in my hand I have got the very very best value laser rangefinder in golf that I have ever come across And I cannot even tell you the price of this because I genuinely when I unbox this to have a look at it for the first time It was a laser that was sent for me to do a review on I must be hundred pounds out on what I thought it were going to cost Probably more I went on website to see how much they’re costing and I didn’t tell you because I don’t know whether it’s a mistake or whether it’s a flash sale Uh but obviously with this being a review and it might get viewed you know tomorrow or it might get viewed in a year’s time I don’t want to quote that price I’m going to stick the link in the description below for you to go and check the current price out But if it’s the price that I saw on the website this is an absolute steal We’re going to unbox it We’re going to have a look at it We’re going to test some of the features Um yeah and share a little bit about this laser And I’ve tested 20 30 lasers budget lasers and this one literally blows them out of the park So let’s unbox this laser What I’ve said is the very best laser I’ve ever tested And I swear I don’t set things like that unless I really mean it So we’ve got in there a charging cable a little bit of a cloth to clean it with It’s got your sort of black sort of zip case with a clip on it which I’m a bit of a simple person and I don’t like loads of sort of graphics and detail so that suits me But this is the unit the Sigman CT00 which it looks like it’s got a bit of an LCD display power button and then a settings button And we’re going to test this laser and I’m going to tell you why It’s the very best laser I’ve ever tested And uh for value for money like I said I just cannot quote that price but I’m going to stick the link in the description below for you to have a look because it’s blown me away You eagle eyes might have spotted they were at Caris Green the home of the golf mates And we’ve got 124 yards on this opening hole which is spectacular Look at that for an opening par three And these greens I don’t think I’ve seen it better greens all week Right So the challenge is to shoot level par in these four rolls after having a lesson on the road with a PJ Pro helped my swing It looks like I might miss that one left Right club I’m definitely blaming that miscreen on Liam’s drone coming in and landing on on putting green at side of us See you later See you later Liam See you later Jokes aside what a lovely person Liam is First time I’ve met him and he’s gone above and beyond to sort of come and say hello have a chat with us Um and never met him before Obviously seen his channel The Golf Mates Lovely bloke Steady steady Uncle Jeff got himself in a bit of trouble Tried to put it Tell you what it’s not a bad option that Cheers First things first let’s talk about the LCD display which I think just makes everything a lot clearer and more simple which gives you the distance to the middle of the green Once you’ve zapped on target for me that additional feature that LCD display made me think this is going to be sort of 150 to200 pound you know really sort of premium price laser especially because I’ve tested it younger brother the CT800 which retailed at the time at £79.99 and I said one of the best lasers I’ve tested So when I got hold of the bigger brother I was thinking you know this has got to be somewhere above 150 in retail And let’s just say I got that very wrong So we’re playing the odd holes because this is a very oddly priced rangefinder and we’ve got 159 yards to pin So we’re going to hit an eight iron Little bit of wind off the back That’s looking good If it’s the right length So if you watch my channel you’ll know I’m struggling with my vision Um I’ve got glasses prescribed for but I just can’t play in glasses And one of the things I really love about this laser and I’m going to try to do this James Robinson’s good at doing this is showing you through the lens when you press the button It’s very bold writing but very sharp writing as well I know some of these sort of budget lasers um are very thin you know it’s very like thin and not very bright you know when you look through the screen but the clarity when you you get a target it’s just everything’s there for you And the the vibration button it’s like it will proper jolt you Cheers Thank you So fifth full stroke to 330 yards into the wind I can see why it’s stroke two though It’s pretty tight And there’s a pond or a ditch sort of at 216 yards starting on the left hand side So I’m going to hit a free end off the tea into the wind which means that we uh we shouldn’t get to it Get down Get down Just show Good job I lasered it How many people would have hit a three iron on a 330 yard par four foot And don’t lie would you have checked this hazard to see how far it were and hit a three or a four iron So we’ve got 140 yards in That’s why he stroke two God sick Now that is a bad shot That is a bad shot Laser card What about that Not a good place to miss in this Sit down Misread We have to birdie the last aren’t we A couple of features that don’t usually come standard with a budget laser are the magnetic hold and also the zoom So this laser claims to have a range of up to 1,333 yards So we’re going to put it to the test We’ve got a couple of sort of buildings over there The first building on the left hand side’s 574 yards The second one 632 yards They look miles away I thought they’d be absolutely like out of range for this laser So it just shows you how far I mean they’re the length of a par five aren’t they So we’ll just measure these houses These look to be a little bit further away We’ve got the one there at 610 yards Let’s go a little bit higher up the banking 760 yards Can we go a bit more Oh excuse me The woman just getting out of shower 911 yards I can’t do any more I can’t get to 1333 yards But it’s one click and boom you’ve got your distance Easy Seven full 261 yards And if you’re wondering why we’re playing odd holes it’s just simply pace of play So we’re not filming on every hole and we can keep up with pace That ditch is a layup You need to be in it less than 200 yards It’s about 230 So I’m going to hit a five iron which should leave a short iron in And we need a bird to finish level like we said we were going to try and do Yeah that’s good That’s set us up We’ve got a chance If we just have another look at the actual device It’s quite a small unit one that you can get in your hand A lot smaller than some of the other budget ones that I’ve tested And you’ve got this sort of like waterproof feature for the buttons They’re quite nice little robust you know thick buttons And nice and pleasing when you press I know that sounds silly but they don’t it don’t feel cheap It feels robust and well made Yeah I like that Get in the comments What do you think I mean I’ve had it in my pocket I’ve been walking you know down fairly in my pocket and it’s not bothered me even it shots with it there It’s not sort of too big that you can’t just keep it in your pocket Right This is a high pressure shot now cuz the guys have walked on a little bit So I’ve got a bit of a gallery It’s 70 yards So I’m going to need to carry it around about 60 Be the distance Be the distance Sit Sit Sit Sit Ah I’m going to have a put that one Oh I thought it were going to come in A bit of a misread Well it’s a little bit better than when I were in Scotland We’re still on the men Not fully fixed So one of the things I really do love about this is the slope feature If we just point at the top of this hill because this is quite a flat course it tells you the distance which is 371 yards Then it also tells the playing distance which is 392 which I think for a lot of people can really help them select the right club That were the Sigman CT00 And when I say something’s the best in its category I mean it This is going to be used now as a comparison for any new budget lasers that come across our hands and it’s going to be tough to beat And all I’m going to say is have a guess at what you think it’s worth based off what you’ve seen today and go and check the price on the website So I don’t think you’re going to get anywhere near it For more bargains hit the subscribe button and we’ll see you in a few days time Bye

