Before our round at the stunning Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, I surprised my dad with a brand new set of clubs. He had no idea—and his reaction made the entire day.

i got it yeah you did get it didn’t you this wasn’t just another round of golf it was a once in a-lifetime experience we’ve shared countless rounds over the years but this one was different more meaningful he’s on the dance floor because the truth is go get the ball these moments aren’t guaranteed every swing every laugh every view we were fully present soaking in every second of this unforgettable day today it was about legacy about connection and creating content that matters i’m serious okay now we’re good i’ll always cherish teeing it up with my dad and what blows my mind one day Allison and I’s kids future grandkids and even their kids will be able to watch this video and feel connected to their roots i surprised my dad with a bucket list round at the worldrenowned Cordelane Resort and a brand new premium set of golf clubs from Callaway and that reaction pure joy and honestly priceless this wasn’t just golf it was a gift a memory a story that will last and my dad golfing i know a lot of y’all probably grew up playing golf with your dad or your mom or somebody like that somebody special that’s what this is going to be for me i mean this is going to last forever my grandkids are going to be able to watch this my great-grandkids are going to be able to watch this and they’re going to be able to get to know kind of who my dad was so this one’s sentimental i hope you guys like it hope it makes you guys kind of think of playing golf with your dad your mom whoever and my friends over at Callaway have decided to give him a brand new set of Callaway golf clubs he has no idea the only problem he is in the living room right now and that is exactly where his golf bag that he brought up here is so we have to figure out a way to distract him get the new Callaway golf clubs put them in his old golf bag take all of his old golf clubs out and put them somewhere else before he sees it 12:22 okay perfect okay 1223 yeah do you want to change into that and then sorry I just hate the black sleeve the black sleeves with the blue i’m gonna take it off it’s just bad it’s just bad it’s just It’s just really not good so I’m going to start loading up our gloves okay Susan i mean Sean I know it’s just It’s a tough look i’m just saying [Music] so now we’re going to put take his old golf clothes out the best thing is he probably won’t notice until he goes to the range cuz he has these three head covers oh look at these look at these y’all brand new AI200 Apexes we’re going to have to work on the back but brand new 7wood because obviously you know he had to play seven wood get the grip on [Music] up you’ve seen me do that before people do this before so seems like this supposed to be be nice it would be nice okay these are these are not my clubs who’s got the apexes you do actually yeah so my friends at Callaway wanted to say happy Father’s Day to you and get you some brand new golf clubs here what yeah so yeah so you got brand new wedges three wedges four through pitching wedge and then I hope you’re okay with it but you got a sevenwood which is my favorite personally a 3-wood bang and a driver so yeah that’s why we got here early so you could hopefully warm up with them but yeah shout out Callaway wow yeah so if you suck today then you can just blame it on new clubs but also that excuse won’t last very long because you have new clubs so I called Cinger to be fair though they did not this bad boy they they said this is irreplaceable it is irreplaceable so they said they would leave that alone for now but yeah well thank you of course yeah hopefully enjoy them i called Cingers they should be your specs so they should be the same as the other ones thank you so that’s my father’s day this is your father’s day present so absolutely so don’t say I never did anything for you but no I hope you like them i think that they’re pretty similar to the old ones that you had i think they’re going to be awesome oh man I’m excited there you go let’s see i thought I had Skyler’s club skyler I think they The guys put the clubs in the wrong bag you’re like how did they get the right golf bag but like all my clubs All these clubs are the wrong clubs sean are these yours exactly got the freshest set that’s right yeah so you have the freshest set of the day indeed i don’t I don’t know if I should hit them i know now you feel guilty about hitting them just remember every shot you hit today the first shot they smell so good they look so good that new club smell new club smell gosh there is something that when you do smell a new club it’s like you smell like the grip like the uh the lubricant that they use yeah something that just Yeah takes years off your life exactly all right now the only thing fade so this first hole it’s a little dog leg right so just kind of anything towards that bunker the low burner who put that tree there yeah you’re fine big flat hop huh these trees are thick so it’ll knock it down what do I need out of here my hybrid my seven i don’t know it could be the seven could be the first time you hit the seven i got to use all the clubs in the bag so that’s what I’m doing here that’s true you just wanted to make sure you didn’t know if you were going to get the chance to use a seven we are not going to apply the rule what do I do at which uh what you have to do if you start hot start the