years old they come out of college they’re trying to make it on tour and they play in these tournaments so Oh yeah there’s cash prize it was 86 yeah I saw that on the list you get a reprieve that’s a first for me i’m not thrilled about it i forget who I was just talking to as an athlete in another sport i literally cannot picture if I can remember but I can’t remember who it was do they want to ask you that question i embarrass myself every time around it’s the best story of all time it’s pretty pathetic pretty embarrassing oh Ricky Gabby you’re then asking Keegan yep and then you’re setting us up okay that to young amateurs trying to come up on the PJ tour my question is what would you give another amateur who’s in your same position once what would you give them as a piece of advice well I think I always tell people that that you have to work extremely hard because everybody out here is already super talented i never felt like I was talented enough to just play out here i always felt like I had to try to outwork everybody and growing up in the Northeast we had such a a short year that I had to optimize every second I had in the summertime and so I always tell people you have to work as hard as as hard as you can because somebody else is out there doing that that’s true great great answer all right time for the contest Ricky 80 yards what’s the strategy uh stay dry stay dry all right 80 yards 80 yard how many shots are we giving everyone two three you have three shots three i think alternate yeah let’s alternate we’ll go one by one ah you should get a chance to get hot though no wait wait wait he’s going to do all three right at a time do you want just like cuz you just give him a chance to get hot you know all right all three but I also feel like if you miss all three miss all three you have to jump in the lake oh that was good though oh he walked on water there it is oh that was so good split those two shots [Music] okay luggage first oh my gosh you want I did hit it on the green earlier hey hey hey but here’s here’s the issue as we were talking about earlier you know how Keegan was telling the story of how he can never talk properly in front of Tom Brady nervous i played in multiple I’m here at the Travelers Championship with some of the best players in the world and I’ve got two of them right here Keegan Bradley and Ricky Fowler we’re going to do it close to the pin challenge with a twist which I haven’t told you guys yet we’re going to do what I like to call the slingshot swing which is where you’re going to put the club right here on your shoulder turn extend and hit the shot see who gets closest you okay with that i’m okay with it all right let’s try have you ever done this swing before i feel like you’ll figure it out okay all right all right perfect perfect [Music] sit down i think you need to sit down i really think I got a club down where’s my 54 i’m like really crushing it well I tried that earlier didn’t work out oh my gosh oh that sounded really good that’s the tough thing also if you’re doing not a full swing i think it’s hard to figure out every Got it perfect oh my gosh oh well you hit it that was really good one foot that was really good excellent so it’s up up turn turn and you’re golden the sequencing was the sequence you could slow it down you could slow it down look as bad as it comes it was just a little quick can’t even yeah lay it there you go okay skip works hey it hit it you guys both hit it that was good that was really good awesome perfect that’s all I need right should be good outside [Music]
