uh Ryan Wilson is roaming somewhere where are you Ryan where are you of course I’m down I’m down here with the celebrations with Big Joe McCarthy outstanding how how good does it feel to finally get your hands on that trophy after four years it feels so bloody good it feels like our group our staff they’ve been way they’ve been way too good the last few years not to have a trophy so it just feels so good to get over the line lads are buzzed so good and what’s the feeling like cuz we we heard from B before he was saying that there was almost a nervousness and the pressure really was on this week did you feel the same yeah I tr I was so nervous all week cuz so it means so much to us so yeah all week I I was worried but thank god sometimes you play your best rugby when you’re nervous like that so we with a great performance at Ler Buzz well mate good luck for the summer i’ll let you go and join the celebrations as we go and find a few more we’ll go and grab a couple of youngsters here’s one of the youngsters oh I wish I was young how’d you go mate you enjoy that one it’s not a bad feeling and what what a place to do it at Croak Park incredible yeah yeah yeah stuff of dreams like actually don’t even dream of playing here when you’re a kid playing rugby you played GA here but special special are you a GA man played for Croakkes when I was younger but yeah rugby took over a little bit later on and we were just chatting about the pressure here we’ll move as we go the pressure that you guys are under but honestly the way that you guys have done it throughout the season the pressure’s been on there’s been ups and downs everyone’s doubted you was there ever any doubt inside the group uh no i think we we know what we’re capable of uh maybe it was a little bit flat after the Northampton game but we got that buzz back last week put in a great performance and this week forwards were awesome they dominated the game well I’ll leave you to go and get these celebrations we’re going to watch this man because everyone wants to hear from him hold on i’ll tell you what let’s get James Low as he’s here loey I’m not paid enough i’m not paid enough hey mate you’ve been here for a little time one of one of the boys that’s come over there’s a few big names in this squad but none bigger that have put in so much effort from you mate like how does it feel to finally get over the line yeah it’s good uh I think a few of the boys were surprised they played so uh so often at the end of the season getting on the old age is catching up but look uh the boys have put in some throughout the year i think we’ve used over 50 players and um it comes down to it i mean you see Jammo unfortunately had to drop out uh few other niggles obviously obviously Hugo going into knockouts you know the back three probably wasn’t the starting back three you would have thought of at the start of the season the boys have done outstanding so uh for people like Church you see him running around with his kids we talked about why we want to win this and it’s for people like him uh people have given his whole career to this club to this country and to be able to do it it’s outstanding mate that is so awesome to hear like talk to me as well because there’s a lot of lions in your group right so does that add pressure as well because of the amount of lions that got picked you’re one of them you’ll be heading over to Australia in the summer did that add a bit of pressure uh pressure is a privilege man and I know it’s pretty cliche but as soon as we all got picked we sat down as a group and we said I I won’t say exactly what we said but we’re like look I we’ve still got a job to do you don’t want to be one of those guys who saves themselves just for a Lions tour you wanted to keep on playing make sure we go into this Lions tour with uh on the front foot and I think we’ve done that we We played well for these last three knockout games and it’s outstanding well Loey listen I’ll let you get off with a little one how good is that that’s not a bad little one to have hey good boy i’ll send you off congratulations man all the best with the with the tour jordy boy come here come here we’ll move we’ll keep moving we’ll keep moving hey not a bad 6 months that not too bad i know you would have wanted to add a Champions Cup to it as well i know i know that was the plan but to come over 6 months and add a URC trophy to the list not a bad feeling yeah it’s so good and we tried to use a bit of that motivation from Europe as well and sometimes if you try and bite off a bit too much and almost like try to win the double yeah and don’t win the competition that’s in front of your face um yeah it can be extra disappointing so that’s going to mean a lot for this group going forward taste some winning and um who knows going to set us up and what’s next you going to come back over this way anytime soon i’d love to i’d love to who knows maybe in a few years but um look I’m going to savor this experience it’s been amazing on and off the field so um I’m really grateful for it last question have you enjoyed the rugby more or the golf that’s that’s a sticky question over here but look that’s the cherry on top today it’s been unbelievable well enjoy a few scoops tonight mate go and celebrate with the boys cuz I’m going to throw this one over to the boys with a bit
