Let us recall that this event intended for amateurs offers a unique and innovative format, the first competition in match play over 6 holes and in double mixed up, which was organized in 24 clubs spread throughout France from March to September 2024. At the end of the final bringing together the 24 duos, 4 teams had obtained their ticket for the Grand Final for a dream stay at the Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa.
Two days of intense competition.
The four teams played a six-hole match against each of their three opponents. At the end of this first day, the ranking determined the pairs qualified for the Super Final and the Petite Final. This first round delivered a fairly clear verdict: the Marivaux duo (Olivier Delfosse and Jérémy Hayet) won all three of their matches to qualify comfortably ahead of the mixed team from UGolf Metz Cherisey (Sophie and François-Xavier Lucas), who recorded one victory and one draw.
Behind them, Haute-Auvergne (Arnaud Bousquet and Benjamin Thivolard) finished third with two draws ahead of Bourbon (Dany Bonadio and Philippe Bousseau) who collected a draw.
On the second day, it was Haute-Auvergne who took the upper hand over Bourbon to win the Petite Finale with a victory (2 up) and two draws.
Following his first round without a hitch, Marivaux won the Super Final in 2 matches, after a first clear victory (3 & 1) the second (2 up) came on the 12th green. For fun, the 4 duos, Antoine Schwartz, our sponsor and Rémi Sabarros, representing our title sponsor, engaged in a playful “nearest to the pin” on hole n°17, a small idyllic par 3 located on the edge of the lagoon but with a strong wind at their backs. It was Olivier Delfosse, the leader of the winning duo, who carried off this challenge with no stakes in good spirits.

A dream Grand Final in Mauritius
The Indian Ocean island is a particularly popular destination for golfers. It boasts a total of 13 exceptional courses. But it was at the magnificent Dinarobin Beachcomber Resort & Spa and on the Paradis Golf Club course that the Grand Finalists had the pleasure of battling for victory.
To complete this exceptional experience, golfers had the pleasure of sharing their passion with Antoine Schwartz. The former professional putting specialist is the event’s patron. He shared his talent and expertise with participants during two clinics, focusing on the long game on the first day and putting on the second day.
The event is supported by the Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels chain, the title sponsor of the event, and the Mauritius Tourism Board, thanks to whom the stay in a Junior Suite was fully offered to the competitors, as well as wonderful dinners in a dream setting.
Many other partners supported the operation throughout the year: Callaway Golf, Le Figaro Golf, Golf Magazine, Fairways Mag and Swing-féminin.com, Jucad, Izipizi, Dermaswing.
