bobby Whit and the Royals might be back on track after sweeping the Texas Rangers this past week while Manny Machado and the Padres’s are coming off an emotional series against the Dodgers they’ve lost seven of 10 but will last nice win spark a turnaround for them and as we’re getting ready to watch Nick Pavetta make his 15th start of the season he loves pitching at Petco this is a fantastic pitcher ballpark so he he really trusts his defense jonathan India steps into the righty batter’s box to lead off tonight’s game grounded to third base manny’s got it near the line gets rid of it quickly from foul ground and in time to get India welcome home Manny Machado manny Machado with a sparkling play to start the night bobby is seven for his last 15 nearly 500 over his last four games three doubles a homer he’s scored six runs in that span as well and Whit drills one deep left field wave back there and gone bobby Wit turns on one and puts the Royals up one- nothing he got a hanging curveball and he hammered it he continues to rake yeah Bobby baseball 10th homer of the season he’s He’s gearing up he’s telling the boys “Get on my back let’s go.” Base is empty two outs for Vinnie Pascantino and Pasquantino lifts one to center wade charges makes the call and the catch on the run bobby Wit Jr with a solo shot as the Royals up one- nothing early big ovation for Fernando here in the bottom of the first inning everybody obviously very relieved that he’s able to go here tonight and so Michael Lorenzan takes the mount his 15th start of the season he enters with a 491 ERA and he’s out in front of the off speed stuff from Lorenzan for the first out nobody on for Manny first pitch grounder right back to Lorenzan and it’ll be a one two three first for Lorenzan and the Royals jack Kagleon steps to the plate as a major league player with two career home runs they both came yesterday against the Rangers in Texas kagleion smacks one into the right field corner and that’ll dribble all the way to the wall he’ll dig for two and get in there standing up 109 mph off the bat and he’s in a scoring position now for Freddy Ferine and for me lifts one towards the gap dying fast and allowing Sheets to track it down on the run but it feels to me like Gavin Sheets has gotten more and more comfortable out in left field the more playing time that he’s got brings up Nick Loftton loftton to left field in the air sheets makes the catch a terrific catch from Gavin Sheets and that just saved a run two really good plays from Sheets in left field and that ends the top of the second inning jack Kagleong gets stranded at second 3-1 is inside ball four so Tyler Wade draws a one out walk here in the bottom of the third inning and now speed aboard as the order turns over for Fernando go look out gets to the back stop and Wade will get to second but Tatis a day after getting plunked hits the deck here michael Lorenzan hears it from the San Diego fans but it appears to be no harm no foul now that’s not called a strike mark Ripper behind the plate unimpressed puts two men aboard for Luis Arise luis Arise pops this up to shallow right kagleó coming in not a natural outfielder but trying to learn the position on the fly makes the catch that’ll bring up the dangerous Manny Machado who’s having another big season this veteran comes home and Machado grounds one to third cut off by Garcia to end the inning for the Padres’s unable to scratch across a run as we’ve completed three top of the fourth inning for the Royals now mike El Garcia leads off he struck out his first time he faces Nick Paveta righty Garcia line drive single to left to lead off the fourth and that brings up Vinnie Pasquantino there’s a base hit to right for Pasquantino it’s backto-back hits for the Royals to start the fourth two on and one out for Kagleon double steal throw to third plenty of time to nail Garcia now 6 for 23 for Diaz really good yet the open side with Kagleon as a left-hander so it’s a much easier throw for a catcher just a late break from Garcia kagleó bouncing ball first base side arise goggles it up jogs to the bag and ends the inning nick Paveta having trouble locating the strike zone it’s a four pitch walk to Nick Loftton backto back walks to start the fifth inning and the Royals are set up runners on first and second nobody out and now Kyle Isbel steps to the plate and it would be shocking if he didn’t bunt the pitch isbel squares drops the bunt down right back in the mound pavetta scoops it up only play to first he makes it with Cronin worth covering is Bell’s out successful sacrifice two in scoring position with one away for Jonathan India as Pavetta comes home and it’s launched to left field by India back to the track to the wall gone a three-run homer from Jonathan India that was loud it’s 4 nothing Royals in the top of the fifth inning a 43 ft shot just the third time the Royals have hit a three-run homer this season trenton Brooks leads off the bottom of the fifth inning there’s a hard hit ball fair up the right field line trenton Brooks with a rocket that kicks out of the corner he’s at second took a peek over his shoulder after losing his helmet decided to stay put there it’s a leadoff double and a rocket at that from Trenton Brooks his first career big league double one down in the bottom of the fifth number nine hitter Tyler Lee coming wade shoots this the other way backhanded stopped by W dribbles way brooks stays put at second the ball hit in his direction and so Wade is aboard the Padres’s have two on and one out and here comes trouble with Tatis tatis shoots this up the middle isbel dives and makes the catch put a star next to that one robbing Tatis of a hit and potentially the first run of the game for San Diego and now two down it’ll be left up to a puts this into right for a base hit brooks around third to score and the Padres’s are on the board one out nobody on xander singled in the second inning and has also drawn a walk so he’s still officially six for his last six and Bogart shoots it to right to win the battle second hit for Xander tonight and now it’s Jake Croninorth left-handed hitter to face Serpa who’s been on a roll croninworth rolls it up the middle for a base hit bogarts around second and he goes first to third to set up the Padres’s with runners at the corners and one out running worth at first bogarts at third one out and off the bench Jos Glacius has picked up a bat to pinch in for San Diego and Glacius to right field a base hits bogarts comes home cronorth stops at second the Glacia stops a big over streak and he knocks in a run as a pinch hitter to make it 4 to2 and he knocks in a run as a pinch hitter to make it four to two and now two on and two out for Gavin Sheets sheets up the middle base hits arise in to score here comes Machado and the game is tied bogarts bounces one through the right side for a base hit to keep the rally going the throw not in time xander Bogarts is now eight for his last eight and the Royals have a golden opportunity to take the lead in the top of the eighth inning runners on first and second nobody out salvador Perez at the plate and he muscles one into left field for a base hit they’re giving the green light to Garcia to come home the throw is off line and Kansas City retakes the lead and Drew Waters steps to the plate for the first time tonight and Waters lines one to right for a base hit an insurance run for Kansas City and he won out of four to the double in a run score machado to right field pretty deep way back gone San Diego within one one out on here is popped up off the hands tobert is there two go popped up by Croninworth in the infield garcia off third and the Royals are back at 500

