start this is his fourth career start against Tampa Bay and he’s given a chance he has pitched very well for the Blue Jays both in relief and as a starter diaz hitting 254 seven home runs on the season and there he gets Diaz swinging at the top of the zone you see Diaz looking back at Kirk and into the mid he’s not quite sure he thought he he should have been able to get to that one but he backhand back hand on the pick at short and at first with the back hand by me watch how he gets his hips straight to first and the arm and the baseball will follow those hips and they did right to me “Be careful with Brandon.” And how about this next at bat he put that slider right back through the middle and it was an absolute no no doubter great job by Brandon staying on that pitch raise her out walks the Rays maintain their lead they are three outs away from a win here over Toronto fairbanks is on looking for save number nine and looking to finish it up for us with a Rays up 3-1 in the ninth inning so Nathan Lucas will bat two outs a man aboard fairbanks trying to put this one to rest and he does a swing and a miss 99 strikes out Lucas and the Rays are winners tonight and the Rays take game one of this three-game series 3-1 the final fairbanks will pick up the save and the Raids go to 24 and 26
