so one of the things that’s been really big in footwear in the last couple of years is a carbon plate right i was wondering if it was coming to golf turns out it is so i suppose the question is that it might increase your club head speed by way of improving how efficiently you can put force into the ground uh and the shoe has a better ground reaction force so you get forced back better okay two lux two maven godspeed nice box they cost a freaking fortune each shoe comes in a felt pouch excuse me smells smells new oh yeah oh yeah there you go in the lightning bolt in there yeah that’s um that’s the carbon plate uh i actually i quite like i quite like how those look and these are i believe one of the first few sets of the trs that have a screw in spike system and this is one of the things that i was kind of really curious about true was were they going to stay with moldables or were they going to move on um we’ve got a second set of laces in here i have no idea why i they look the same so i imagine that’s just for when these laces get dirty which is a nice touch so anyway stay tuned coming soon we’re going to get on force plates uh and we’re going to get on the sim do these carbon plated golf sneakers are they going to increase one club head speed with a ball two dry club head speed so club head speed without a ball and three speed stick speed do we see a change my current golf shoe my footjoy prems versus these yes no engineered we love that word at the greens and gains podcast for golfers so that you can enjoy the walk okay so my my initial questions about the lux two mavens from true one the whole brand of the shoe or the whole brand of true is in to enjoy the walk that is stiff um these are so stiff i have serious questions about whether i’ll enjoy the first walk one two is that ground reaction force going to move the needle on club head speed because that’s really what the $430 is for right i don’t need better ground reaction force for when i walk around the golf course i want to get better return for what i put into the ground i’m going to look at seven iron and driver cuz i’m hitting drivers so badly at the moment that it it doesn’t need to be any quicker it needs to be in the air um i’m really keen to hear your thoughts are you interested so stay tuned watch this space um and i hope i hope to god that these are good because for $430 uh i better see a significant ball in club head speed bump watch this space
