All right, second hour fantasy sports. Today we have Gray Albright coming up, I believe at 930 eastern. So stay tuned for that. Gray has been so awesome to us all season long. So awesome to us that in about a month we tell them don’t come on anymore. That’s how awesome. That’s how great we treat our our guests here at Sports Grid. Anyway. All right. National Football League, against my better wishes. We’re going to do some Steelers talk on the show today. Can’t wait. All right George. Aaron Rodgers how many times have we said this guy’s name. No more 28 passing touchdowns 11 interceptions. That’s actually not bad. Better than I thought his numbers were. He was much better in the second half of the NFL season than he was in the first. I have, you know, by the way, it’s like I have nothing against this guy. I feel like a lot of the criticism is just because of who he is off the field. I could care less. My issue is I just don’t think the Steelers are good, man. Like, I just look at this roster and look honestly I’m going to throw the hottest take out there George. There’s a chance D.K. Metcalf is not good anymore. There’s a chance of that. And this happens in the NFL. Like you become AJ green and your career just ends. And I’m not saying it’s going to happen with him at all. But this is a poor roster George. It’s not it’s not much better than the Jets. He had Davante Adams right. Like he had really good there in Breece Hall. The weapons are not as good in Pittsburgh. They’re going to win less games I think than they won. They won last season. I mean if you look for me to disagree with you on anything. I don’t know if I do. I think listen, I think D.K. Metcalf still has has gas left in the tank. I do. Do I think he’s a top receiver? No, I do not. All right. I think Pickens is probably a better guy. Problems with the attitude there. But then again, Metcalf had problems with his attitude as well. Their running game with Jalen Warren is average. Out of line is average. Tight ends are. Stop me if you’ve heard this. Average. All right. The defense is probably better than average, but not immensely better than average. And by the way, we have no idea what TJ what’s going to do. Right. He’s not reporting to OTAs or hasn’t reported to OTAs because he wants a new contract. He wants a mega, mega deal and he deserves a mega, mega deal because he’s a defensive MVP each and every year here, it’s getting older. I mean, everything you said is true. All right. Rodgers is not going to change much at this team. Or is he better than what they had? Sure they had Mason Rudolph. They had Will Howard. All right. You had Skylar Thompson. Yeah. He’s better. All right. So yeah, you did better. Are you better than the Ravens? Not even close. Better than the Bengals. All right. Their defense sucks, but their ofe is going to score a lot of points. There are better than Browns probably. All right so I’ll give you that. So your 35th Division good for you. I just don’t know. I don’t know what Rodgers does for them because they’re going to have the same exact problem one year from now. Right. He’s going to be gone, signed a one year deal. And you still don’t have a quarterback. All right. Where does Tomlin win nine s every year. He’ll probably win nine. He gets the more he gets the most juice out of the orange that you possibly can. He does. But you already said this team is not very good. So I don’t know what you’re expecting from them. As far as Aaron Rodgers. He’s not a quarterback. One in fantasy you’re playing in a superflex or a two quarterback league. Yes. You take him later on you draft, but you’re not. I don’t care about the numbers from last year. He threw 28. Everybody throws 28. It seems like he doesn’t run at all anymore. So you’re not getting any bonuses there. He’s a quarterback to Houston the Texans. Let’s dive into them here a little bit. The Texans made a move this week to acquire a former RB one in fantasy. Former first round pick in fantasy. And that is Nick Chubb who last season did not resemble the old Nick Chubb. And by the way nothing wrong with that. This guy unfortunately went through a horrific injury George in the NFL and we don’t know that he’ll ever be the same. It’s a brutal sport. He will back up Joe Mixon at least at the start of the season. I think this is a really good move for Houston because it’s almost to me like let’s get Chubb in camp. Let’s get him some preseason time and then just sit behind Nixon. And in case we need him he’s the ultimate handcuff. But you know George is as we move forward here. Is there a chance even if he saw playing time this coming season, that he could even resemble what he did in the past, fantasy wise? I mean, where will he be picked in the 10th round? The 12th round? Somewhere along that, I hope. I hope he can resemble what he was because those injuries were brutal and it’s hard not to root for the man. All right? He looks great for what it’s worth, right? He’s he’s in shape. They’re all in shape now, right? He’s built like a tank here. So you hope he can get back to what he was. But I have doubts for a couple of reasons. One, the injuries. This is not the first major injury he’s had, right? He’s torn his ACL. So it’s tough to come back from the ACL alone more or less this latest injury here the Houston offensive line sucks okay. It’s terrible. It’s awful. Anywhere you want to use. There it is. It is really a bunch of sieves there. And they traded their best one right. Laremy Tunsil was traded to Washington. All right. You see what the moves they’ve made here. They want to throw the ball with CJ Stroud who took a request last year. It might have been because of the offensive line but he regressed last year. But you had Christian Kirk who. Yeah. Yeah I’m not thrilled about either. You draft Higgins here. You you’re saying we want to throw the football? I don’t know, he’s gonna have enough time to throw the football, but you got already got tank. You already got Nico Collins. They seem to be. They seem to want to be a throwing team here. Every team needs two running backs. By the way. This is the way. It’s not like when you and I were growing up, Greg. Right? They got rid of that years ago. Very few teams have that one bell cow running back. Everyone has two, so he’ll get playing time. As for where he’s going to be drafted, I’d probably say a little earlier than double digits, maybe around eight. You know, somewhere around there he’s a running