Tiger Woods is not just praised for his golfing legacy but for being a father who has supported his children through thick and thin. Recently, Woods was spotted cheering on Charlie at the Florida State Amateur Championship.
It was right after Charlie’s AJGA victory, a breakthrough moment for the 16-year-old, finishing at 15-under 201 for his first AJGA title.

After the win, he couldn’t help but say: “Now I can say I have one, and Dad can’t say I don’t; that definitely helps in the argument between him and I.”
But it looks like that was not the only message the 16-year old had for his father.
On Sunday, AJGA revealed Charlie’s pened message to 15x major winner Tiger Woods.
“Thank you, Dad, for believing in me in times where I didn’t even believe in myself, and for all the times where you have supported me no matter what I do.”
Charlie added, “Even though we argue a lot, I still cherish every moment, and I would just like to say, thank you for everything you’ve done for me.”
But their bond goes beyond golf.
Tiger’s children have been his biggest source of strength, especially during one of the saddest moments of his life—the passing of his mother, Kultida Woods, earlier this year.
Tiger was heartbroken, sharing how close Sam and Charlie were to their grandmother. “She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie. Thank you all for your support, prayers, and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family.”
Their relationship was on full display during the TGL’s inaugural season all well. Tiger was facing Atlanta Drive GC in the final match and Charlie was right there, supporting his father from the stands.
Interestingly one unforgettable moment was Tiger spotting Charlie eating chicken fingers mid-match and playfully asking for one.
“Chicken Fingers? Give me one. Just throw me one,” he said, and Charlie happily passed one over. A simple, lighthearted moment that showed their genuine connection.
Not only this but Tiger has always been Charlie’s biggest cheerleader.
During last year’s PNC Championship last year, Charlie posted a hole-in-one, and no one celebrated harder than Tiger, who hugged his son in pure joy.
Now, on Father’s Day, it was Charlie’s turn to give back.
His message was a reminder that, beyond the trophies and accolades, family is what truly matters.
