wow so far in 2025 one of the most talked about drivers is of course the Tailor-Made QI 35 now I personally didn’t get on with it too much like a certain Rory Mroy but we’ve found what I think is the answer so guys we have a brand new upcharge shaft here it’s the auto power flex shaft and we’ve just done a video on my good friend’s channel Gaz gaz how are you

wow to be honest it it kind of shocks me a little bit how good this driver setup is and I almost feel a bit bad for not giving the Qi35 as much attention as some of the drivers this year today we’re going to have a long drive challenge here at Woolly Park Golf we’re going to talk some numbers as well for this shaft cuz although it’s an upcharge shaft how much it’s not that expensive is it
it’s just in line with other sort of exotic shafts so it can be sort of you know up charge about £250 or this is from the Autolex family and we all know the Autoflex family it’s a,000 shaft isn’t it very expensive something that most golfers just aren’t going to pay but I think this setup I mean you tested it against your proper fitted 900 pound driver and I mean some of the numbers that we’ve seen were absolutely phenomenal so basically the winner of this challenge he gets to keep the shaft and put it in their bag for the rest of the season

that’s why I didn’t agree to it deal honestly what you found here for the price cuz the big story here guys as well is whenever you get an Autoflex shaft or something within the Autoflex family guys you can tell us better it basically has to be swing weighted properly to the club
yeah so a lot of people go and test these other people have reviewed I’ll mention it rick’s reviewed it and they’ve not reviewed them in right swing weight they’ve just put them in their standard driver it had it has to be played in a light swing weight somewhere like D 0 to D1 D2 so very light
and that’s why we couldn’t do it in your stealth too because yours is a heavier swing
mine’s D7 so we couldn’t put it in the stealth to ED but if you get it the right swing weight you can get accuracy with these and people test them and they’re off the planet cuz they’re trying in D5 D4

this is where we just tweak the rules a little bit so that I potentially win and take the shaft but we didn’t say you got to be in the fairway so I’m going to say on this hole we don’t have to be but I think moving forward you do have to be

yeah you not brought a cab no I don’t need one i’m squinting a bit right so I must say um these are the this is the collateral damage from Gaza’s video and the consistency levels here this is the hardest driving hole on the golf course and you can see we’ve littered the fairway with this shaft so it really shows just how good it can be now my seed is here so it’s a good said about not missing the fairway where’s he running to there is that your um I don’t know

i’m going to just cuz Gaz has got it set on so it’s 10 and a half this LS head of the Qi35 i do think this is a really nice head as well i love the smaller shape and design of it and I’m going to put it just in neutral so it’s 10 and a half so I think with the low spin head and with this shaft I should be able to launch it nice and high and we saw the spin numbers at around kind of 2,800 but if I can just get them down a bit with the launch it’s going to be absolutely perfect we do have the heavy weight in the fade setting here so that’s helping Gaz as well so we’ll move that into the draw setting uh and again this kind of triacal would you it’s not retract but these kind of tri weights really really good I think for shifting that CG around we’ve got the 3 g weight in the back we could make this more forgiving and put the 13 g weight right in the back but I think with a head like this you want that weight forward don’t you
i think now you’ve got these like launch monitor driving ranges and stuff you can really fine-tune your drivers can’t you
yeah and I mean the thing I would do and the thing that Oh no the thing that the guys at Tailor Made would always say is go and get fitted and then I think the worst thing they can do is send you one of these keys and they actually stop doing it now cuz people do just start to tinker a little bit but
