Alex Hunter details some of his favorite finishing position golf prop bets for the Rocket Classic at Detroit Golf Club.

The Rocket Classic will be played at Detroit Golf Club (par 72, 7,370 yards, bentgrass/POA annua greens) this week, which has been the home of the Rocket Classic since the event was added to the PGA TOUR schedule in 2019. There will be 156 golfers competing this week and standard top-65 and ties cut following the first two rounds.

Below, I have featured some finishing position bets to consider for the Rocket Classic.

Wallace has finished inside the top-12 in two of his four starts at Detroit Golf Club and the Englishman is coming off a T23 finish at the U.S. Open, in which he gained strokes on approach and with his putter at the challenging Oakmont Country Club. When excluding his first round withdrawal from THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson last month, Wallace has finished T26th or better in five of his last six solo starts.

Wallace leads the entire PGA TOUR in SG ARG this season, which sets him up well for Detroit Golf Club. With this Donald Ross designed track featuring small putting surfaces, being crafty around the greens at Detroit Golf Club is important, as for four years running, the winner of the Rocket Classic has finished the event top-15 in SG ARG. Wallace should thrive this week and is a fantastic bet for a top-30 finish at this +140 price.

Rozner is playing excellent golf right now and he is a great bet for a top-40 finish at these +140 odds. The 32-year-old has been very consistent, making 10 straight cuts as an individual and he has finished T33rd, T13th, T34th and T24th in his last four solo starts. Rozner gained strokes on approach at each of these last four events and he ranks 17th in the category this season.

Plus, Rozner has shot under par in 10 of his past 12 rounds, including an 8-under 63 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson last month, which was one stroke away from tying his career-low on the PGA TOUR. Rozner has never competed at Detroit Golf Club before, but he has the tools to succeed at this easy course that has a -22.3 average winning score since becoming the host of the Rocket Classic in 2019. The French professional has yet to win on the PGA TOUR, but in his two victories on the European Tour, Rozner finished -25 and -19.
