Scottsdale National. Got to play all 3 courses today. Warmed up with the “Bad little 9” a wickedly hard par 3 course. Then on to the “Other Course” which is an insane design newly built and then finished on the Mineshaft. 4 course meal in between rounds.. comfort station with hand made ice cream. Not sure golf will be the same for me after today. Such an amazing experience

Don’t think I’m posting that score if I played there

  2. EnvironmentalEnd7062

How’d you get to play? And what were your scores?

    Few questions.

Is the desert out of bounds? And if not do you have to watch out for snakes and shit when you go out there to hit your ball?

On some of those bunkers do you just walk in and out from the front? They look pretty deep…

  4. AnchorDrown

There is 100 percent a snake somewhere in the trap in that first picture. You can’t see him but he can see you.

  5. That looks incredible! Please tell me picture 2 is from the insanely hard part 3 course….because that looks like a ridiculously hard green to hit, haha

  6. Was this for some kind of corporate event? Or an invite from a member?

I love the history of how that whole club came to be Scottsdale National. Google Bob Parsons Scottsdale National for some good stories.

I think this hole was in the Goonies….

  8. Best be working on your sand play before you head out there, laddy 😳😬

  9. MrNMTrue505

Dang how do they keep the grass that green out there in the desert?

  10. Pure-Negotiation-900

Is this course the photo behind Michael Wilbon when he’s not in studio for Pardon The Interruption?

  11. Necessary_Position51

Wow! That looks unbelievable. Each hole looks like another game of “don’t hit it here”

  12. apetersen1

How many groups did you see? What I’ve been told is the course averages only a few rounds a day

You can’t convince me that first photo is not a Bear..

  14. buttmcshitpiss

Was that *your* ball in the pot bunker? How did you or they do? What did you or they do?

  15. waitingOnMyletter

How do you get into / out of that bunker without injuring yourself ?

  16. SpecificEvening6531

Thanks a lot pal !!! That bunker is going to give me nightmares when I sleep now

  17. TheNewYellowZealot

How did you get out of the sand trap in the first image. Like that’s 15 feet of loft.

  18. thestaltydog

That’s the background of Michael Wilbon’s Scottsdale location

may I ask a few questions regarding the “ comfort station”?

You can always tell how expensive a place is, when they rename normally mundane buildings and services.

It’s not a bad thing, but comfort station leaves a lot to the imagination.

  20. pbrassassin

Where’s the wind mill , and clown ? Do you putt through hollow logs ?

  21. FuckedHerInChurch

Is it true you don’t have to rake the bunkers and employees just come out of nowhere to do it for you?

  22. CzechChaserr

shit may as well bring a bucket to build some sand castles while looking for your ball.

  23. thegreatindoor

Looks like an interesting course but I’ll pass. The heat is too much

  24. I can’t believe you were out there for all that today. Heat doesn’t bother me much but 115 in June – not used to this crap yet. Kudos to you.

  25. Particular-Ad9304

Bad little 9 seems like top 10 short course on earth imo

  26. RunTheClassics

My brother just landed in phoenix after dark and said it’s 1000 degrees there still…how the fuck do yall golf in this?

  27. frankdatank_004

That green in pic #2 says “fuck around and find out”.