back, three running back for his values. If you have Joe Mixon sure he can give you that backup here. If he’s going to be the true backup because that means he has to. He would have to return from being from the injury and be that guy again. It’ll be close to that guy again to get that role to himself. But yes, he does have value. Every running back, every running back with the post has value here, but you’re probably talking around what you said. I would give a little early around eight because of the running back position, but he’s I don’t think he’ll ever be that guy again. I actually of the skill position players on Houston and you know George and I next month will dive heavy into football. But Nico Collins to me seems to be the one coming off a huge two years ago, a huge year last year. Disappointing. I could see a big bounce back there. Nobody else really on that list interest me. Final thing here. Let’s get to the holdouts in football here. Terry McLaurin, who was the number one target last season. Look at those numbes from Jayden Daniels last year. Wow huge huge season I understand Deebo Samuel is there and he’s under contract. But he is not he does not do the things that Terry McLaurin can do on the outside. I do think Deebo still can be effective, even though they’re showing video of him. As if it matters right now. Oh who cares Sam. Seriously, who cares? It’s June, it is June. It doesn’t matter. But you know, this will get worked out right, George? I mean, look, Jamaar Chase, we waited till, like, the night before the season started, so get ready in July for McLaurin George not to be there. Get ready for August for McLaurin. George not to be there too. But game one, he’s going to play. Well. I think all these guys are going to sign eventually. Listen, it’s June. There’s not much going on out there I listen the McLaurin thing is getting a little ugly. All right. He’s not happy that it’s taking the negotiations so slow right now. So he’s not happy about it. He wants the money that well he saw Higgins get that. He saw Jamar Chase get you know, and all these other guys. The problem is he’s post 30. You know he’st their age. So he’s gonna have a tough time getting he’s not going to get 35 million. I think he get 30 somewhere around there. So maybe the Brandon Aiyuk deal I can’t see Washington walking away from it. The new ownership, everything that’s going on there, all the positive that’s going on, they’ll get it done. I think it’ll be before week one, but I think it’s going to go into training camp a little bit. Yeah, I know there’s no reason. There’s no reason for anybody to do it now. Right. Everything’s just about winding down here. They go off June. They’re pretty much done until about a month, six weeks from now, where they start training camp here. That’s when I expect us to really start heating up again here. But they’re not going into week one with Deebo Samuel as your number one, who I wonder, by the way, you said about DK Metcalf, I wonder if Deebo is about done. Could be. I mean, San Francisco usually gets ahead of some of these players that end up getting dealt. All right. We got the weekend fantasy preview in baseball coming up George and his father’s Day. What what is your Father’s Day wish for Sunday? A Yankee win? I can tell you the best Father’s Day gift I ever got. By the way, when my kids were younger, more diaper age here. Wife told me on a Sunday morning or Sunday, I’m taking my kids. I’m taking the kids. I’m going to my sister’s house, enjoy baseball. Yes. I’ve asked for a nice little cooler. It’s hot here in Florida. Like one of those really high end, put a few, like, drinks in a cooler for the summer. I got a good feeling about it. Their team total was 19.5 wins. I told you to go under and it’s by far the best beI have recommended on this network in four years. They can’t get out of their own way and now school is out for the year. Let’s hope Slutes gets back because I respect the hell out of Sloot and I want her to go out on her own terms. Hopefully we’ll have her back for the 26 season. Betting above the rim only on Sports Grid. I got a big. Pittsburgh’s going to the Super Bowl. I got a feeling there is no chance they’re going to the Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers. I’m just kidding. They’re still not expected to have over eight and a half wins. They’re still not expected to have a winning record. Now I know things could change over the next 24 hours, I get that. t everyone expected Aaron Rodgers to sign with him. He’s going to sign with him. Farrell coast to coast only on sports grid. The two guys that can do it all. Too much electricity this morning. This is a good time. We’re having a lot of fun. I had to do a triple take. Why? Because of parody. I didn’t mean to offend. Yeah, it’s not going to happen. Load management is a dirty word. Let him rip. You know what circumstances provide the results? What? How do you do this one? Oh, Donny, you got such a good show there. A network that is booming. The early line only on sports grid. Foul him! Oh! Oh. Oh! Ready? Up! Yeah! Oh! It was never in doubt. It was never in doubt. Oh, there’s points falling out of my eyeballs. Oh, James Johnson to the tin. Everybody gets home in game live. Only on sports grid. All right. With the Belmont Stakes behind us, it’s time to dive back into some fantasy baseball here on the show. Journal. Did journalism win or sovereignty? Last week? One of the one named horses ended up winning. I can’t remember which one. All right, let’s break it down for you, boy. Paul Skenes. He can’t get any runs scored for him. So that means the Pirates are going to score some runs. George, later today behind Mike Burroughs, he faces off against the 2019 version of Matthew Boyd, who’s pitching for the Cubs today. And then on Sunday, it is Mitch Keller. He’s been a tough luck loser this season. Also, I think his record is like 1 in 10 or something crazy like that. And speaking of 2019 version, if I’m not mistaken, Collin Raye was pitching back in 2016. So is throwback weekend in Chicago. I don’t know how the Cubs are doing this with these guys. Boyd does look pretty good, by the way. He’s throwing your way. You should be going to grab him. He should have been gone long ago here. Listen, we know Pirates can’t score, Cubs can score, blah blah blah. So you’re taking your cubbies here? You’re right about Mitch Keller, right? He’s. He is really pitched up. All the Pirates