nick uh just what are your general thoughts on your game uh heading into uh a major championship at Oakmont next week yeah it’s in a good spot i I drove it great today which is going to be uh key for certainly uh a major next week with with a difficult driving test us Open tests every aspect of your game so uh I felt like each day this week I had something that was really really good um piece it together for the most part but no I’m confident where my game’s at looking at Oakmont specifically how does that golf course set up for what you bring to the table never been there so I’ll do a scouting report it’s going to be really difficult um you know everywhere I’ve heard the rough is crazy so being in the fairway is definitely going to be key and uh I’m happy with how I drove it today so that’s definitely important part how’s it feel to get a little bit of a morale boost before a big uh humbling tournament like that you obviously have a huge crowd support here all week yeah it was great the energy this week was was phenomenal the first couple days and then being near the lead the last two days so um you know I’m tired from it as well cuz it’s it’s fun trying to be up no close to lead and and try to get it done so I’ll get some rest the next couple days and and be prepared uh Nick you were just talking about the US Open being next week the Canadian players often call this the fifth major how tough is it to go from one big week to the next big week back to back yeah it is it is difficult i think managing your your rest your energy levels is huge um the hard part going next week i’ve never been there so I’m going to see the golf course i’m going to put some time in on the greens around the greens and so uh just trying to get as much rest as possible but uh yeah I’ll have three days to to manage that it’s not like I’m going to be searching for anything golf gamewise because I feel like I’m in a good spot so that’s definitely a nice thing you are currently the low Canadian obviously there’s some more to come uh so uh how does it feel to know that maybe you are the low Canadian in in the National Open once again yeah I’ll I’ll take some pride in that if if that’s the case uh it stings with the finish today but um I’m happy I gave it a run and I knew I think Sam I just saw finish 18 i thought 17 would would be a playoff potentially but um you know give it a chance with a few to go was was kind of what you’re looking for it didn’t pan out this time but um yeah if if that’s a consolation prize it’s nice okay thank you thank you