  1. Gary been using a Cigman CT 800Y for over a year. It's been faultless. I payed from recollection £45.00 for it and I prefer it to my bushnell which was in excess of £200.00. Simple easy and no replacement batteries required. Simply recharge it every 4-5 months.

  2. I've used a Bushnell v2 for, well how long have they been out . Anyway. Like mine ,why do you have the range of over 1000 yards ,when in reality, the mist you'll ever need is 300/400 yards max . Mind you Gaz. Wouldn't be able to see into bathrooms then 😂😂😂👍

  3. £66 with a 10% discount offered? Madness. Unfortunately wearing glasses rangefinders are useless for me

  4. I play in glasses and wear varifocals, so went to my optician and they set me up with Oakley sports glasses, varifocal and reactalite lenses, not cheap but I now play golf without any issue wearing glasses

  5. I bought one from Amazon in May and it has worked flawlessly. It gave the same yardages as a friends Bushnell. Very happy with the purchase. With tax and Promo coupon it was $56.27.

  6. I just ordered one and after coupon I went to check out and it gave me a gift card on top of things so I got it for $0. Crazy! Must be some kind of mistake for sure but I guess we will see. Supposed to be here Tuesday

  7. We need a budget range finder that has a built in stabilizer that isn't 400$ anyone have the link or product that does that?

  8. I’ve been tempted with one for a while. Is £51 a good deal for a high handicapper?!

I’ve a S62 watch which does my distances but always fancied a range finder for things like seeing how far certain obstacles are / carries over bits of water etc…

  9. Very impressive course and looks to be in great condition. The new features included in the vid description such as "⛳ What’s in the video" time stamps is really a nice touch. Well done.

  10. Ive always used an app for my range, because I thought range finders were too expensive. $110 AUD with your code and free shipping. I can't not try this out