pitch, the bad luck. We all know the stats from Paul Scheinman brought up all week. They just don’t score any runs for this guy. You know, he he. If he doesn’t shutout, he doesn’t win. It’s really just that simple here. And by the way, you can make it hard with the and a non keeper. And on Dynasty League you should trade Paul screens. He’s not helping you in wins anyway. He might be the pitcher that get you something really good for someone who wants to believe that he gets you wins in the second half. We’ve got the Marlins and Nationals this weekend, and today it looks like Cade Gibson is going to start. That’s an opener for Miami Belloso who you know sometimes makes spot starts for them. Pitch last night. So I don’t know how they’re going to bulk this thing today. But Trevor Williams he has not been good for the nationals. He starts on Saturday in an early game. And then Sunday Yuri Perez made his first start of the season this past week it wasn’t great. Mackenzie Gore Washington wl be a huge favorite on Sunday I think with Gore pitching there, but we could be in for some runs. Hot weather, you know, based on how many runs last night like 19 runs. George maybe maybe offense is on tap this weekend. The funny thing, we don’t have hot weather here. We have rainy weather in northeast. Right? They still scored a million runs yesterday. I mean listen I, I’m not allowed to make any more Washington Nationals jokes. I’ve been threatened here on the network. So Washington Nationals are a great team. They are fantastic James Woods next MVP. Listen I like the matchup tomorrow. I am interested if Perez can pitch better in his second start than he did his first start. Gore likely to be an MVP candidate. That’s not being me being nice, by the way. He I’m sorry, an all star candidate, all star game candidate for the Washington Nationals. So like tomorrow’s game more than today’s game. I’m I’m interested in Perez Craig I want to see him. Can he be that guy that you know at one point last year we really thought he might be. He’s a guy I believe in here. So I’m definitely much more interested in tomorrow’s game than today’s. The Phillies are huge favorites today. Christopher Sanchez pitches for them against Bowden Fra. And then Sunday should be a good pitching matchup. Jose Berrios against Zach Wheeler. You know blue pitcher playing very well lately very well. Got themselves back in contention in the American League East. Yeah I don’t like today’s chances for them either. I think Francis is going to get crushed here. And then tomorrow. I mean Berrios has pitched better of late. Here they go with Zack Wheeler. They missed him in Toronto because he was on the paternity list. He’s back here. Boy. Toronto could be in little danger of getting swept here. Lost eight. Nothing last night. Gausman got wrecked, so may not be a very good weekend in Philadelphia for the Toronto Blue Jays. All right. Reds. Tigers this week I think this is the most anonymous Sunday matchup of the seasoo Saturday you have Brady Singer pitching against Jack Flaherty. So that’s fine. Wade Miley is pitching for the Reds I believe he was signed this week against Sawyer Gibson long on Sunday. George I don’t know what to make of that matchup Sunday. It’s the kind of thing where you bought tickets to the game. You show up and go, what the. That makes me laugh because we’ve all had that happen, right? You go to a game, who the hell are these guys? You know, it’s Wade Miley. He’s in the he’s in the news for all the wrong reasons this week. Right. Kind of sad that he is involved with Tyler Skaggs incident from years ago here. As far as Gibson long. Listen, I gotta tell you, I’m looking at the thing now. I don’t know who this guy is. He’s not even in their list of top prospects. Right? So there he is. I take that back. They’re 27 years old, so hes not a top prospect here. I don’t know what you’re hoping for here. Alright. What I’m trying to tell you is this tomorrow is probably an over day for me. Alright, I think we’ll get some runs in this game to Miley and Gibson, I think Miley’s pitch wants a one start so far. He did just recently get signed. He pitched pretty well in that start, for whatever it’s worth here, but I’ll take the over in tomorrow’s game. Flaherty versus singer. That’s your marquee pitching matchup this weekend. All right. So White Sox take on the Rangers. There’s some uncertainty with some of the starting pitchers here. I did see the White Sox name this guy Mike Vassell the starter today. His ERA is under three. He’s not a huge strikeout. He face off against Jacob deGrom. Sunday. They had Shane Smith listed, but they recently acquired Aaron Civale. I think he may be starting on Sunday for the White Sox and maybe Shane Smith’s push back Sunday. I’m not really sure this is the kind of matchups, George. You just don’t want any part of the White Sox going into Texas. That’s it. No pitch great today. Hello. Would it surprise anybody? Degrom’s pitched, what, 11 straight starts, two earned runs or less than the White Sox get to him? That’d be kind of ironic here. The only thing I thought was hilarious, by the way, demanded a trade. You want to be traded, go to the White Sox. You know, good luck to you. There. Now you go to a last place team. You pitch in a bandbox, too, which probably won’t be fun for you here. I did hear the same thing about Zavala, that he could go tomorrow. So be aware of that. That it may not be Shane Smith. Angels and Orioles Tyler Anderson against Sugano. So that’s a good start for Baltimore here. Kikuchi against Cade Povich on Sund. You’re looking at four guys might be on different teams in a month right. These all these guys could be on the trade. Kikuchi I can’t say this enough. Kikuchi has pitched very well for the angels, by the way. Very well. Should be picked up on your fantasy team. Not getting WS because they didn’t score some runs for him. We just talked about Sugano earlier in the show. Tyler Anderson once again, nothing special there, but he could be dealt to a team that wants depth starting pitching here. Povich is one guy that’s probably stuck with Baltimore, so it looks like Kikuchi no, no problem starting him tomorrow. Really? Any game he’s going, it wouldn’t surprise me if he found it in the contract. Maybe not, but wouldn’t surprise me if he. If he found himself on another team at the deadline as well. The A’s will. They had TBD as of yesterday. They’ve announced that Jacob