hey everybody TJ here welcome back to Golf
Connection 801 we are in Utah i love this channel i love hanging out and having fun with
you guys and playing golf today we are going to be testing a Titalist Prov1 and we’re going to
get spin numbers for a pitching wedge 7iron 4 hybrid and a driver so I want you guys to see
maybe what my numbers are for spin qualities uh for carry distances explosiveness off the face
so anyway we’re going to be testing the Titus Prov1 let’s get right into it but before we do I
wanted to ask you guys a huge favor since we are a brand new channel if you guys would just hit that

to you and then like our content all right thanks guys let’s get right into testing the Prov1 we’re
going to be starting this off with uh one of my favorite clubs it’s a gap wedge and we’re going to
try to give 10 shots per club and of course we’re going to remove the shots that are kind of shanks
or fat ones so I’ll try to give 10 good ones boy that one was struck so good i don’t
think I can get a better strike than that one that was just money you’re so
You’re so money and you don’t even know i guess this video won’t have very much
talking sorry about that sorry about that man that’s four like super good balls oh first one that I pulled but you can see with
a little pull that thing flew like rocketed prov1 feels really good if you
guys notice what I’m doing with my feet I’ve adapted to the Ben Hogan style oh little push but I’ve moved my feet to the Ben
Hogan style um because it feels like I can be more consistent where my feet are placed oh first
shank we’ll get rid of that one i kind of could feel that one my balance was either off or just
wasn’t coming down through it boy those are great that one was a little high off the face but still
a really good strike spin numbers are pretty good all right what do we got there yep
that was 10 shots okay let’s switch to a seven iron so far the numbers look
pretty good you can kind of see it down in below that last shot was 8,400 spin
carried 123 total 125 that’s pretty good all right let’s switch to 7 iron and let’s
get going i never miss with the seven iron okay this is 7 iron we’re just going to
try to put them out there as best we can okay I kind of pulled that one a little
bit and it was off the toe a little bit but overall not terrible spin rate is
kind of low i probably didn’t compress it that was so pure i could not hit it
better than that one that’s probably the strike right there to be the be all end
all of strikes 5800 spin 189 total distance maybe we’ll hit it that good that good that one
was amazing too 55 spin 184 carry and 193 total that was a monster seven iron oh first shank
let’s get rid of that one and just so you guys know I’m playing the Callaway Apex wow you know
what that one wasn’t as bad as I thought cuz I mean but it came off the bottom of the club so
that’s just how forgiving these clubs are they’re kind of like a game improvement iron but they
have some forgiveness which is why I love them so pure so pure i mean I’ll play that
any day of the week 185 carry 195 total that one was off the bottom
of the club pretty far but not like super bad all right let’s
get like three or four more I think man those are so good i’ve got some tournaments
coming up this year if I can hit it like that all the time man I might drop my handicap
this year by a lot well if I can putt anyway oh that was chunky we’re going
to keep it in there uh you know what let’s get rid of that one
actually cuz it was pretty fat oh just as pure as pure could get
right there can’t hit it any better 79 carry 189 total so 10 yards of roll
out with this bo what do you guys think is that good on the numbers oh super fat
i can’t stop eating that one’s no good i need three more good shots i actually think on
future tests I mean this one’s good just to do it with the Prov1 to get a lot of data points
but I think to save on time and the amount of balls I have to hit I might bring this down to
like six or seven shots a piece for each club that one is so pure 5100 spin rate on that one what do you guys think for spin
rate on a seven iron 5100 decent little fat we’ll keep it i just kind
of clipped it right off the top of the face so I kind of went I went digging
uh I think it’s one more or two more little push okay with a push you get a little
more spin 6570 for spin okay that was it for the seven iron like I said I’m playing the
Apex Callaway clubs now we’re going to play Apex AI Smoke four hybrid can’t wait to get
to the driver that’s gonna be a good time all right so for hybrid like I said AI smoke this
is one of my favorite clubs um I just love how it feels i feel confident with it this is going
to be funny cuz watch me shank it the first shot nope so good 242 carry 257 total a
little fader on there oh it didn’t uh didn’t give me the club numbers that’s weird oh I wonder um it’s not giving
me the club speed smash factor or club path or face to path so
that’s interesting i wonder if it just can’t see this club for some
reason that’s okay we’ll keep going 238 car oh there we go 139 ball speed
3,400 spin rate what do you guys think for a 4 hybrid is that decent i’ve been
watching a lot of golf ball videos lately on spin rates and all sorts of stuff
i think that’s probably pretty decent oh I just can’t hit it better
than that 241 carry 266 total oh that one was straight out of the heel yuck
probably the worst ball strike on there but we’ll keep it yeah that’s probably my miss
right there on this club is right out of the bottom of the uh club face [Music] man
i just can’t do better than that that’s why I really love this club i actually think
