hey guys it’s uh Master Zim and uh I’m watching every shots uh from my win in Italy last year uh I hope you will enjoy my little commentary to it and um going through the emotions um enjoy uh first t-shot um was very good i I loved it um thank you just caught the the first cut a little bit unfortunately on the right side um was actually a perfect pin position now on the right for me for my little cut in there but uh you know when the pressure is on you have to commit to to these shots a lot to to get a cut in and um it’s not not a bad shot but 10 m left you don’t want to overcook it on the right it’s a pretty nasty chip from there so you see you know went like this and it’s a it’s a decent start had a chance had a good putt so that’s important that you you know you get the pace right at the beginning you don’t put yourself too much under pressure and uh nice little tap in par antoine was was uh I felt it he was hot as well he was uh he wanted to win badly so second hole it’s either or you know you can lay it up with a firewood but it was so windy already and um I decided to to hit my driver um and yeah ended up left the story of my Sunday um kept on hitting my T- shots a little too far left but I got lucky there you know beginning of the round I had a few good breaks which uh is very important if you want to win golf tournaments you need a bit of a break i think that was one of my best shots ever you see the little gap there um the problem there is if you take a take a six iron the ball will never stop so I think I had a eight iron or nine iron in my hand uh to get it generate a little bit of spin and um yeah hit the gap nicely there uh perfect perfect pace as well and um yeah so the rough there was growing into me it was not easy chip um delivered it nicely I think yeah pin out had a good chance actually to go in yeah take that the spectators were really behind me it was very nice in Italy um it was a a few times where I named Machello machado come on come on they were really behind me was fantastic and next hole is a is a strange hole as well you can actually hit driver i decided to hit a a chippy firewood and pulled it again um you see my reaction there again you can be dead there um sorry for that i didn’t see there was another player still there uh just realized it now when I watch the video again and um yeah I think this commentator said “Don’t be greedy here.” But uh the number was good and I just had to get it up in the air and yeah I think it was the first birdie of the day you see Antoine’s ball already um he made birdie it was a head-to-head start there antoan put a lot of pressure on there first bump yeah on the next hole uh it’s a tough hole especially with that pin position that day all all week the pin was on the left so you actually have to wing it down the left and um the course got so crispy um it was too dangerous to go down the right you see I liked it hit it straight into the rough but sometimes the game plan is um the way it is from there it’s just a little you know 80 m lob wedge and yeah need to pitch it shoulder the green and release it onto the green all right yeah was a bit too far left but it’s key in on a Sunday you don’t want to make any stupid mistakes at the beginning you know and uh I did that pretty well hit it away from the from the dangerous stuff that one hit it really close again so I had to hold it boom nice yeah it was it’s very important at the beginning that you keep going you know um I saw the scoring everybody was over par and and and we managed to to go under par first few holes it was was fantastic so that’s how you can hit a driver as well but it was too windy again if you push a little bit during the water so that was the sensible play you know I was two on after four holes there was no need to to risk anything and now it is that’s the moment where where it starts you see the flag going left to right um I tried to to draw it in a bit but um the wind took it straight away and I actually didn’t think it was that bad but yeah wouldn’t picked up and see my reaction well done yeah was a good good confident chip easily done on this golf course with that type of grass if you don’t commit to the chip shot especially uphill you just keep everything short so our next hole we had to wait like 10 15 minutes i’ve never had that in a in a final round um that you have to wait for the group in front of you but um because of the wind swirling back and forth uh people were hitting it over the green and um I pulled that again but you can’t hit it right so I didn’t really commit to my shot but I made sure I’m not hitting it right i’m not hitting it long left myself a tricky putt there down grain up the hill um so you see it’s it’s quite fast even though it’s uphill doesn’t stop like wo wo stop you don’t want these on the Sunday these little testers but we made it yeah next hole part five is a dangerous hole it’s you can go there for two but a lot of people they laid up as well but uh you know on a Sunday if it’s not stupid you have to to attack a little bit you know I don’t know if you guys saw in the live coverage I had a bit of a discussion with my caddy that he didn’t want me to hit 3-wood and um but in the end I decided to hit my 3wood because I was able to cut it in now and um love the shot that never really cut Um but in my opinion intelligent leaf for this pin position because if you lay it up back look at the pin look at the wind direction coming from the water if you stand there with a pitching wedge there’s no way you hit that close so from that area I have a good chance to to still to make a birdie yeah take that every time i actually thought I had that didn’t move left to right unfortunately this is no beer by the way this is just kids beer yeah I have to pause here now so this next shot I think this was the key shot for me because this is where