Lopez is going to start for them today. He’s off to a good st this season. Oh and four with a six ERA. All right good stuff against Michael Lorenzen Sunday. We don’t know who’s going to start this kid Noah Cameron George was pitching fantastic until he met the Yankees this week. And then it fell apart. He Sunday he gave up some runs just a couple of bad pitches. I’m not worried about Cameron. Okay. Fair enough. We’ll be right back. Their team total was 19.5 wins. I told you to go under. And it’s by far the best bet I have recommended on this network in four years. They can’t get out of their own way. And now Sloot is out for the year. Let’s hope Sloot gets back, because I respect the hell out of Sloot, and I want her to go out on her own terms. Hopefully we’ll have her back for the 2016 season. Betting above the rim only on sports Grid. I got a feeling Pittsburgh’s going o the Super Bowl. I got a feeling there is no chance they’re going to the Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers. I’m just kidding. They’re still not expected to have over eight and a half wins. They’re still not expected to have a winning record. Now I know things could change over the next 24 hours, I get that. But everyone expected Aaron Rodgers to sign with him. He’s going to sign with him. Farrell coast to coast only on sports grid. The two guys that can do it all. Too much electricity this morning. This is a good time. We’re having a lot of fun. I had to do a triple take. Ka ching. Foul him! Ref 000! J-dub! Yeah! Oh! It was never in doubt. It was never in doubt. Oh, there’s point falling out of my eyeballs. Oh! James Johnson to the tin. Everybody gets home in game live. Only on sports grid. All right. Welcome back to Fantasy Sports today here on Sports Grid. Let’s get to some of the matchups this weekend including Saturday and Father’s Day on Sunday.. The rays are starting to play better baseball George Drew Rasmussen always seems to put together a good start against Tyler McGill. Shane bats against Griffin Canning on Sunday. Rays are just no pushover at this point. It could be could end up being the second best team in the division. They could have been the best team in the division. It is the rays. Yeah, this team doesn’t go away here. I don’t I say this over and over again. The Yankees are not going to run away with this division okay. The rays should be able to stay in contention if they continue to play good ball. I do worry about them. Once that road schedule heats up. Right, they’re gonna play a truckload of road games starting shortly here. Rasmussen has looked like an ace of late here. McGill has looked good for the men. I mean, there’s a lot of good pitching matchups this weekend in at Citi Field. Keep in mind, likely to be playing through the rain drops today. Be very careful. You’re going to be wagering on this game here as it wouldn’t shock you. They start the game, have a delay and you don’t see Rasmussen McGill come back after that delay because the rain pretty much all day and most of the night here in New York, we also have the Twins and Astros, where Houston, of course, playing better baseball at this point, they’re in first place. Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota on Saturday against Hunter Brown, Cy Young Award candidate. And then we get to see Brandon Walter pitch for Houston Sunday against Simeon Woods Richardson. You know, our producer Sanders said who when we said Brandon Walter. And that’s pretty much the correct answer. Boy yeah, that’s not tomorrow is the over game right. That’s the thing. You know, I bet the over between Minnesota and Houston run should be scored here. Today is probably another game here. Hunter Brown. You always have to feel bad for him Craig because yeah he’s a Cy Young candidate. And the non Tariq screw rule of the division. Right. Because I think he’s going to win it again unless something happens here over the second half here. Great Browns having a great year. Finally developed into his own here. But probably not going to win that Cy Young thanks to Mr. Schoolboy there. But yeah today’s the under. Tomorrow’s the over Rockies and Braves. The Rockies finally got their first walk off win against the Giants earlier in the w. Chase Dollander starts for Colorado at Atlanta. Braves need Spencer Strider to get going to Sunday. Rockies have not announced a starter against Chris Sale. Forget Atlanta fantasy players need Strider to get going here right. Doesn’t have a win yet this season. It’s only 3 or 4 starts. The good news he did pitch well. His last start in a loss against San Fran on Sunday right. He pitched well. They didn’t score any runs for him. They didn’t. They got swept there. If you’re the Atlanta Braves you won last night. You were down four one late. You come back. Olson Ozuna have big games here. This has to be the start for the Braves right stride against Dollander. Gotta win this game. Sale against TBD. TBD is pitching a lot tomorrow. Will be very busy. Tired arm come Monday. You got this. You got the sweep. You have the sweep. Have to win. You have to get on your run here and get going here. So yeah, we’re going to be all over Strider and Sale. Betting wise. You’re looking at some parlays and then we have the Cardinals and Brewers capping off the weekend. George Andre Palante starts Saturday for Saint Louis Jose Quintana on Sunday. Miles Michaelis will await his opponent tomorrow. Yeah we Craig and I both think it’s going to be civil here. But that’s not 100% not. He’s gone. All right. Give me Saint Louis here this week. They’re playing well I’ll take the matchups. The Arizona Diamondbacks George are the team that will not quit. Doesn’t matter who they have. They’ve won a few games in a row. Seem to be jumping back into this thing. Zac Gallen will start Saturday. I mean if Arizona can take care of business against San Diego, let’s not eliminate them just yet. Merrill Kelly starts Sunday. Of course, he’s always good for them. Berger starts for the Padres Saturday. Nick Pivetta that’s a good pitching match on Sunday. It is there. So Arizona five and a half out there behind San Diego LA. And the Giants there. So they got to get things going here. I’m not giving them up for dead either. But they Craig if they sort of you know stumbled last couple of weeks. They could be trade deadline sellers as well. On Saturday the Yankees will take on the Red Sox. But that’s not going to be the story. The story is going to