thank you Amanda yes we’re pleased to have with us Russell Henley who matched his career low round today with 61 you’ve already won a signature event this year Russell and so many things went well today what are you most proud of um well I just put it really well i hit it really well i kind of did everything really well i feel like I played about the same as the last couple days and the really tricky wind um I had a couple things go my way on like number four I somehow made birdie don’t know how I did that and uh 14 had a great save after a terrible wedge shot other than that it was a really solid round hit a lot of great shots and hopefully can continue doing that well there are many highlights to save her let’s go through them you help us here yeah uh 115 little into the wind just trying to fly down a gap wedge and just trying to fly to the hole and keep it right of it there that you don’t want to be left to that pin and feel like I had a a nice butt there too this is a way to get around started here here we go at two now yeah just a chip chip gap wedge uh about 97 yards and um just want to keep it under the wind it was kind of in the left and uh hit a great shot there 12 was the hardest hole on the course today but you conquered it yeah I I kind of laid way back hit a hybrid and uh nine iron and just try to keep it on the fat side of the hole again um did a great throughwood to this spot this is always really slow up that hill and uh just took the uh worried about the leading edge out of it there led the birdie at 15 and then you knocked it close at the 18 yeah played a solid hole down the middle nice little ledge and um yeah just just yeah and hit it well today so thank you russell I had the chance as you look at the card here to to tell the audience earlier about you calling a penalty on yourself yesterday so you added one at the end you said the ball moved over I believe on the eighth hole no one saw it the PGA Tour staff had no video evidence of it tell us what happened there yeah I was in the thick rough left to the green um had a terrible shot to that spot and as I was taking the club back I noticed the ball moved about a dimple and um went through it with the officials and just kind of tried to understand the rule a little bit better about how that works and you know you have to be completely certain that it moved and I was and so uh called it and moved on it was definitely stung to to hit a great pitch there and actually make make par but then right down to four on the card but uh moved moved right along and just try to keep keep um keep grinding it’s another testament to what this game is all about yeah it was a good it was a good teaching opportunity for my son who was watching so it’s good there you go and I know you slept well last night i did and I’m sure you did Russell good luck tomorrow man thanks always appreciate you and that round of 61 again folks there’s only been one lower round the entire year on the tour and that belonged to Jake Knap down in Florida so great playing by Russell Henley
