well we expected drama on day three of the New Zealand open presented by sky sport at the mbrook resort in New Zealand South Island and we certainly got it it was a congested leaderboard at the start of the day and remains that way at the completion of round three here in snyman from South Africa Bird’s the 18th brilliant Hong Kong youngster ta Chico hit his second to the power five 14th managed to find the top level and two- puted for birdie long hitting Japanese star Hatachi would also Birdie the same hole soon after a new a few new zealanders are in the mix but their hopes currently align with Josh Gary he birdi from behind the green at the 15th joint third round leader Matt Griffin got his round off to a brilliant start here he hits his second to the first at the 16th he had this tremendously difficult Pat across the green and across the ridge for and yet another birdie go go but on the same hole soon after second round leader Scott H hit the perfect approach which stopped on the top of the Ridge and feared down into the hole for an eagle to get to 13 under power after what had been a fly slow round to that point he was forced to lay up at the power five 17th and this was his third to set up yet another birdie for the day [Applause] oh