be Hunter Dobbin’s, pitching for the Boston Red Sox, certainly said some interesting things about the Yankees this past week. Kind of caught his hand in the cookie jar, saying that his dad pitched for the Yankees. He never did. Rodon takes on him Saturday, freed Ryan on Sunday. Boy, Dobbins is fortunate George is not pitching in Yankee Stadium on Saturday. He’s also a pitcher for the Yankees and said these things right. The media would have a field day with the you said I got caught in the cookie jar there, Rodon Dobbins had his first start, one of his starts last week pitched against the Yankees. They won the game. Judge did hit a home run free against Belo tomorrow pitching matchup, saying the Yankees should have a good weekend. Guardians Mariners Tanner Bibee against TBD Sunday. Luis Ortiz, Mariners got to figure out who’s going to pitch. Figure out who’s going to pitch. Yeah, they need they need some of their injured players to come back here. But the Mariners will be fine here. Low scoring games right. We take the unders with Seattle. All right. We’ll be back with more fantasy sports today. Gray Albright from Bradenton. Their team total was 19.5 wins. I told you to go under. And it’s by far the best bet I’ve recommended on this network in four years. They can’t get out of their own way. And now Sloot is out for the year. Let’s hope Sloots gets back, because I respect the hell out of Sloot, and I want her to go out on her own terms. Now I know things could change over the next 24 hours. I get that. But everyone expected Aaron Rodgers to sign with him. He’s going to sign with Farrell. Coast to coast only on sports grid. The two guys that can do it all. Too much electricity this morning. This is a good time. We’re having a lot of fun. I had to do a triple take. Ka ching. Follow him. Up. Yeah. Oh, it was never in doubt. It was never in doubt. Oh, there’s points falling out of my eyeballs. Oh, James Johnson to the ten. Everybody gets home in game live. Only on sports grid. Back to fantasy sports today here on Sports Grid. I’m Craig Mish along with George Kurtz. We’re joined by Gray Albright of Razzball to dive into the latest in fantasy baseball. Gray, great to have you back here on Fantasy Sports today ahead of the big weekend in fantasy sports. We got another, actually, a couple rookie call ups. I don’t think that we have talked since Roman Anthony got called up earlier in the week. The Red Sox are, you know, sort of figuring out how to get that going. But this this kid Mazurowski the starter for the Brewers sort of stole the show. Five no hit innings. And gray in like tout wars and labor anl these leagues was this guy owned it all or is this a big waiver coming Sunday? I gotta I gotta tell you, Mitch, the good news is he was owned. The great news is I picked him up about a week ago. Nice. There you go. Yeah. Yeah. It’s a 12 team. Tag Wars is a 12 team NL only league. So if you pick up a guy, you have to start them too. So I, I took a week where I started on when he was in the minors. And then this week I put him on my bench and it’s a weekly league. So I didn’t have the start for him when he got called up. So that’s the bad news. But the good news is I do have them. The good guys win again. Yeah, I was you know, I was in on this guy for probably about three months now. I’ve been watching them. I actually I haven’t been a dynasty league too. His stuff is ridiculous. Like, people talk about Mason Miller’s stuff. The Sacramento A’s, soon to be Vegas A’s reliever who throws, you know, 100 plus. Mazeroski does that as a starter, which is just so unheard of. I mean, I hope his arm holds together, but the fact that he’s able to pelt in 101, 102, 103mph over the course of five innings, it’s like, wow. It’s honestly, even if you’re not a Brewers fan, you should. Anyone who hasn’t seen him pitch should tune in next time he throws, because it is really a marvel to watch him throw. All right. I’ll take the hitters here. Greg. Roman. Anthony Leone. Which one would you rather have? Would you rather have Roman Anthony on board for the rest of the season? Or, you know, let’s say you’re you’re in a world where no one claimed these guys for some reason in a league here, and you’re bidding on these guys tomorrow night, which one would you rather have? Yeah, I would probably. I’d go, Roman Anthony, you know, it’s a maybe a little bit needs based depending on like if you really need power more than a well-rounded guy like Anthony. Like Casaglione does fit the bill for just power straight. And if you need a corner, man. So, you know, I’d probably bid on both of them if I was in a league where they weren’t rostered already. I think Roman Anthony is going to be better. I think Roman Anthony is more well rounded. He’s probably 30, 32, 60 type where, you know, he he doesn’t strike out a lot. Even now being with the Red Sox for only, you know, a couple games, he’s at a 23% strikeout rate, a small sample size, but still in triple A, it was a 21% strikeout strikeout rate. He just doesn’t strike out, which is great. I mean, that’s what you want to see. He walks a ton. He’s got good speed. He’s got good power. There’s a reason why Roman Anthony was the number one prospect in baseball. He he’s going to be a star probably as soon as this year. If not. I mean, you know, things things are it’s like I’ve said this so many times, but Mike trout got called up originally and he wasn’t good his rookie year. You know, as his first call up he was good. Then his his after. But yeah I mean you never know when guys are going to click. So Roman Anthony may not click this year. I’m assuming he is I’m assuming he will. But you never know. Things are things don’t always take a linear path. But I like Roman Anthony a lot. I like him a bit more than Caglioni, but I do like Caglioni as well. I think he’s got great power. He could potentially be a 20 plus homer guy this year, and that’s in, you know, an abbreviated. What is this like maybe three and a half months left? Yeah. So great. You know, I’ve never we’ve never really had this discussion, I think either in person or here on the show. And, I mean, there’s no true explanation for why this sort of dynamic happens with a guy like Paul Skenes, who pitched very well again yesterday against the Cubs, like here in South Florida. Gray. When Sandy Alcantara won the Cy Young Award, he got like no run support over the year. But this is less than no run support. Have you ever thought about gray? Like, did the players just feel comfortable? Like they just know they don’t have to do anything that day? I mean, this guy pitches seven eight innings, gets nothing or one run. And then the Pirates the next day score six seven runs. It’s so strange. