adds that extra spice you know it really does it proves that uh talent is talent no matter where you primarily play keeps the majors truly global and how about Alex Norin what a story unbelievable comeback from all those injuries back neck groin seriously a walking MASH unit then he finishes T-51 the week before and suddenly bang four birdies in the last five holes on Saturday including two on the green mile that’s just clutch to get into the final group with Sheffller after all that just wow resilience it really shows that mental fortitude the experience it counts for so much especially after fighting back physically and Keegan Bradley he was grinded out there definitely on a mission six birdies including one on 18 which is never easy si nailed it laser focus on that RER Cup spot only three Americans ahead of him and that interesting point about needing to uh sort of impress the captain maybe even beat him in a major to really warrant a pick vice Stakes Golf right there love it okay shift gears the let’s call them the not so winners of Saturday uh-huh there were definitely a few guys who wish they could hit rewind sergy Garcia first up wants that Ryder Cup spot we know that desperately it seems but uh a 756879 ending up last and eight shots behind Captain Luke Donald himself yikes it’s not the look no it really highlights how current form is just king past glories only get you so far especially with captain’s picks on the line then walk Nean supposedly Live is top dog this season right yeah tearing it up over there according to reports but majors still searching for that first top 10 yeah T29 at Augusta T31 heading into Sunday here it’s kind of weird isn’t it it does suggest that the intensity the depth of field maybe the course setups and majors it’s a different beast he’s obviously talented but hasn’t quite cracked that major code yet and Bryson oh Bryson looked like he might actually challenge Sheffller he was right there in the mix and then the green mile just chewed him up three over through that stretch oof dropped him six shots back suddenly needing a miracle on Sunday plus some help it just shows those closing holes can make or break your entire week brutal absolutely focus and execution right to the very end are critical lastly Johnny Vegas led for 36 holes that’s huge it is holding a major lead for two days is intense pressure but then Saturday a 73 highest score among anyone in the top 20 yeah that’s a momentum killer right there si said he still had a puncher’s chance but man that lead vanished fast it’s tough holding on to a major lead is one of the hardest things in golf consistency over four rounds is everything okay enough major heartbreak for now let’s talk style let’s talk swagger let’s talk booya
