if you boil an egg for 2 minutes it will remain almost raw after 4 minutes the yolk will still be runny if you boil it for 6 minutes it will start to thicken but will still be fluid however after 8 minutes the consistency will change and the inside will become noticeably firmer after 10 minutes the egg will be fully cooked like if this was helpful
