professionally you know all this kind of stuff so I’ve won the Golden Gloves like everything I’ve done that’s a hobby of mine has a chance to [ __ ] me up so the cool thing is like with golf I love it is that the you know I get to have fun put you into these moments and I’m not going to leave [ __ ] up i don’t have a potential of that so for me I really enjoyed it i flocked to it was kind of right during COVID all I was doing was playing golf and riding motocross so that was it i’m a range rat bro i love it i love going like for like for me like my chill time is going to the range for an hour hitting balls enjoying well I think I’ve said it in my comments i think his his swing is hot garbage it’s trash i think his putting stroke is trash you know so it’s like so for me it’s like you know I just sit there and I’m talking [ __ ] um which I will continue to do today um uh front and foremost but um you know the thing is like you have a golf channel you’re putting your swing out there you’re putting your stroke out there you better be ready to get [ __ ] [ __ ] talked to you’re not impervious to the world of social media come on now you know what I mean there was some breaking news on PJ Tour and you just said “Great for golf but Rigs still sucks.” Yeah yeah sounds like me another reminder Rigs is hot garbage at golf yep yes he is but it’s also like you know we’re like I said we’re a golf champ you guys are a golf channel so it’s like we’re all golfers that are following it right and he says he’s a four handicap but I see him he does a chicken wing into a pro finish you know so for me it’s like you have golfers we’re all we’re all looking at each other’s swings and all that good stuff now I don’t sit here I don’t have a Freddy couples or a nap swing right you know what I mean but it’s nicer than his all right I’ll tell you that so for me I am going to talk that [ __ ] when you’re sitting there saying you’re a four handicap where I think he’s like realistically like an eight or a 10 you know that’s that from what I see kind of what we’re out here okay that’s exactly it uh another one literally no one cares about your no knowledge input tricks go back to sucking at gold yeah yeah that’s that’s that’s one of my favorites um yeah you know like I like I said man like he he comes in hot he has these analysis takes and I don’t know where this analysis comes from but it’s like I always say like I’m like “No one’s talking [ __ ] about Frankie or Trent.” You know what I mean i don’t really see that but they’re talking [ __ ] about him so there’s got to be some kind of common denominator there you know whether he’s got like a little bit of a douche factor you know i don’t know what it is you know but there’s something there and then when you hear the analysis it’s not it’s not on par with what somebody who’s a golfer would say got him nixed because he was the only one that knew what the hell he was talking about this was on a Dan on golf show rigs has a small wiener and sucks at golf snake in the grass see I mainly do these things because they’re very entertaining to me they make me laugh i laugh while I post them they’re really funny his analysis I the whole point in this series which I’m 4 and2 in is to prove to people I’m not a liar okay like that’s just my handicap i post every score I’ve ever played in my life and the USGA system tells me right now I’m a 4.6 so anything I hire I would be ridiculed everywhere I went for being a scumbag sandbagger trying to take money from people that’s just my number okay so I So for me when people I think a lot of the hate derives from I can’t believe this guy wants everyone to think he’s a single-digit handicap that’s what I am i don’t Yeah I’m not but I think it’s also like kind of like how you push it off as you know like how you bring like your analysis and things over that like how you talk is not that of somebody who’s like a and your chicken wing like your chicken wing that you have like with your grip like isn’t like that of your handicap so for sure you think your handicap’s wrong no I do not i just You’re four down to me and you’re 100% I am four down but that’s golf so that’s would ask you have you ever done like So I like to do which I think is like a good introspective exercise is try to think about stuff like that from other people’s vantage point so like when I think when I see the hate Yeah i think okay if I’m a guy working 9 to5 whatever the hell it is I’m jumping on Instagram and I’m looking at this um could I what what could I possibly think could I come to the conclusion this guy’s full of [ __ ] and I’m like certain videos that we put out if that’s all you saw 100% i understand that i could see like god this guy played [ __ ] horrific yep if you saw the full body of work which a lot of our fans who like root for me each year for me have seen at videos where I’ve posted a 74 before like I’ve posted really good scores before okay so my