Reflecting on the day, he said, “Everything was clicking,” as he credited his recent form and calm mindset for the breakout. kevin heck of a day just take us through it yeah thank you uh yeah just one of those days everything was clicking um a lot of fairways a lot of greens putter got hot you know bonus chip chip in on 17 for Eagle it’s just uh you know when you got it going it’s it’s a lot of fun to try to keep it going and um yeah just really happy with it yeah uh course record 62 um talk us through that chipping yeah you know I was just telling them I was shocked my fivewood went that far i mean I had 279 pin i don’t hit a fivewood that far but maybe a little adrenaline or something going on um luckily it just trickled off the back and you know it was a fine lie just kind of had to plop it up and you know it just it rolled in like a two-footer so uh certainly a bonus a lot of low scores today but not as low as yours um is there anything in your game that you saw kind of felt this coming or anything trending recently i mean I feel like I’ve been playing pretty well uh the last few weeks uh you know I had a good finish up in Canada um I’ll be honest I I wasn’t really happy with how I struck it yesterday uh in the ProAm um but you know I came out and had a good practice session and uh kind of had the same feels I had in Canada where I where I uh drove it and ironed it really well so um just kind of took that out to the course and you know worked out is there anything specific about the course that suits your eye uh to be honest with you not really i mean it’s just you know you got to hit some draws out there i like I like seeing a draw um it’s a lot of drivers i think drivers probably my best club in the bag so um nothing nothing uh specific but um I think it’s an awesome golf course it’s fun to play as we kind of head towards the end of the season here is the FedEx Cup race something that uh weighs on you or affects your preparation or puts any added pressure yeah I mean I try not to think about it to be honest with you i think if I keep playing the way I’ve been playing I think everything will take care of itself um you know we still got a lot more tournaments to play so um you know right now I’m just kind of focused on Detroit and hopefully we can uh have a good week here thanks hey uh Kevin you shot 62 in the first round at Puerto Rico as well how does this round differ from that first round there um this is a much harder golf course uh so this one uh this one definitely I mean I played great in Puerto Rico that day as well but you know Puerto Rico is a lot more wedges um this one you know you’re going to have more you know 9 eight seven six irons into some holes so this one uh this one definitely I would put on top of Puerto Rico for sure thank you we can do this real quick oh no oh they they start there they come out passing the ending

Everytime I take him in my pool, he can't make the cut, now this!! Wow! Oh well! Keep it going even though it is painful!!
