Here in the month of June, things have really changed. It’s been a challenge for the guys on the mound so far this month, Gordon is that rookie. He will be making his sixth start 5.11 as, er, a 24 and two thirds innings pitched Byron Buckton leads off Twins to be aggressive early by Jeffers on deck and the 22 line to left field, there’s a base hit sprinting over is Melton who cut it off on the warning track and because he does so holds Buxton to a long single good start early buck truck sighting and the twins have their leadoff man on tonight. So now Ryan Jeffers chopper to short could be two to Rogers for one and Brendan takes his time to throw a strike to first. They get the double play on Jeffer too quick out. Great job there. That was Taylor made waist high hop on the second hop to Pena, our old friend Carlos ground ball right side. Walker will charge it. He’ll say I’ve got it myself. Gordon back off the plate off the base and that’s a three to end the first inning who hit safely in 16 of his last 17 games hit the ball through the middle. The Astros are in the bottom of the first JP three has hit in 17 of his last 18 games hitting over 400 during the stretch. The Astros go in the two spot from the guy who sees more pitches per plate appearance to a guy who puts the first pitch in play and it, with bases being held up, Everybody knows about Carlos since that with nobody out but Jan with a first pitch double in that two, it’s up to Christian walker batting 218 279 on base percent nine homers, 33 driven. And that’s why that will load them up not leaving the strike zone. And now Jake Myers will bat with the bases loaded. 22, swung on a miss. He came up and in and he up Jake myers for a critical out. Number two trying to get movement, trying to crowd these right handed hitters and now it’s Cam Smith turn, he’ll look for his first hit with the base for three. There’s a line drive to center come through with a big two out two run. The candy man can aggressive early. He got himself a fastball up and in but he forced this one into center field for a couple of RBIs. Melton hitting 185 in 10 games 5 to 27. No home runs. Three runs batted in and he throws him the changeup. That’s going to be a base. The diving Christian walker at bat for Jacob drives in his 4th 3 to 0 but they were playing him in a pretty heavy pull situation with Brooks Lee ground ball to the second base spot for another run canal 1st and 3rd 2 out for mauricio Dub-n ground ball up the middle. It will be lead to the backhand side, good arm strength there from Brooks Lee damage done. Paddock threw 27 pitches in the Astros three run first inning Astros with four hits and a walk breaking ball grounded left side right at Correa and he bobbles, it picks it up side on to to first. Not nearly in time, we rarely have seen that from Carlos Correa in his career in this building. That is absolutely a routine play for Carlos and he did not handle it. So Rogers aboard for Jeremy Pena who began the bottom of the first with a base hit up the middle that ball to right field and that looks like a good swing for Pena single to right. Brendan Rodgers going first to third and the Astros in business here with runners on the corners and nobody out fourth straight multi hit game every game this home stand, Pena two hits or more another RB I opportunity for Jose Altuve. He had 2nd and 3rd with one out last time and now he’s got 1st and 3rd with one, there is a base hit into right center field that will score a run. Pena flying to third. He’s going to be, that’s a two RB. I, that’s the approach you’re looking for from Jose just a ball at the right center 28th run batted in 10th double that Walner, the lefty starting tonight against lefty Colton Gordon and that is at the knees strike three. Walner thought it was low. It may have been, it was ryan rung him up and the first out of the inning first strikeout for Gordon 12 game hitting streak. Also matching Vinny Passino for the longest active streak in the game. This one slugged to left field that will bounce by Melton and find the wall. Lee will hang on with a long single Bader. He has played in every ballpark in the game, any active ballpark in the game except for this one lined to left field. That’s a base hit for Bader Lee rounds second base on his way to third. He’ll be held by tommy Watkins. There’s Harrison Bader one out double in the twins. Look at answer back down five have two on here in the third. The twins get a couple here and start scratching away at the Astros five lead and now it’s up to ryan Jeffers there. It is ball four. So a rare walk from Gordon just his fourth this season and now a huge spot coming up. Carlos Correa. Boy would this be the opportune time for his first hit all year Hawk with the bases loaded ground ball to third Dub-n has it. He’ll go to first and the Astros are out of trouble in the third inning win. The bases loaded Astros going back to work against chris Paddock. They snapped his string of 11 straight games. Wolf teams allowing three earned runs. There’s a line drive that’s going to be down for jake Myers. He’s heading to second base with a leadoff double. The Astros continue to swing the bats. Well, tonight Pado has had the work almost exclusively out of the stretch tonight that’s pulled through the left side base hit Myers, had to make sure it went through. He goes to third base after it does Cam Smith two for two with a pair of singles. So here’s the lefty Melton who had the RB I single on a long battle that ball hammered deep to right field to the bullpen and off the wall in the score. Myers. Ken Smith had a great