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it’s kind of like you have me on here and you’re like, oh, we know Gray’s going to talk for 15 straight minutes, so we don’t really have to say anything. It’s a similar sort of situation. I, you know I don’t know man with Paul Skenes I can’t imagine the hitters are like, yeah, it’s fine. He’s got it. I just don’t think the Pirates really have any hitting, unfortunately. I mean, they have ONeil Cruz, obviously they have Brian Reynolds, but after that it’s like, I don’t know. I, you know, Ke’bryan Hayes can only do so much. Yeah. I mean, that was really a failing of the front office in Pittsburgh and just the I don’t know, maybe the owner didn’t want to spend money, but they really should have went out and got hitting. I mean, they have one of the best pitchers that we’ve seen in probably the last decade plus. I mean, I don’t know, I guess Verlander, probably Verlander, Scherzer, Skenes. I mean, you know, Skenes looks like a future Hall of Famer. God, you know, hopefully his arm holds together. But he’s like so good. You have to build around that as long as you have it. I don’t know the ins and outs of how long a guy has, you know, before he hits the free agent market. But I’m what is it, 2029, 2030? I mean, they only have a couple of years to build around them, so I wish they would. They just don’t have any hitting. Long story short, you know, it’s like there’s nothing there. There’s nothing they can do. But how do they score eight runs today? They’re going to score ten runs today, Greg. It’s going to happen. Yeah. Yeah I guess maybe. Yeah, maybe it maybe it is. They’re just like they see Paul Skenes out there. Maybe they just don’t. Maybe they don’t like him. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. It is true though. Like I mean if he wins, it’s like those years with deGrom as a met and Sandy out, as you mentioned, like Paul Skenes like he’s going to be a Cy Young guy this year with, what, nine wins? I know. Well that’s like what I’ve been saying too with like, you know, speaking of like the Hall of Fame, you know, Verlander is not going to reach 300 wins. We’re never going to see 300 wins again from is deGrom might get what, 120 wins in his career like in his career. That is like 120. Like that’s crazy. Like guys just don’t win games anymore. I mean, I don’t know. It’s bad. They don’t they don’t throw enough innings. But yeah game has changed. Game has changed. We were younger, right? Greg, you and I were talking before the show about the New York Yankees. One player we did not talk about who could return. They say possibly tomorrow, more than likely Monday when they go back to Yankee Stadium. Giancarlo Stanton. Do we care? Yeah. I mean, it depends on the fantasy league. I think if you’re in a 15 team mixed league or deeper, I think Giancarlo is probably a guy you want to roster. I mean he does have power. I forget what it is, but I think he hit like 20 homers last year in an abbreviated year. He seems like he’s good for about a homer every three ish games. So I yeah I like Giancarlo still. I just unfortunately I don’t love how he adjusts the he changes the lineup. You know I don’t know Ben Rice is going to catch I think it’s just it’s not great I wish Ben Rice would just stay where he is. But yeah I don’t know. Great. Great stuff as always. We’ll see you next week. Thank you. Great. Just great. Summed it up I’m just going to talk for 15 minutes. We’ll be back next. Their team total was 19.5 wins. I told you to go under. And it’s by far the best bet I have recommended on this network in four years. They can’t get out of their own way. And now school is out for the year. Let’s hope Sloots gets back, because I respect the hell out of Sloot, and I want her to go out on her own terms. Hopefully we’ll have her back for the 26 season. Betting above the rim only on sports grid. I gotta be Pittsburgh’s going to the Super Bowl. I got a feeling there is no chance they’re going to the Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers. I’m just kidding. There’s still not expected to have over eight and a half wins. They’re still not expected to have a winning record. Now I know things could change over the next 24 hours I get that. But everyone expected Aaron Rodgers to sign with him. He’s going to sign with him. Farrell coast to coast only on sports grid. The two guys that can do it all. Too much electricity this morning. This is a good time. We’re having a lot of fun. I had to do a triple take. Tell him. Freddy. Freddy. J-dub. Yeah. Oh, it was never in doubt. It was never in doubt. Oh, there’s points falling out of my eyeballs on James Johnson. To the ten. Everybody gets home in game live. Only on sports grid. Buy or sell. Welcome back to Fantasy Sports. Today here on Sports Grid. We’re just having a fun time here on the show. As we get ready to wrap up this Saturday edition. Can you tell it’s the summertime here? Sports grid. All right, we got some questions to answer here. We’ll dive into Elly De la Cruz, the Colorado Rockies, Aaron Judge and a whole lot more as we play our game of buy or. Sell, buy or sell, buy or sell. I got Sam good on that one. Okay. Stolen bases wait way down this year in fantasy baseball. Way up last year. Way down this year. So right now the favorite to be the stolen base leader in baseball has got to still be Elly De la Cruz. But he ain’t going to steal 100 bases. George, buy or sell. Elly will lead the league. Is this the NL Sam or the major leagues? Major leagues in stolen bases this year. Buyers. He’s sixth. Wow. I didn’t even know that. O’Neill. He’s tied. Tied for sixth with Jose Ramirez. With Robert PC a. Robert again for you? Jeez, boy, there’s a name. I wouldn’t have thought that caballeros got 25. Okay, he could. I mean, Simpson was still on the team. O’Neill. Cruz actually in first place. He’s got 30. So. O’Neill. Cruz. Not 30. 