Videos circulating on social media showing President Donald Trump seemingly snubbing actress Cheryl Hines at a UFC event have sparked widespread speculation. The footage, which shows Hines reaching out for a handshake but being ignored by Trump, quickly went viral, with many claiming the president “snubbed” the Curb Your Enthusiasm star and wife of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy.

The incident took place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, where President Trump attended UFC 314 alongside members of his Cabinet. Upon entering the arena, Trump was seen shaking hands with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. but appeared to overlook Cheryl Hines as she extended her hand. Hines seemed momentarily surprised by the interaction and was later seen briefly speaking with Kai Trump.

Cheryl Hines’ Team Responds To Trump SnubCheryl Hines’ publicist, Ann Gurrola, clarified the situation in a statement to Fox Digital on Sunday, saying that Trump likely did not mean to snub Hines. Gurrola suggested that the apparent oversight was simply a misunderstanding, adding that Trump later circled back to greet Hines.

An administration official also confirmed to Fox Digital that Trump did not intentionally snub Hines. Photos later surfaced on social media showing Trump speaking with both Hines and Kennedy before the fight, supporting claims that Trump eventually greeted them.

“No, President Trump did not “snub” RFK Jr’s wife, Cheryl Hines. He didn’t see her hand, and went back after he was done greeting Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier, as seen in the picture below,” a user wrote on X.
