🔥 Costco Kirkland Signature Player’s Irons back in stock (June 2025)!

🎥 In this video…

A quick update: Costco Kirkland Player’s irons are live again online (~$550) and spotted in some warehouses nationwide.

Lawsuit recap: TaylorMade sued Costco (Feb 2024), alleging they ripped off P790 patents: hollow-body, tungsten, urethane insert, and even named the former engineer behind it.

Same specs? So far it appears identical to the pre‑lawsuit release.

Key questions: Will Costco sell out fast? Is this the exact same iron design? Could the lawsuit still affect future production or availability? Give your thoughts in the comments.

they are back the Costco Kirkland Signature Players Iron Set is back on sale at Costco how long will they stay in stock for this time are they the same irons that Costco originally sold before the lawsuit with Tailor Made and what is the status of the lawsuit why can they start selling back in the US right now let’s get into it so as of right this moment recording this video on Junth June 19th 2025 this is cost.com and you can see the KIG players iron set it is back wild that we have gotten to a point where golfers looking for a great value and looking to rock the Costco brand on the course just like I am right now and I’ve been gaming this set for over a year now but here it is in regular flex and stiff flex notable the price is $50 more than what it was in December or January 2024 December 2023 whenever they first went back on sale but are they different well I’m looking at the photo the photo looks identical in fact it’s the identical photo as the first photo of the old listing for the Players Iron set i’ll see if I can pop that on the screen here on the side vertically but as far as I could tell everything is the same the photo here is the same and even this listing description is the same about being hosted by a third party let’s revisit the lawsuit for a minute this is the screenshot that I used in the original video that I did when Costco actually did get sued and you see the photos are exactly the same and by the way this is my first long- form YouTube video in a while i’ve been sticking with shorts because they’re a little easier to edit but if you would be so kind as to like and subscribe that will absolutely motivate me to continue to do more of these long form videos so getting into the text now here’s really the one big thing that you’re going to see different i’ve circled that phrase in the lawsuit now let’s go back to the website costco initially called it a urethane insert tailormaid said that is patently false and now you see the listing is updated to polymer inset that is the only difference that I see the shafts are the same the grips are the same the descriptions of the shafts and the grips are the same and the specs on the clubs are exactly the same as what they were doing before they were sued by Tailor Made so interesting to see how this has all worked out and what’s the the best theory that I have for you as to why the lawsuit kind of played out the way it did and Costco now selling them again this is for the United States right they have been selling them internationally i know that was probably important to note and somebody probably already commented and said they were for sale in the UK and Canada and they were but they were not for sale in the United States but here’s my theory pretty simple tailor Made came out with a brand new newly designed P790 iron i saw an ad for this during the US Open great tournament by the way love the carnage i think we get carnage one tournament a year is fine if you disagree with me please leave a comment but these irons look different they look different than the Costco irons and and different than the P790 irons of previous generations so I think something had to be worked out to where Tailor Made and Costco maybe came to an agreement and said “Okay when we come out with our new P790s then you can start selling yours again because they’re going to look totally different.” Bottom line does this mean the beef is officially over between Costco and Tailor Made is this lawsuit settled we don’t have official word on that costco could be going rogue you don’t know they have a history they got sued by Titist over the proves Kirkland Signature fourth piece ball they got sued by Tailor Made here once maybe they thought just changing the description to a polymer inset instead of a urethane insert and again that’s the only change that I spotted here on the listing maybe they think that’s enough to not have Tailor Made go through that that lawsuit or they could have again settled via arbitration out of court yada yada but I feel strongly that the new P790s came out and coincidentally the new irons came out and I love these irons i don’t know how quickly they’re going to stay in stock for i don’t know if they’re going to continue to manufacture them again questions we would love to find out but Costco really doesn’t reveal a lot of information as far as that goes so if you’re interested get them now you can always return them uh even if $50 more I find them a great value and I did have a hole out with the pitching wedge from about 125 yards out a few months ago uh so I continue to game these i did change the shafts in mine the 115 shaft a little too heavy anyway point being hope you enjoyed this video hope you learned something as iron sharpens iron so one golfer sharpens another and again would really appreciate a like a subscribe it’ll motivate me to continue to making these we’re on the journey to 1,000 subscribers and would love your help along the way take care

  1. Follow up questions: Will Costco sell out again? (Not sure, they may have a lot of sets they couldn’t sell in back stock). Is this really the exact same iron design? (I think so for the same reason.) Could the lawsuit still affect future production or availability? (Not sure. The lawsuit was filed almost 18 months ago, so I would think this is settled.)
