The TOUR returns to the Rocket Classic in Detroit, Michigan, where there are plenty of big-name stars teeing it up alongside some of the game’s best up-and-comers. Travelers Championship winner and 2025 United States Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley is among the field heading to the Motor City, looking to drive home another win this week. Alongside Bradley, and topping the field is the world No. 5 Collin Morikawa, who lost here in a playoff in 2023 and will be looking for a different fortune this time round. Joining these two are players such as Rickie Fowler, Hideki Matsuyama and Min Woo Lee. Detroit Golf Club will once again play host, and at the conclusion of this year’s event, it’s set to undergo a $16-million renovation – including all new greens.

five playing 165 and Alex I mean these young kids they come out right away Phillips whoa they expect to win right now and Carl’s already got a victory the second from Morawa up off and running at 17 a little bit oh Michael look at this it’s gorgeous oh [Music] and Colin can’t see it from there because that greenside bunker on the left blocks it out a little bit okay Ricky in more familiar territory that just looked like a super nice pass yeah baby and Wiz had a bunch of circles on his scorecard today and connection control this uh the right hand ruff oh yeah perfect zack Johnson birded five of his opening nine holes today this would be stealing one at the 10th oh why not just go ahead and rattle another one in there andrew Putnham at the fifth really nice upper body rotation right there over to five just an eight-footer for Andrew Putnham he doesn’t miss many of those one of the elite ball strikers in the game here’s Benon at 13 should peel back off the slope here she comes makable makable down she goes michael Thorbyson at 11 working on a beautiful high draw this is going to This is looking really good and is going to use the slope look at that shot and great work from Thorby and a couple of top tens this one may have a little zip on it from Minu Lee at eight [Applause] vention i don’t think he’s playing a whole lot of break with this putt Swanie oh it started to wiggle back and it went right to the bottom the man knew what he was doing had some kind of career and he’s having obviously a really good day something he’s very capable of doing chris Ventur having a great day his team shot at 15 how about that to get to eight under and a one shot bat player who has really found his really found his spot in this big stage how about Griffin he jars it from the fairway why not i mean what else is new what can’t this guy do and brilliantly executed they’re going in from just about anywhere beautiful bunker shot from Gary Whitley to get the right smile there the par five steven Joerger been a tough outing double bogey on the second hole after an errant T-shot but hello oh crowd loves it second shot from Ryan Gerard on the 15th just trickled over the back of the green there ryan Gerard needs to stack a couple up and he’s tossed one in there close here that’s in business at the fifth which is what this ball is doing if it’s enough could be very good beautiful hey look at that shot the 24 year old played his college golf at Pepperdine second for Albert Potgator 17 talk about strong player they can push it through the air pretty quickly i don’t know what he had into the par five but that looked like a mid iron to me role models that you would want to copy on and off the golf course as we watch Per makes the turn in seven under 29 and he’d keep it going at the first just hammered it down there just had a little flick into the screen making it look easy today to kick in range this is Tristan Lawrence second at 13th played well at Marian slightly different feel here this week i think less stress than Marian you can be attacking the holes just like that wonderful shot from the South African a chance the rookie Gordon Sergeant one under par it’s going to come nicely down that bank what a shot there won a men’s individual title as a freshman at Vanderbilt shorter hitters they get a lot of wedges in their hands might not be able to go for some of these par fives but you know if you’re a short hitter you’re a good wedge player as we see right there and Kevin Kizner sets himself up for another birdie lucas Glover has done it matt Coocher has done it like and I’m with you it’s cool when it happens [Applause] oh oh [Applause] great line look what he found there Frank he’s done exactly that oh perfect eagle two for Hideki players at different stages of their seasons in their careers this is Brett White who qualified to play here oh look at that little hop towards the flag and it is going to be a birdie when that goes in to get to three under path [Music] let’s go to the 17th and Kevin Roy good try there nicely done and that gets Kevin Roy into a tie for the lead that’s a wedge from 144 on the way a flag that’s perched back there and that’s a really nice effort so he’ll have that to get to 10 under yes 10 under par leading the way at the Rocket Classic that’s certainly the case tom Kevin Roy can he respond other side of the course on the 18th now one back a pot gator another great shot he has played beautifully today caps it off that’s a round of 62 breaks the previous record of 63 by one ties his low round on the PGA Tour come on wind trying to get it to move a little left that’s solid hot gator oh he’s made it gave it the early walk too nice to settle for a share of the course record with Kevin Roy 10 under 62 here’s Mark Hubbed on the TE at 15 [Music] yeah throwing it right in there you can see how soft the golf course is a little bit of rain ben Coohl’s with his T-shot players going flag hunting here with these soft greens there’s another example and not far away from an ace there it’s going to be a tap in birdie yeah I mean so much was up for grabs we got lucky with the weather the rain that came