I just started to that three on the last and this shot now um pin on the right tucked into the into the corner it was a five iron um I think that that made a change for me that day i said “Okay this I have a chance to win i’m I’m on you know I’m hitting the shots I want to and um I’ll I find the the tough pins and um yeah let’s see now yeah staring it down it was a perfect number for me for my for my little cup five on I think there were there were only five birdies on this whole um on Sunday [Music] yeah it’s nice when you go one ahead you know so now you leave the tournament it’s a totally different feeling and being being co-leader all the time now it’s in your own hands kind of and that was the first time I hit that that fairway on the ninth hit it left three times Thursday Friday Saturday and now it starts you see it starts blowing more and more and more and um the wind switched so badly my distance control use is very good it was a perfect pitching wedge for me and I absolutely loved it the clap twirl there and it’s it’s 10 m long which I don’t have that i don’t have I can’t hit my pitching at 135 all of a sudden we thought it was only right to left um tricky putt all of a sudden um but it was was good nearly hold it but that shot took a you know on the eighth I said that was a game changer in a way i I thought I can win the tournament now and um and then this this shots with the wind takes a lot of confidence out of you and uh usually when it’s strong wind it doesn’t swirl um but now we get into the part of the golf course which is getting into the into the forest where the wind spoiled so crazy and I think I guess you saw a lot of crazy golf shots from the other players as well um wasn’t that bad i think I just missed the fabric a little bit it actually stays on very important now that we had a little bit of luck here oh the simul spin control and um yeah again my my confidence was was after the ninth a little bit gone so I started to hit away from the pins again a little bit not a bad golf shot but not 100% birdie chance i watched it a few times now so you see actually that my confidence [Music] um was a bit lower than than at the beginning all of a sudden well that’s part of golf and you just have to get it over the over the line guys doesn’t have to be perfect everything it’s very very tough to commit to a certain shot when you don’t know where the wind direction is from um you know if it’s in off the left if it’s only in or it’s sometimes even went from from the right a little bit so uh pin was on the left here i tried to get it on the in the middle of the green but I never want to miss it left um because I I know it’s it’s a tough up and down uh that was a horrible eye so now it’s changing a little bit i was a bit lucky on the front line with my lies and my my bad shots i got away with it and and now um I had a horrible eye there she’s came out dead i guess it evened out evened out uh on on Sunday with with luck and bad luck there’s a few bad breaks coming later but uh yeah that was a tough hole i mean you can make a bogey in that hole it’s okay but again short which is not very usual for me i don’t leave putts short usually but you see my confidence is not 100% here that moment of the tournament that just went in got lucky there ball gone guys you make a bogey throw the ball away so I hit a few left this one went right now you’re reacting to your bad shots that’s normal as well see out the rough sometimes you hit a shot play for the wind thought I came back that was lucky again you know out of the rough the ball doesn’t spin as much and and you you aim a bit further left so the wind brings it back but out of the rough sometimes the ball just goes dead straight through the wind what happened there not the best angle for that pin guys I wish I could commentate a few more good shots but uh was not easy out there guys bit too aggressive but I told myself on the last you know you can’t leave everything short um let’s try to play a bit more aggressive again um I had to hold this otherwise if you won one back then problems it’s good fun with Antoine to play though he’s he’s a great guy and he’s uh quite emotional as well we had a good battle out there yeah it’s a little fivewood dog leg right uh I think I played that hole nicely actually all week um was a tough pin um on the top right little plateau my back left was That was better better shot again the greens in the end they were really crusty um you will see the next few holes here as well you see whoop just dived right i I thought it was dead straight the grain you know when it’s getting the grass getting a little longer to the end of the round and um the grain comes much more into play all of a sudden yeah it would have been nice to go back to minus 13 that shot for example I totally loved see that little fade I hit there and and the wind was just not doing what it was it was 10 m short and uh I couldn’t believe it get there and it’s plugged so this is where you know you don’t want this normal light it’s actually easy bunker shot i think I managed to hit a very good shot from there but uh yeah that’s where it started see the shadows overhanging now um towards the holes it’s pretty much every hole in the last few um where it’s tough to see the grain speed i love that though it’s no excuses um it’s I think it’s that’s great at golf that um winning in the in the last group and the condition conditions change um the golf course changes getting a bit tougher but if you want to win tournaments you have to go through all of this and and manage it there’s no no excuses yeah 15 i don’t know um I didn’t like that whole was a great drive [Applause] so now the wind was actually not that much off the left um it was it was actually uh should have been straight down and the wind was just I hit a nice little No it was actually up the right