  1. Truer words have never been spoken. Smooth tempo is all it takes. I swing right around 100mph with a smooth swing, and find the center of the club face 95% of the time. It leads to consistent fairway finders that carry 250ish. When I try to get extra and find that 110-115mph range, it completely changes my rhythm, and often leads to slices or pulls and a lot of missed fairways. It’s not at all worth it to try to get a little extra. You may gain 10-20 yards, but you’re also losing 20% of your accuracy. I play scratch golf when I don’t prioritize maximum distance off the tee. I start more holes with hybrids and woods than I do with my driver. Driver is rarely necessary on most holes, and maximizing speed is never necessary in any hole.

  2. lets be realistic here, shes swinging pretty hard for her size, its just that bc everything is in sync, the swing looks very smooth and not fast, but trust me she is swinging as hard as she can.

  3. If she had a bit more speed though, it would help her actually compete. Shes pretty much an influencer at this point.

  4. @lilymhe has a fantastic swing and even better short game. There is a common misconception that because the LPGA tour players don't hit it as far as the PGA players that they have tremendous short games. I've been following both tours for ~50 years and with only a few exceptions the LPGA players don't have short games comparable to the PGA players. @lilymhe is one of those exceptions.
