on the LPGA tour this year even par right now looking to get one here and it’s an early birdie for Lexi Thompson out and a group alongside Yukaso and Yoli no who had one of the best rounds in the afternoon over to 16 and this is Huang on the tea she’s got the lowest round on the leaderboard right now of those players that are out on the golf course in the morning wave very straight par4 really very much a second shot hole just a moment ago at the ninth the fourth shot for Lindy Duncan player who thrilled us at the Chevron Championship earlier this year oh one way to secure the par there at the par five so lead to get it up and down for a get under par for the championship well done but on the right side they’ve got about 25 paces of depth so to your point carry over that front edge you got a little bit of room and it’s so hard to make yourself do it when you’re just going in with such a short wedge oh just pitched it on the top of the bunker okay that landed really soft because it landed in the rough aggressive well we have the again we have the privilege of seeing this and anybody that’s got the afternoon this is Kuwaki who’s actually got off to a very good start yes today excuse me after a difficult opening round yesterday her approach into 16 oh this is looking good look at that wind well done you get some rain delays in those spots as well to take a little break lexi and this is going on a bit of a draw left side is much more difficult paige yeah I was going to say the easier to approach onto this green from the right yes and just the second player to reach this green today and stay on the green gabby Lopez reached it earlier today that is tremendous so this should be more on the go right half the hole oh very very confident too as well as soon as she set her putter down immediately took it back she Yeah not easy with that long wand well done okay so good group there lexi and Yulimi know for the first time in the KPMG Women’s PGA this is the T at seventh ring in let’s see if she’s got the length to run it up there on the correct line this right side of the green if it can get up that hill well done and she will have a putt for an eagle fantastic run up onto the on the green there themselves a chance brianna dove for a birdie at five battling away around the cut line yes that could be very important come the end of the day but while we have a moment let’s head back up to our booth um so that means Yuka’s got to get a couple of birdies there’s a forearm well struck shot on a really good line oh that is wonderful we’ve seen several players able to reach this green or at least pin high left of it in that pitching area but I have not seen any better than that to 13 and Bong’s T-shot needs to carry it pretty far into this green yeah this hole location where it is towards the the back that is well done into the breeze so you saw the green hold walk with third at the first yeah this 22year-old is four under par today it is the best round going in fact this group has quite a bit of momentum ruffles Come on can we get more with trouble surrounding it it’s only what is it 8 yards deep in that side of the green the more left you go the more room there is she was looking at it she was worried of for a second but that is in beautiful position remember this that hole with the pin on the far right side oh that should get some help off the ridge very few players able to get it close into this hole today when you’re in this position you think okay just walk off of here with a bogey sometimes just accepting that bogey is a is is a good thing in majors oh this from 43 ft acceptance just make that that was awesome now Yuka who just watched Lexi drain the long one up the hill and she secures the birdie backto back birdies for Yukaso who’s fighting to make the cut let’s check in with a member of the Corbridgeidge financial team this is Alli White on the T at four 35year-old is the director of golf at Lancaster Golf Club in Ohio nearly don’t want any part of the right side of this green oh this is going to be good though very good wow very good from Yulimi no sets up a great birdie look to get to two under par with Yimi no here for a birdie at the 11th this was just a moment ago yeah nicely done good positive putt there so Yimi Node to two under par and just a couple back of the lead that’s 16 she’s been playing some good golf this year on the LPGA Tour oh nice that gets her to two under pass so she’s just two back and back to back birdies it isn’t until the ball gets up around the green that it will be affected by that wind lexi from 148 yds working on the fade oh that was lovely well done and finally known now with her third from 73 yards you cannot see the the bottom of the flag oh well done what a recovery after finding that thick rough left of the hole that’s from 11 ft and in well done all of a sudden Lexi Thompson just one back i think she has to try and keep this a little down because if she can balloon this up in the air it’s going to get caught by this wind she has she’s kept this one down nicely it’s on a tremendous line oh wow wonderful shot there from Yimi no playing well was playing alongside Ginyong Ko we just saw her withdraw and yes so Charlie gets that to drop battling away to try and make the weekend here to get it to four over yeah she’s lived in this area for about a year now moved to Dallas in the summer of 2024 as we head over to the 10th and find Jasmine Suanapora just beginning her round 30-year-old from Thailand went around in yesterday and that’s a beauty to hold your first of the day for birdie alexi would be delighted to get in one hole to play hannah Green away with her third at 14 oh an eagle at the par five from the Aussie in the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Champion yeah that deserves a fist pump and a big smile what a way to bounce back from uh well bogey double the last two holes
