What was it like playing for Team USA? #golf

University of Minnesota Junior Bella McCauley’s junior golf season will be one to remember, as she got to play in not one, but two marquee golf tournaments, calling both of them once in a lifetime opportunities. In this 2nd Swing Thoughts segment, McCauley sits down with 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald to reflect upon playing for the U.S. in this year’s Arnold Palmer Cup.

what was it like to wear the red white and blue i mean that’s got to be a really cool feeling to get the uniforms and put them on and kind of be It’s so special i think there’s nothing much better than to represent your country and um you know it’s been like a dream for me since I was little and obviously like in golf b you don’t have too many of those opportunities like compared to some other sports so um this was just so surreal and being able to to wear the red white and blue we had you know just so much um fun camaraderie around it and like you know we had we had face tattoos we had USA bracelets USA outfits it was just so fun and um really just like being united around it was was really
