m shooting well that would just be unfair bc of my advantage, so I think 6 is a very reasonable mark.
