you’re exactly right the landing area looks so small from back here one-handed finish oh now watch this one lexi Thompson earlier today the wind blowing at that point this her second at five on a day where there weren’t a ton of highlights cuz it was hard to get it to the hole lexi with this dart at the fifth and to stop it once she got it at the hole made that on the LPJ tour this year even par right now looking to get one here and it’s an early birdie for Lexi Thompson out in a group alongside Yukaso and Yimi No who had one of the best rounds in the afternoon over to 16 and this is Hang on the T she’s got the lowest round on the leaderboard right now of those players that are out on the golf course in the morning wave very straight par4 really very much a second shot hole over at 16 this is Miyang Lee for par oh well done just a moment ago at the ninth the fourth shot for Lindy Duncan player who thrilled us at the Chevron Championship earlier this year oh one way to secure the par there at the par five so lead to get it up and down for a get under par for the championship well done but on the right side they’ve got about 25 paces of depth so to your point carry over that front edge you got a little bit of room and it’s so hard to make yourself do it when you’re just going in with such a short wedge oh just pitched it on the top of the bunker okay that landed really soft because it landed in the rough aggressive well we have the again we have the privilege of seeing this and anybody that’s got the afternoon and their students are able to utilize AI powered analytics so what a wonderful facility that is as we join Gabby Ruffles for birdie at 16 what a beauty she curls in from the right hand side and that is her third straight birdie fourth of the day you get some rain delays in those spots as well to take a little break lexi and this is going on a bit of a draw left side is much more difficult paige yeah I was going to say the easier to approach onto the screen from the right yes and just the second player to reach this green today and stay on the green Gabby Lopez reached it earlier today that is tremendous so this should be more on the right half of the hole oh very very confident too as well as soon as she set her putter down immediately took it back she Yeah not easy with that long wand well done okay so good group there Lexi and Yulimo for the first time in the KPMG women’s PGA this is the T at seventh ring in let’s see if she’s got the length to run it up there on the correct line this right side of the green if it can get up that hill well done she will have a putt for an eagle fantastic gabby’s looking to save par and keep her round three under for the day exactly she’s putting from just underneath the hole oh that looked good the whole way k sure did what a save beautifully done remember this that hole with the pin on the far right side oh that should get some help off the ridge very few players able to get it close into this hole today one of those players kind of around that cut line and the Bley will help gets her back to four over par champion of this when you’re in this position you think okay just walk off of here with a bogey sometimes just accepting that bogey is a is is a good thing in majors this from 43 ft acceptance just make that that was awesome now Yuka who just watched Lexi drain the long one let me know sets up a great birdie look to get to two under par it isn’t until the ball gets up around the green that it will be affected by that wind lexi from 148 yds working on the fade oh that was lovely well done that’s from 11 ft and in well done all of a sudden Lexi Thompson just won back i think she has to try and keep this a little down because if she can balloon this up in the air it’s straightforward from here Tom don’t see a huge amount in this just a tremendous five to get it to here good birdie and Austin Kim for birdie she said she really struggled in the heat yesterday afternoon kind of the hardest part of playing well was playing alongside Ginyong we just saw her withdraw and yes so Charlie gets that to drop battling away to try and make the weekend here just to get it to four over yeah she’s lived in this area for about a year now moved to Dallas in the summer of 2024 as we head over to the 10th and find Jasmine Suapora just beginning her round 30-year-old from Thailand went around and even yesterday and that’s a beauty to hold your first of the day for birdie alexi would be delighted to get in one hole to play hannah Green away with her third at 14 oh an eagle at the par five from the Aussie in the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Champion yeah that deserves a fist pump and a big smile what a way to bounce back from uh well bogey double the last two holes yeah very good T- shot there from Rolling she’s been working hard on the alignment of her putting and worked out pretty well there so she’s back to three over pass see if she can get a little closer than Nelly did great shot that’s what Nelly was going for wasn’t it yeah she hit the mark but uh anyway got a little farther from the hole than you might have thought but it’s also underneath the hole as impressive as 200 feet were um just as impressive that that gained seven strokes on the field beauty and she moves a stroke ahead i don’t know if you can see those black birds just short of the green but I’m assuming that’s where she’s going to be aiming awesome shot oh good shot if memory serves me didn’t she just go over the back yesterday um I’m not sure that’s been so valuable this week so far this one is definitely high Judy and this is a pitching wedge oh it works it works for sure