golf grip size what should you be using and why golf grip size is a really interesting subject So I’ve got Ping’s grips here just to show you because they color code it making it all kind of easier to understand So they have a jumbo which is big They then have a midsize which is not as big but bigger than standard which is their black or white color way Um and then they have an acron and a red which is undersized and then even more undersized Meaning smaller hands you would go maybe possibly to more towards the undersized to a standard And then bigger hands you’re going to move up maybe to a midsize and a jumbo That would be your basics So hand size could be a factor that helps you choose a certain grip Now I’ve got quite small hands I wear a men’s small glove but I do and have dabbled with a midsize grip And sometimes just feeling that slightly thicker grip maybe makes me feel that I can feel where the face is a little bit more Maybe that I’ve got more grip to hold on to to try and pull harder as I’m swinging fast But remember these are personalized feelings to me And that’s one of the main things when it comes to grip size The the research is slightly limited but trying some different grip sizes might trigger some different feelings Don’t just go stay on a grip If you get a chance to try some different ones you should If you got a friend who’s got a club with a different grip size on try it See what it feels like
