Stop hitting down with your driver. It’s killing your distance and confidence.

Most amateur golfers are taught to “hit down” on every club – but that’s the #1 distance killer with your driver. I see it destroy confidence on the first tee every single day.

Here’s how to finally hit up on the ball and unlock real driver distance:

1. Set up with the ball off your lead heel 🎯
2. Keep 60% of your weight on your back foot through impact
3. Make a full body turn – shoulders, hips, everything rotates
4. Feel like you’re sweeping the ball off a high tee
5. Trust the big body movement – no steering or guiding

When you stop trying to “hit down” and start hitting up through impact, you’ll see higher launches, less spin, and way more distance. This is the key to driver confidence.

back we don’t want to hit a driver with the club moving downwards so move the ball position up into your left heel or lead heel try and make a golf swing and keep your body weight on your back foot a little bit longer that’ll help you hit the driver on the way up make sure you’ve got a lot of rotation big body movements