jireina Charlie by the way shot 69 today the only round in the 60s let’s go to four off the tea 133 today collocation all the way what a great shot the right side of that green beautiful i’d say looking to take this to the left side of the green oh this is pretty aggressive line actually and how softly did that land right there K wow it’s going to keep coming back down the slope a little bit as well what a shot set the par five third remember there are two par fives in the first three holes here at Fields Ranch East lucy Lee oh lovely there so she will have a P to get it to three over kenderson for the birdie talked yesterday about this club needing to work for Brook to get back into some good form there it is so Henderson back to level bar which is a good spot to be in nelli’s not too far away k paying attention three that is really impressive that tree on that hole panther Creek can go up six or seven feet up almost to the bridges so at the moment it’s dry but there is a reason that they are penalty areas out there gino now yeah that grip down wedge right on it really looked like she covered that nicely with her chest definitely something that she’s working on trying to be more aggressive all right somebody had to hold up the high standards of that group that we’ve come to expect gino nice birdie the long putter a little bit taller than Mi is but she did she Yeah that looks great Benji but Yimi really did not look comfortable standing over it at all one par five on the back nine yes mashita this for birdie at par five so another player under par for the two days of the championship to another par three the 17th robin Choy this is important this is a birdie putt eight over par we talked about that cup potentially being seven over that could be a game changer for Robin Choy pga he sets up the golf course what does he have up his sleeve start for Birdie even with a huge hop in the middle of that putt still finds the bottom of the cup tom it is and it’s something I think that you you have to overcome a little bit of a mental you know stigma by doing so but once you realize that the putts are going in it all disappears yeah ninji Lee just won off the lead here at the fourth par three which seems like a par four teada will it stay that is a sensational shot how softly that landed it doesn’t get any better than that it’s an eagle putt of the ninth for Ash Buhai this would get her to eight over par oh well it’s going to be one too many 17th Angel Yin for Birdie looks good from here tracking had a bit of pace i’m glad it went in it could have gone off the green i think Angel gets it back to one over pass certainly here at 18 nasa Toka must have missed this putt to the right got Nasa good save how they can play the ball along the ground now Teada’s second at five this is the firm green here let’s see how this ball reacts oh wow she pitched it in the perfect spot you just shouldn’t be doing that at the fifth that is a wonderful shot kind of a hard time in the round to have such a long wait you’re almost done you can lose your focus mentally that’s starting down the right side with the draw see if it runs down this hill trying not quite it’s going to be fine though she’s going to be chipping down the green a little fade with her driver but I think she needs a draw this is on a great line right side jump up to 14 the par five on her Munoz was traveling and trying to claw her way inside the cut at the par five 14th had trouble off the tee this a moment ago from 95 yds oh no more trouble gone taken care of that’s the way you make park works hard on her very hard at working out to gain strength she is extremely strong yeah expect to pour over and has great endurance oh birdie this would be the first of the day here on the sixth hole yes you can make birdie at the sixth three in a row how about that run pink grip nine iron that was lovely tempo maybe just have to try to hold it out is she going to get it to stop oh what a shot that’s what you do right there oh my you’re thinking birdie at least at this one eyes shot at seven oh she likes it Tom just going to trundle up to the right side of the green okay so that’s just fine she will uh be putting or chipping down the green to five under par gino Titakun the number two player in the world looking more and more like she’s going to take that lead into the weekend she’s had one previous 36 hole lead in a major not the first couple of days she was looking for yeah she doesn’t quite have the height either that some of the other players have but that landed in a perfect spot about as close to the front right edge as you can find shot of the day it is best one right there at eight well done that should be enough to see her in for the weekend so I go for birdie after the brilliant T-shot all right has an eight out the wind has dropped slightly this moment this is a pretty good looking strike yeah another good one just that little bit of drop in the go to the seventh and Jennifer Cupchure recent winner on the LPGA yeah one on that murky Sunday at the ShopRide LPGA Classic nice to see Jennifer back in the winter circle favoring the left edge going to come back a little bit curl back a little hey a nice break her way to end the day what a great chance to get to one over par and from Mi which is going to move to the left as well yeah someone in all of the last three groups has made birdie on this hole just made a huge difference the wind dying down a fraction 17th this has been an odd putt Tom it breaks a couple different ways tough to read she make it yes i’ve had a top five finish at the Shopright LPGA Classic a few weeks ago birdie 30 at eight is a real bonus
