Is golf the most humbling sport where the average golfer is bad but we still get excited for that morning tee time?

My last outing I shot a 104, 52/52. Nothing over a triple bogey, only one 8 on a par 5, which I’m sure is considered a blow up hole for you experts out there. But for me it was a decent and consistent round. The other players I play with are around the same level and get mad at double bogeys. I’m pretty satisfied with a double, happy with a single, stoked for par, amazed at a birdie, and my one eagle, well, I still tell my wife about it every morning. I’ve broken 100 before and I hope to this weekend!

And here’s me not even bothering to keep score most of the time, I just enjoy hitting balls yo.

Jokes on you, I shot my worst 9 since July Friday morning…then did it again on the back 9!

As long as you play fast and have a good time who cares what you shoot?

  6. We’re supposed to keep track of the shots?! 😬

  7. Driving to the golf course brings me the same feeling I had as a kid being on the way to an amusement park.