  1. So far I haven't heard any announcer pronounce "Gaglianone" right.

It's definitely not "Gaglione" come on guys a little effort here, there are a couple more letters in his name you can do it.

  2. 人間性、野球人として質の悪いパドレス。大谷があんなことになってるのに黙認するダルビッシュも松井も同類。そのまま復帰しなくていいよ。

  3. Congrats Tatis 🎂🎂🎂
The pitcher who threw the head danger pitch to you today was a former Angels pitcher who was friends with Otani ♥
Maldonado was so scared by it that he shut down his Instagram comments and is a coward for not even showing up to the game🤣🤣🤣

  4. Im soo reliefed Tattis is playing again. Someone in the Dodgers team must have lit up a candle for him. Im sooo relieved 😂😂😂 Cant imagine what Machado would have done in retaliation 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  5. I was watching a podcast and someone wondered if the Padres plunking Shohei twice on purpose might upset Japanese Fans…😅 The comments on this video speak for themselves.

  6. Do the padres fans not realize that when you hit a solo home run when down by 2 in the 9th inning, that that is effectively the same thing as hitting a double

  7. とりあえずパドレスは日本人を敵に回した。そしてアメリカ人はそれに気付いたようだ。

  8. The Padres are perceived by some as an annoying team, and some of their players have been accused of dirty play. Their uniforms are also considered by some to be ridiculous.

  9. According to the savant chart, the 100mph ball was heading towards Shohei's head.
Suarez has had no hit by pitch in the last three years and has good control, so it's highly likely that he was seriously trying to kill him…

I think that an investigation is needed, including from manager Shildt and catcher Maldonado.

  10. Sat evening game. Padres gave NO LIFE IN THEM!!!!!! First inning, machados pop up swing: the worst effort I’ve seen in a LONG time!!!!

Padres should watch COLLEGE WS to see what effort and energy is.

  11. ヤンキースでもドジャースでもないのに再生数が多い。
    みんなパドレスの今後が気になるのね。

  12. Royals are struggling with the better MLB pitching this season. Good win, but down 5-1 6/21/25 in the 8th inning tonight. So little run support that I don't think this season will end well for the Royals. That's my Royal fan take.

  13. As a Yankees fan, I find it surprising there's a fanbase more insufferable than ours, that they brigade the comments section of a game the dodgers didn't even play in. It's amazing how soft you all are, how many hit-by-pitches did Dodgers pitchers commit this month alone?