25. No, Cruz is five more ahead of him. I mean, I think I would take the field here, right? As was I would take the field. I think he’s just not stealing as much this year for whatever reason. He’s not stealing as much. I think he can if he wants to. Doesn’t seem to want to run as much this year except for whatever reason. Maybe Cincinnati. Maybe Francona doesn’t believe in running, giving up that out. You know, we don’t want to do that great American ballpark. We want to swing for the fences here, that sort of thing here. So I’ll take the field here only because, like I said, he’s in sixth, tied for sixth, fifth, five behind Cruz, who could easily lead it himself. Or maybe it’s Caballero. I don’t think it’ll be PCA and I don’t think it’ll be a whit either. So maybe it’s Cabrera or Cruz. Lord knows Pittsburgh needs to do something, so Cruz must have to run. Yeah, I am going to buy this. I think Ellie’s going to get hot here. I really do believe in the player. He led the majors in steals last year. What would be the number with my buy here? I’m going to say Ellie wins with 64 steals this season. I’ll say he’ll be the second half leader. I’m going to buy this. I just think it’s been a tough first half for him. He’ll have a big second half and he’ll get there. And by the way, Caballero I think is the guy that he’s going to have to fight out this. This guy is a really good player for Tampa Bay okay. The Colorado Rockies finally got their walk-off. They they they swept the Marlins. I cannot believe that happened in front of my own eyes. That was horrible. And then they got another win against the Giants. That’s it. So four wins again in the last two weeks. Is this 14 wins on the season? Am I right about that with the Rockies. Is that correct? 13 14? 13, 13? No, 14 right I got the Rockies will win. 4113. They still have 13. Really. Oh oh they had 12. They had nine. They beat the Marlins three. And then that walk off okay 13. The Rockies will win 41 games or more this season. I mean isn’t is it buy or sell. I mean that means they got to win 28 more games. They got to go 28 and 65, 28, 65 to 13 to 56. Right now, they’re probably theoretically they’re going to get worse. Right. Because they should be trading whatever they can at the deadline. Maybe Ryan McMahon actually goes this year. I don’t know, I know I mean, I this is a sad I’m selling this I don’t think they’ll get there. I just Im not sure they get the 30, you know, more or less 41. And maybe they get the low 30s here. But no, this is a definite sell. I think they set the record here. This is a terrible team. They’re just they’re just awful here. So I’m going to say no, no, no. Yeah. The major issue here for me with this I want to say bye. But the major issue is that the Dodgers and the Padres and the Diamondbacks, it’s not them being good. It’s there. And the Giants, they’re all still going to be in it. There’s no gimme games for them at the end of the season. So look let’s be clear okay. Let’s say hypothetically in the first 81 games they win 617 let’s say 17 games. That’s four more in the next two weeks. And that seems like a stretch. But if they do that, I just don’t see a good second half for them to I’m going to sell I’m going to sell this too. I think it’s going to be very close. It’s a fair question from Sam, but I do think the number is going to be 38, 3. Somewhere along those lines, their only hope to hit the number that Sam just gave us is the last week of the season. Meaningless games for somebody else. That’s it. That’s the and then and still meaningful for them to just not have the worst record of all time. But I still I still think they’re going to get it. All right Aaron Judge it’s an incredible season he’s having so far. It’s one of the best first halves in baseball in a long time for anyone. He hit another home run on Friday night. 2025 will be the best season of Aaron Judge’s career. George. I mean, the year 62 drove in 131, batted 311 Ops 1.11 last year. Ops was 1.159. Drove in 144 58. I mean, boy, the way he’s going right now, the answer would have to be yes, right? I’m going to discount the future a little bit because he’s getting older, right? We’re not talking about a young Aaron Judge anymore. Sooner or later the game has to catch up to him. He’ll be 34 next year, so I don’t know if he can do much better than what he’s doing now. He might hit the home run record again. Maybe he wins the Triple Crown. It just depends on what you’re going for, you know? Is it all about ops? If it is, yeah. He’s obliterating that right now. Right. The 1.159 was last year at 1.265. Right now war is he’s destroying every category. Yeah, I’ll buy this. I’ll say yes. This will be the best year of his career. Yeah. He’s not going to hit over the 60 something that he did. I’m selling. That’s easy. Shohei Ohtani will pitch to an ERA under 3.2 this season. I mean I guess George we’re thinking 50 innings for him in the second half. Sounds about right. Yeah. Hard to tell. You haven’t seen him pitch yet right. So I don’t know. Maybe he does. He looked good in that one outing that we saw the video. The ball was moving all over the place. I’ll buy. I honestly have no idea here. And as you said it, 50 innings sounds about right. Yeah. I mean that’s I hate to agree with George here, but I’m probably a buy too. It’s very, very close here for me on Ohtani. But I’m not going to innings. We’ll see him in the playoffs that’s for sure. All right. Coming up next you’ll see me and George for about five more minutes. And then we got to get out of here on this edition of Fantasy Sports today. But we’ll be right back as we wrap it up with some show Jose Ramirez stats next. Their team totals 19.5 wins. I told you to go under. And it’s by far the best bet I have recommended on this network in four years. They can’t get out of their own way. And now Sloot is out for the year. Let’s hope Sloot gets back because I respect the hell out of Sloot, and I want her to go out on her own terms. Hopefully we’ll have her back for the 2016 season. Betting above the rim only on sports Grid. But everyone expected Aaron Rodgers to sign with him. He’s going to sign with him. Farrell coast to coast only on sports grid. The two guys that can do it all. Too much electricity this morning. This is a good time. We’re having a lot of fun. I had to do a triple take. Foul him rough. Oh, J-dub. Yeah. Oh! It was never in doubt. It was never in doubt. Oh, there’s point falling out of my eyeballs. Oh, James Johnson to the tin. Everybody gets home in game live only on sports grid. All these years, still probably the most underrated player. Reality fantasy. It continues until somebody tells me different. I mean, there are some that say Jose Ramirez is not underrated. He