sorry guys so I was waiting for the ball to come right to left and it never moved and it actually went left to right in the air boom i thought it was plucked again but uh it wasn’t so now you have a lot of sand and rough in front of you so you have to make sure you Yeah sorry for that but there was no sand yeah you don’t need this at that moment so you complete misread that one it’s just breaking after the I thought it was left right from the beginning on but I’m steaming here you see this one made double i’m leading by one so this is all full of shadow broke a lot more than I expected here we go 10 under mr mckibben sitting in the clubhouse and I think he was actually on the way to to the airport already i think he should be back by now being on the driving range to open the door for Antoine as well again tricky hole hardcore the dog leg right to left got to make sure you don’t go too far because it’s so hard the ball’s bouncing see everything is burnt there already so that was actually a quite far back but um perfect little nine iron for me i wanted to go left so this is where my reaction i hit a bit on the toe the ball started right and uh yeah see distance was good but uh I wanted to to keep it left at the flag there to be honest that wobbled was a good birdie chance to be honest it was a easy putt but uh from the fringe would have been nicer so now I’m I’m I’m trying to attack again i want to go one ahead i mean 17 is not really the hole but I I hit a beautiful iron shot there and it never moved it never moved totally loved it but uh then I hated it so see there it’s all burned it’s like concrete underneath the ball is actually nicely in the air easy lop shot for me usually but um yeah you will see what happens now see it’s actually quite fluffy it looks nice but then you hit the ground a little bit and because of that the the the club face shuts and it just goes 5 m further than um you expect boom this is not It would never happen usually to me but you know you cannot test the ground so it is what it is now making a [Applause] bogey hard to watch guys so now you on nine under McKibben is in the clubhouse with 10 you know you have to make birdie and um I felt so embarrassed about what happened i said I have to make this I have to make this birdie now um because just there’s a lot of players which have never won and and had these problems on the on the final stretch and they never recovered from stuff like this so I said to me “Dude this can be very painful here so just go all in you have to you have to do this now you have to make birdie there’s no other option you got to do it.” And um I was not nervous at all on 18 i was just pissed off and I said there’s get the job done here come on man yeah 18 you know you have the chance to make birdie it’s one of the easier holds and straight downwind now um got a bit unlucky to be honest there i thought it was perfect the shot I hit there nicely cut to the middle of the fairway but again the wind push it a little from the right right to the left and um yeah here we go and the high stuff to a front left pin not ideal um I try to go for the flag and pitch it in the in the first catch the green um but then again out of the rough sometimes the ball falls to the right a little bit good job for And now it starts to be nice again ah beautiful uh that’s the best feeling in golf um well this thing after actually thinking you know you’re minus 13 McKibben has not even a chance to to be in the mix um and you have to make birdie to get back into the mix yeah pure emotions good thing is you know worst case scenario you’re second now so it’s a success already um Antoine said “Typical Masim here.” Yeah I love this guy he’s super cool uh yeah and then the stats you know I’ve never lost a playoff in my life uh I think it’s my fourth tournament I won in the playoff so this time I wanted to make sure hit it on the fairway i didn’t want to do the same mistake uh like in regulation on 18 and I overcuted that a bit too much and and I climbed in the wind so it wouldn’t change a little bit again there i couldn’t believe how far back I was so I had a seven iron in my hands all of a sudden usually I’m the aggressor in the playoff but um yeah fantastic shot of Tommy there great player and yeah here we go then I did a little seven iron cut actually straight at it the wind was off the right a little bit from that angle and um cut it against the wind and I knew it was it was it was great yes my t-shirt was not great i left myself a seven iron in on a very short hole you know so I was quite happy with my shot for me it was more okay i’m I’m not losing you know i have my birdie chance you know this is I I I will make my birdie so now it’s on him it’s nice to go through the round like this actually it’s much more fun fun now uh not from 10 till 17 that was a great answer of him under pressure didn’t expect that to be honest i I thought a young player like him uh would bail out right or something like this but uh fantastic shot but I I didn’t know Tommy that well you know I mean he won he won Hamburg the the the year before on 18 unbelievable golf shot as well to win the tournament um but I didn’t expect them to to hit it actually that close but um for for me it was more important okay if I make birdie I can’t lose you know then we go to the second extra hole so this is this is more the the pressure mathematics there in a way so this is you know I was quite calm before he missed it but now he missed it i It’s just the heart rate uh triples all of a sudden but uh that’s the moment we all live for as golf pros you know to have putt to win a golf tournament and uh get in there [Applause] amazing again the spectators were amazing there was so much behind me um I think I never won a golf tournament where where spectators were were rooting so much for me uh yeah thank you very