read. He’s going to score his first big league extra base hits two and now the infield in for Mauricio and he puts it in play shallow, right center field. Here comes Willie Castro lining it up. They’re going to send a runner, here comes the throw. It’s not going to be in time. It’s way up the line. And the Astros number 858, Houston, a three run first two in the second three more in the third. It is eight nothing as the twins will come up here in the fourth inning Castro Hammers to left field and deep towards the Crawford Bucks isn’t gone. So will Castro adding two of those great numbers from the right side of the plate. That’s his seventh home run. And the twins have made this an 81 game that ball got out in a hurry, has a two run double and for two first pitch is hit high in the air. Left field back on it Bader. He’s on the warning track looks up and she’s gone a high arching shot to left field into the Landry Crawford boxes for Jose’s 10th home run of the season and it’s nine to one. Lee singled his first time up. Lee tried to hold up on a 1 to 2 pitch. He goes too far. That will be strikeout number three for Gordon. The swing and a mess curveball there gets him. That one was below the zone and that’s the fourth strikeout for Gordon. He did walk Jeffers last time and now he’s got a 32 count here hit pretty well. Dub-n is there though and he will make the play on the line drive. Gordon rolling along in a 91 lead. We’re halfway home and for two here tonight and that is strike three, call at the knees on the sweeper Correa gripes with Brian on Noah. But the home plate umpire got that right fifth strikeout for Colton Gordon. Here’s Royce Lewis zero for two flat out to deep right on a nice running catch by Myers in the fourth. Now Lewis hammers to left center field Myers on the move, he will turn that is gone. So Royce Lewis with his second homer this season pulled that one with power high above the wall and left center is now 92 that home run could mean a whole lot more ripple effect wise for Royce Lewis in the twins offense 425 ft for Royce two one to Castro. And that’s lifted in the center myers, tracking it to his left, makes the catch above his cap and the side is retired. Colton Gordon goes six innings for the first time as a big leaguer and has a chance to pick up his second big league victory. Griffin Jacks will get some work here tonight. Hawk. He will take over in the seventh. There’s a check swing and it’s a strikeout and that will bring up Cam Smith, a called strike three and down goes smith swinging. Miss. Here we know Griffin Jackson pitch and the Astros have two runners on with nobody out. They’re trying to snap a scoreless streak for Danny Ko, which is currently 21 straight scoreless teams, Jeremy Pena, he’s 3 to 4 AA couple of singles and a couple of runs scored. Pena delivers and there goes the scoreless streak. The longest active streak in the major leagues going back to last season for Danny as he allowed a run on May 26th of last year offense doing a lot of damage tonight. Ninth inning twins are down eight runs and Ty France last chance to keep his on base streak going, France in the air to left field and deep this one to the Bucks isn’t gone. So Ty France will keep that on base streak going on ninth inning home run his fifth and it’s a 10 3 game 24 straight games. Now, the twins first baseman has foul his way on somehow some way. So France’s fifth home run his first off the lefty this season and the batter is Royce Lewis who has one of them. It’s the hitters 45 and six. France Lewis and now Lewis slugs to left, that’s a fair ball. So Lewis has had a good night hang out at first base and there is a long single. So Royce with two hits and Rocco ball Deli is out and Jason Kirkman is there as well and part of the twins medical staff and Royce is coming out here, the ninth inning is just heartbreaking one, two ground ball left side right at Pena. He’s got it to second for one. Rodgers the first scooped by walker and it’s a double play score that 643 and the twins are down to their final out. Matt Walner will swing at the first pitch and pop it up. They should do, it, makes the call and puts it away and the Astros close out a 10 3 victory as the Astros have won three out of four on the home stand and they push their lead in the A L West to a season high five.

Without anything or anybody, no problem, Astros baseball is solid
Go Astros
Astros always seems to get over that rough start now they are smoking. Good game The twins played good as well. 👍
Wheels are coming off for the Twinkies, 3 blowout losses in 4 games.
Hey Texas Ranger you can learn alot by watching the astros games and take notes.
My Astros are gonna be scary good. It’s amazing how they dealt with so many injuries to key players, mostly in their pitching staff, and they’re still getting the job done.
Besbol⚾️🇺🇲
Twins got blown out AND lost Royce Lewis again… typical Twins game. They either win or get crushed.
Melton belongs here!
It would be lovely to see Correa in Braves or Red Sox uniforms.
Altuve home runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Stros getting hot
Twins have very quickly become embarrassing. Amazing what a few injuries can do to a team with a 146 million payroll ! Something doesn’t seem right. Oh yeah, this is a Minnesota “professional “ team.
LFG stros 🔵🟠
Royce is made of glass
How did that ball not hit Jeremy Peña in the legs in the 3rd? Probably wouldn't have done anything but so thankful it missed just incase.
Looks like my '22 astros
Correa is a groundball machine.
BAHAHAHAHA twins!!!! OORAH HOUSTON ASTROS, GET SOME N KEEP IT GOING!!!!