that I’ll just hit this club and I think I’m going to take out my five hybrid and
three hybrid maybe three hybrid for sure my three hybrid i just hate it
i feel not confident behind it all right what do we got seven
of them okay we need three more good ones i’m actually shocked we’re
doing this good three more good ones you just can’t get better than that one so
if you guys can see 247 carry 269 total club head speed on that one was just shy of
100 ball speed 141 pretty efficient 1.4 42 smash factor that’s not bad you know we’re
all aiming for the magical 1.5 but I think you know with miss strikes and I’m not a pro
obviously so that’s probably not going to happen okay right out of the bottom kind of like I said
my miss little bit out of the bottom still not bad though i mean that’s definitely playable
oh that was terrible okay we got to take that one off that came like straight out of the
toe okay we just need one more good one one more good one then we can switch to the big dog
unamas let’s get one more good one oh my gosh that’s terrible yeah I’m just going to swing and
hit this one again and I’ll go delete that other one that was so bad i just need one more one
more peeps i just want it too bad I guess oh that’s a great way to end see what I did there
huh you see that 255 total we’re moving on to driver i have the Paradigm AI smoke driver
i don’t know if you guys can see that let me see what it looks like oh yeah that looks
good okay cool paradigm AI smoke driver so we’re switching to the big dog let’s find us
a T height that I like it’s probably this one uh seven might be too high let’s go with this
little yellow one okay it’s probably a little higher than what I would normally hit but we’ll
just see what it looks like let the big dog eat all right push that one a little bit i think uh
while I get my feet placement right then it would be good so that one had a lot of spin okay this
should draw or go down the pipe hopefully oh or I take it right off the top of the club face
okay we’re going to take that one off that was terrible yeah as you guys can already tell I don’t
hit the driver as well as I would like i mean we still got 250 but let’s bring the tea height down
this pink one I think is what I’ve used in the past in here oh that’s prime okay now we should
do a lot better change the tea do a lot better oh and it didn’t catch it no all right let’s uh see if it picks this
one up that one was one of my best drives that’s the bad part about this T you have to
go find it every time okay let’s see what we got 281 carry 302 total that was bombed 145 smash
factor 2600 spin rate i think that’s pretty decent oh those are so good i keep losing
the tea dude that’s Yeah that one was so good okay if I can stay consistent
with that consistency that’d be money yeah pretty good what do you
guys think smash factor on that was horrible but it went 297 total
i just can’t complain about that all of those have been in the fairway that
left one just barely but still good okay I’m warming up a lot like it’s getting hotter
in here that’s what happens in here though it gets warmer swing the driver get sweatier that
one’s good though so we’ve had five good ones 269 carry 284 total i mean it’s not as long as
the other ones but I mean you just can’t be mad when it’s a fairway finder i just can’t be mad
about that [Music] oh 308 you just can’t be mad about that this Prov1 is something else sheesh
what golf ball do you guys play drop it in the comments down below i’m just curious like are
you guys playing Kirkland Signatures do you pay for the overpriced Prov1 or do you think the
Prov1 is that good and you’ll pay that price oh jeez oh I broke the tea so that TE’s gone
let’s go with this red boy i have some T’s that I would use in here but they’re
um plastic and they’re super long so we’re not going to use those looks like we
need three more next testing videos we’re not going to have 10 each i just don’t think
it’s that useful and 10 is a lot for each club okay that one’s the first rough 280 304
and I shattered the T so that one’s gone oh that one’s long oh here we go 2600 spin so I
have a couple of the balls we’re going to test um today and one of them or
a couple of them are like ultra high spin so I wonder what it’ll
come out to be when we get the averages okay right off the Well I didn’t have a good
club path on that one still 285 fairway finder who is going to be upset about that nobody
okay one more and then I’m just going to try to pound just for fun oh that was off the We
got to delete that one so bad i think maybe I got excited about it i don’t know don’t
get penisy okay like I said one more good one i took that one like right off the bottom
of the face like it was never going to be good okay well let’s keep it all right what we have
see what we have here all 10 shots oh do you guys want to see me just go after one i’ll
try to swing through the fence on this one oh yeah 293 317 carry okay I’m gonna take that one out of the numbers otherwise it’ll
all be skewed but that was awesome all right okay like I said um I loved I loved the
feel of the Titus Prov1 it really does feel great off the face um if you guys haven’t tried a
Prov1 they’re amazing obviously that’s why they have so much hype and cost behind them i do
think that most people will get better with some type of Prov1 either the Prov1 or the Prov1X
they just do make a great golf ball there is a lot of consistency with their golf ball so
you know that the batch you buy is all going to feel the same there isn’t going to be one
in there that’s squishy or super firm and so I love the Prov1 anyway like I said I’ve