question be like have you ever thought about it from my vantage point like if I’ve been telling the truth the whole time how frustrating this must be for me absolutely i’m just telling the truth that’s just like how I play no I can understand that absolutely and it’s just like I guess like dude it just it I think it also is like how you come off with it like it’s like I don’t know what it is but it’s also like how you say it’s like one you think you see your swing you see your stroke and you’re like “Dude there there’s no [ __ ] way.” Cuz like you have this chicken wing finish that you go to a pro finish right your grip is [ __ ] whacked like towards your swing and stuff like that there’s a lot of things you see where you’re like “Fuck there’s no way this guy is putting together these [ __ ] scores.” Not to mention a lot of people on social media not the [ __ ] most honest people out there well here’s what I would say is like we’ve done 750 podcasts or something barol sports y we’ve done thousands of videos i think like in order to be a bar stool personality it is 100% derived in authenticity okay so if I was like known as a full of [ __ ] person Yeah that would be out there i’ve written thousands of blogs i’ve spoken for thousands of hours about golf for that to be the thing that I’m just lying about i think to everybody who’s a fan of all that stuff would be crazy like no briggs is honest about like we’re very self-deprecating we’re very much like yeah we can absolutely suck at golf i get so nervous sometimes on the tea like we’re very honest about all that stuff so again I just for me it comes off and again I do that exercise i’m like “All right I get and a lot of the comments that are like medium temperatureed I totally get.” Yeah when people turn the notch up i don’t know if it’s to get more comments or likes or if it’s just genuine in which case that’s just mean but it’s like to truly like try to tear somebody down thinking or acting or writing that they’re like a liar hurts me well I know that I never called you a liar but that’s what it would be if my handicap’s not real I would be a liar but for sure but I’ve never said that you’re lying about your handicap i’ve just trashed your swing your and your stroke those are like so those are things that I look at and I’ve never once said that you’re a liar never attacked your character in any [ __ ] way right but I think that’s where it comes from for me for a lot of people when they’re like there’s no way this guy’s a single digit handic he’s full of [ __ ] that just means they think I’m a dishonest liar and that hurts i don’t care if they think my sucks but you but you can’t put they think my my putting stroke sucks cuz they all visually do i agree like when I see videos of me doing the hump thing I [ __ ] hate it dude you look at you and it’s all shaky and you’re like “Holy shit.” Like there’s no way that this guy’s dropping putts that means something for a round totally right so like that’s I haven’t missed one yet no dude you’ve been [ __ ] rolling it it was same yesterday and my point is like people looked at the body of work which again that’s why I think we do have a ton of fans that root for us cuz they’re like “Yeah these guys are normal guys who like of course my swing is janky i’m a weekend golfer who found this job all of a sudden of course I can struggle out there i’m a weekend golfer.” Nick Dunlap had a 19 shot difference Thursday to Friday at the Masters absolutely people can go out and play horrible and then really [ __ ] golf and so again I think most people that are fans of us like get all of that what gets frustrating to us and especially me why we do the series like people that don’t grasp all that just see one bad round or swing or a couple bad think like that guy’s horrific no way you could play good golf yeah but I put enough comments out there and like where it’s like where I watch I see enough where it’s not just one like it was like I’ve seen a bunch and then I then so then there was dozens and and of of comments that I made so that’s why I sit there and I’m like I look at it as like I’m also talking [ __ ] like again I’m not attacking your character family members anything like that i’m talking [ __ ] cuz it’s amusing to me i think it’s [ __ ] funny right and I sit there and like and so my thing is if you have a golf channel and you put your swing up there and your stroke up there is going to [ __ ] come you’re fair game i get that it’s going to come you’re fair game i get that but again my point is I think there’s a difference between being a little bit funny weighing in and then being over the line like malicious and like a hater that’s I think a big deal okay i guess we got to figure out what your line is of a hater and what’s malicious yeah i think like messaging somebody not for public consumption at all just mean stuff i haven’t messaged you once is Yeah but people do is Yeah I get that then
