The TOUR returns to the Rocket Classic in Detroit, Michigan, where there are plenty of big-name stars teeing it up alongside some of the game’s best up-and-comers. Travelers Championship winner and 2025 United States Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley is among the field heading to the Motor City, looking to drive home another win this week. Alongside Bradley, and topping the field is the world No. 5 Collin Morikawa, who lost here in a playoff in 2023 and will be looking for a different fortune this time round. Joining these two are players such as Rickie Fowler, Hideki Matsuyama and Min Woo Lee. Detroit Golf Club will once again play host, and at the conclusion of this year’s event, it’s set to undergo a $16-million renovation – including all new greens.

oh yeah oh yeah
oh Elvis had some action there
hot Gator has 42 yards into the fourth here oh what a kick was that
what a bounce fizzed one in there close
on the ups slope here chris got her up off the 11th green coming in low wow
going down low cameron Young up at 14 had to lay it up here at the par five [Applause] watch out beautiful delivery from Cameron Young that’s going to get him to 400 it appears little
extra waggles there it’s on the way from 156 that was a good delivery right there that That looked pretty good jake Nap sending this one on its way looks like a really well struck put butt and look at that and here we are at 15 we’ll see an ace today austin Ecro
interesting uh different wind direction slightly different angle today look at this shot obviously he’s got no problem adjusting to that wind
this would go a long way for Jake Knap go ball jake Nap flying high moves to five under high into the air towards the center of the green now starting to fade towards the hole location oh look at that
and Griffin continues his march all right we’ll come back to 18 let’s go to the ninth and Chris Kurt is for birdie and share the lead wow beautifully and he’s feeling it on the greens this week he’s been rolling it great
let’s go to the first tom Kim middle of fairway just a wedge into the back right hole location controls that spin very nicely and here’s another great opportunity for birdie
jake Nap at the first
jake Nap with a syrupy tempo and that low ball flight and skip and a stop type shot does that very very nicely very quiet hands through that swing
32-year-old Detroit native making his PGA Tour debut who’s the winner of the John Shippen Men’s Invitational presented by Rocket it’s a beauty in there should move pretty good from his right to his left as it dies and turns at the hole oh that looks good for Pace that looks good for Pace Michael
stop it stop it and Delar now at 15 criso another player who’s very hot and streaky when he’s hot I mean he can make tons of birdies and here’s Philip Nolles this is third at 17 pitching it up there nicely oh look at that
banks it in
just plays a really nice pitch and run this is on a pretty good line if it gets up
i was going to say good as well better Hoygard nine under [Applause] what a call okay here at the ninth Jake Knap up and in for 61 the course record at hand how about 60 oh baby what a finish what a round of golf
well 62 stood as the course record for less than 24 hours here at the Detroit Golf Club jake Nap one better on this fabulous Friday final approach shot of the day for the leader Chris Kirk trying to keep it just slightly left of the flag oh he took it to the right stay that’s going to be even better now you’re going back up the hill one that he has to keep I think just inside the hole one at the last to close it out there’s your leader
how about that round of golf just how aggressive do you become right here at the start after nine birdies in the opening round Putnham looking to start his Friday with another
why not [Applause] so Windham Clark this is his fourth here how about this to save Par
beautifully executed little chip and run by Windham Clark he feels comfortable for the week that’s the most important thing is having somebody that makes you comfortable first and foremost and then you can work the nice shot really good shot you can work the other details as you go along
um at five Patrick his second out of the bunker yeah very high lip on that bunker and look at this matty fits Drano what a shot couple of birdies in the opening four holes of the day for Kurt Kittyama didn’t have to go much just enough little bump from off the sixth screen here for Ricky
hit the flag even better than that is playing under par with five Eagles 53 birdies and so there’s some fireworks happening a couple holes after us oh well
there we go that’s what I want to see 17th this is Highmith for an eagle players reaching this green in two and that’s what you can do that’s nicely done couldn’t have been more excited with how that finish ended up for Bradley this is Web Simpson at the 17th his eighth hole of the day oh yes get in there from Web Simpson gets him to six under par fact it was the year where he finished in the top five of all four majors and that’s what you’re talking about right there just cut right into the teeth of the win there Michael oh how about that three Michael
long hitter from Finland his second season on the PGA Tour ah it’s getting better and better what an approach by Valamaki a little bit of helping coming from the left turning from left to right oh is this any good got in there tight he’s got 98 yds oh he’s going the low route trying to skip it back there oh beautiful 14 see if Morau can pull within four there we go backto back birdies he’s seven under on the round chetier on the tea at the 15 trying to work it in on that breeze off the right and he’s done that very nicely and a great chance for him to make a two on that par three boy and that’s what he’s doing this is all over if it’s the number oh and it is in a big way this is Will Gordon needs to make the cut to keep his PJ tour membership his medical is going to expire at the end of this week and so here is the birdie for Gordon this has to go in and it does so it keeps his hopes alive he’s going to have to birdie the 18th and then just hope that the cut stays at six under par and does not go to seven has to birdie this to have any hope of making the cut at six under par last starter that major medical like we’ve been chronicling throughout this second round broadcast just birdie the 17th oh he’s done well this is his 14th start of the season gordon clutch he knows how meaningful that birdie was birdie birdie on 17 and 18 second straight day alcarta three under 69 for the moment projected to make the cut on the number at six under par those three guys are 14 under par if we have a cut at six under and you have 80 plus making it we’ll do threesomes it’ be those three in that final group Frank yeah that’s for sure but I mean what a reversal too we saw pottery yesterday he was one of the course record holders course record went again to again today with Jake Knap shooting his round of 61 i complete sort of topsyturvy day

Finally a player named Hooks on the tour lucky Kimbo Slice was in MMA and not golf … and Chris Gotterup ….and down !
Boycott the PGA until they free Wesley Bryant.
Knapp just obliterated the course record.
A lot easier when the top guys don’t play😅😅
9:24 look at this upstart peasant having to work hard to eat food. Dude probably grew up on a public golf course.
Can’t believe they only showed 1 of Phillip Knowles’ eagles today.
He had THREE chip in eagles on par 5s today, amazing!
Somebody tell the announcers to call the shots as if their audience is completely blind. “WELL, HELLOOO” is not gonna cut it.
ESPN is so awful
ESPN golf call, horrible…..
These commentators are some of the gayest dudes around.

Maybe. But Ken Yan has been watching for years 😂

Matsuyama for the win
Bring back Wesley! 🤝
Kirk gets how many highlights as the leader?
Go Hideki!!!
Knapp today wow. If that guy can produce that regularly he would scare the best.
Just make a top 10 players summary and fill it with super highlights. Not interested to see if somebody makes the cut, is called Fowler or Cantlay. Come guys you should be able toget this summary right! 😢
Seriously? Taking advice from a bogan
