cory Connors withdraws from Travelers Championship due to wrist injury Canadian golfer Cory Connors has officially withdrawn from this week’s Travelers Championship as he continues to recover from a right wrist injury The PGA Tour confirmed the news Tuesday announcing that Jonathan Vegas will take his spot in the $20 million signature event Connors sustained the injury during the opening round of the US Open when his club struck a television cable in a bunker He aggravated the wrist again during Saturday’s round and pulled out before his Sunday tea time Fellow golfer Michael Kim noted on social media that Connors was clearly in pain but still pushed through before ultimately withdrawing The 33-year-old has had a strong 2025 season so far notching five top 10 finishes in 16 starts and currently sitting 10th in the FedEx Cup standings He finished T-27 at last year’s Travelers and T9 in 2023 Connors will now turn his focus to recovery aiming to return at next week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic Vegas meanwhile is set to make his first appearance in a signature event Friends what is your opinion about this share in the comments
