you were obviously disappointed at the time but have you had a chance to step back get some perspective on the positives that happened to you this week or that week
yeah there was uh a lot of positives Um see that was my first time coming down the stretch in a major um and having the chance to potentially go on and win Um and yeah ultimately it didn’t didn’t work out for me It was a tough break on on 17 which it’s just unfortunate timing in in the tournament Um I can deal with making bogey on 18 cuz I didn’t hit a a great T- shot there and um that’s just kind of one of those things that happens Um but it was it was nice to finally have that feeling of having a chance to win to be honest I think that was my 41st or 42nd major So um it’s fair to say that I’ve had enough experience now Um and yeah golf’s a a stupid game Like I didn’t do anything different I didn’t try any harder or anything like that It just I happened to play well that week And uh I’ve I’ve proven in the past that if I play well on a given week wherever I’m playing I I’ll give myself a chance to to win the tournament What was it like to have John waiting there for you after your round it seems to really epitomize the team spirit of Legion 13
Yeah it was great I really um appreciated John I mean I know he had um another reason to to hang around as well Um but no it was it was nice to see John after after the round and um yeah he said some some nice words to me which meant a lot and um yeah I I appreciated that