nerves are real yeah and this sevenwood you can kind of like hit down on it more too that’s the nice part about it this one especially this one you can kind of go down and get it there he is same guy perfect who is that guy yeah I know he’s not the same guy that hit the first two exactly life is good beautiful day great course great company that’s right that could be better no I’m kidding if we didn’t have Skyler it would be nice as he hits it to like 10 ft good swing Skye now that Now the camera’s not on Skyler’s gonna make everything he’s gonna shoot 59 and we’re not going to show a single shot it’s gonna be crazy jeez i I said they’re firm and I didn’t listen to myself 95 all right he’s got 110 yards hit it 95 i’m going to caddyy for him today too we’ll see how good of a caddyy I am so far clearly I’ve been bad yeah right skye’s ball is good you have a little more room right too kick oh almost course knowledge little right kick that’s a good number though you have a 60 with you why to flop it up well you don’t have to flop it like the nice thing is you can use a 60 and not flop but 56 is fine whatever you’re comfy with i’m not going to not here to often it’s just so much slope ah it’s a pretty good chip it’s really like the first Yeah 3/4 is just going to move right and the last half might just kind of straighten out a little so a cup yeah i like at least a cup cuz you’re not hitting it very hard wow wow didn’t start at a cup but didn’t need it to start a cup woo that’s a great six this is a good bogey i’ll take it written all over after first couple shots that is not the way that people tend to make bogeies on part fives but hey guess what well done all right clean this up nice nice take a birdie to start the day two shot lead on my fairway we’ll say you guys going to start like chirping me for my dad being a better putter than me is that what’s going to happen here michael’s already doing it so you guys will just be following his lead that’s not a bad thing that’s true the young kids young kids yeah that’s me you can’t be talking about yourself that’s me no swing easy that’s right easy right still a little left all right did it get past that corner it did not but that’s okay cuz you hit a fade anyway just kind of a rough there yeah it’s just a cool one i like this place because it’s like you never lose sight of the uphill to 65 so flat back in the wind though we’re going to try to hit a flight at 7 and it might be a little short and that’s okay chunk flyer please nope but there’s worse places to hit it just a touch heavy you put this tree right in front of my ball that’s my bad you want me to take it down real quick that’s not terrible it’s another good spot to chip a 56 from absolutely oh my gosh chipping from this stuff is so nice bent grass it’s easier than Bermuda but it’s still not like crazy easy but little backfooted 60 kind of a little runner kind of thought it was going to be firmer than that that was such an easy chip too heyo nice chip Dad if you want it it’s good he likes to put him you can also take it it’s good for the handicap i never had a prayer got to hit it harder than that it’s a good drive though even farther too that’s a bogey oh you going to clean it up Dad skyler told me to skyler’s making you putt this that was pretty on brand honestly on me yep he doesn’t need your right and I kind of think I needed to hit that harder are you dancing i maybe It’s so hard to trust a number you can’t see it it’s kind of blind just nice easy smooth nice easy smooth pitching wedge i ever seen you hit but it’s okay yeah I pulled a shot exactly yeah yeah we heard that now I’m like trying to hit it harder that was actually a great roll that was I had 3 ft thankfully did not good to 140 so I kind of checked 150 i should have been playing with the wind maybe more at 158 yeah but like I mean it’s kind of it’s just kind of like it’s like puffing up and then laying down puffing up and so it kind of just depends on what gust you get when yeah but I mean there like where you are it’s like that’s such a simple chip little good chip darn good guys got hands let’s finish the deal with me um but I think this is special because I’ll always be able to have this to look back on you know over the next 20 30 40 50 years even and and then Remy can watch it and then Rey’s kids can watch it and they can get to know their grandpa their great grandpa um you know a little bit more and I just think that’s the cool part about YouTube and cool opportunity I have here so yeah I hope maybe say yeah enough of that tree to kind of just drop down have a perfect angle fairway might even be in the fairway i’m going to I’m going to take your recommendation how far out are you putting it no 71 are you telling me I should i’m telling you i’m actually telling you you should put it i mean I think so this is not the time to hit 60 i wouldn’t I don’t know if I would hit 60 from here can you hit 50 or you think yeah you can hit 50 I guess yeah and you want to kind of scoot it along the ground honestly if you’re ever going to hit pitching wedge I actually like it here more cuz it’s going to come back this way i think it should move a little left yeah especially when it gets up by the green yeah exactly a little right off his feet a little left at the end you do have to hit it hard hit it hard though go uh we’re going to need it we’re going to need it harder than that perfect line though go i love the line i mean to be honest there’s there’s worse things that you could have