does get the credit. He makes every all star game. He’s in the top MVP voting every year. But George. I mean, this this guy is as reliable as they come. It’s really incredible that that Jose Ramirez plays in Cleveland. Doesn’t get talked about almost at all. He’s in the top five consistently in every fantasy draft going on 8 or 9 years. He’s had like one bad first half in the last decade. But he’s he’s incredible. I mean, look at the things that he’s accomplished. He leads all players in hits, doubles, home runs, runs scored, RBI and stolen bases through 65 games. And it’s the third time in his career no player has done that in the live ball era since 1920. He’s definitely underrated. I can’t see how he’s not, you know, you even you and I, we talked about, you know, rankings back in March here. Judge or Ohtani at one two we mentioned you know and Ramirez is an afterthought just an afterthought. He he does it the same thing year after year after year. Yeah he plays on a team where there’s not much else there. Right. Which by the way, even makes these numbers more amazing because you pitch to anyone but Ramirez. Right? Let anyone else on Cleveland beat you, but not Ramirez. Yeah, but he still puts up these numbers here. But he puts on Cleveland. He’s just a he doesn’t look great. Right? Doesn’t doesn’t have the body. You know he’s not a you know a God like God judge six 7 to 80 and built like a tank or, you know, looks like this doesn’t look doesn’t look like a great baseball player yet he is. So yeah, in my mind he is underrated. You’re going to be a hard time convincing me otherwise that he’s not the most underrated player in baseball. Jorge, let’s wrap up the show here as we get ready for a big Father’s Day Sunday. Time now for the Sports Grid 60. Last timime you watched the Yankee game, you saw the Aaron Boone get thrown out of the of the game. He was married with a couple of instant replay calls that went against the Yankees. Now I’m an instant replay guy. I like to get the calls right. Yeah. Do I think it’s a little silly where you, spike comes off the base by a millimeter and you’re called out? Sure. But technically it’s still, you know, you’re off the base, you’re out. You know, such as, like. Yeah, but I’m an instant replay guy, so I do like the idea replay. I do like the idea of getting the calls right here. And I’m not complaining about the calls against the Yankees last night. It is what it is here. But my thing is, when it comes to replay, if you can’t in a minute figure it out, let’s let’s go. The call on the field stands right. It’s just that simple. If it takes two, three, four minutes, then we’re getting a little ridiculous. All right? I don’t need NASA coming down here and thinking with the telescope to see if he’s ou, safe or indifferent. Here. You got a minute? If you can’t figure it out, then let the call on the field stand. Let’s go. Let’s move on here. Both calls last night. They could have gone either way both times, but they both took forever. It’s like, let’s go. You know, one was. One was in the Yankees favor. One was not the Yankees favorite. Let’s go. Let’s move on here. So I said I like replay. Just don’t like the fact that it takes so long at times. You got a minute? Figure it out. You can’t figure it out by then. Let’s go. Call on the field stands. I gave my Mother’s Day speech last month. Let me give my Father’s Day speech this month. So last month here on the show, I reminded everybody that Mother’s Day is here. And to make sure you get your card, you get your gift, whatever that is, and make sure you either visit your mom or you call your mom. Now, I, of course, will celebrate Father’s Day myself because I am a father. The greatest gift that’s ever been given to me with my two kids. It’s, you know, certainly a fantastic holiday every year for us. But I would also remind you out there, for those of you who are watching, debating, should I make the call? Should I make the visit? I don’t know, yeah. I mean, you only get a chance to do this so many times. Make sure that you wish your dad or your father a very happy Father’s Day here on this Father’s Day Sunday. And by the way, to all of you watching a very happy Father’s Day, and also to George, you and all of our dads here at Sports Grid as well. I hope you enjoy the weekend. What a great way it will be. To cap it off, George, with some hockey, some baseball, some basketball and US open on Sunday. So George, I hope you have a great Father’s Day on Sunday. Oh Greg, thank you very much. I wish that to you as well. And to everybody out there who’s a dad. Have a great day with your family. Their little barbecue, little baseball sports. It’s hopefully it’s a great day once again. Happy Father’s Day. Happy Father’s Day weekend to everyone. Thanks so much for watching the show today. Thanks to Greg Albright for coming on the program today. Coming up at 10:00 eastern, we got Betting Above the Rim with Kevin Walsh, James Young and Tom Vecchio. Series tied at two in the NBA finals, followed by in game Live Joe Ranieri and Matt Perrault in game live, game day with Scott Wetzel and Joe Madden, and then game day again tonight. Adam Kaufman and the crew will be in as well. Thanks again to our producer Sam, a great job here on the show. As always. We will see you back here next Saturday and maybe Sunday, depending on when you’re watching for our next edition of Fantasy Sports today. And also see you on Monday for our next edition of Newswire. Happy Father’s Day to all. We’ll see you next week. Dialing it back to his old days with Saint Louis and Arizona. Buy or sell Goldie will finish top seven in fantasy first baseman. No, I’m going to say no player here. He’ll be top ten, but not top seven here. Top ten I would say I buy a top seven. I’m going to say no here. I think he’ll put up decent numbers here. Not as good as he was. He’s I think he’s at about 340, 350 all year long. Fantasy sports today only on sports grid. I’m with you in that you’re going to have to take calculated risks. And that’s what Leon Rose has been about since he’s been here. And he’s been measured. He hasn’t been gung ho in terms of mortgaging this franchise’s future for immediate gains. They have had a prudent approach, and you have to roll the dice in certain respects to get to that top level. And you’re right, Donny, when you look at next season, all things considered, you hope that they’re healthy. And if they roll over, say, 85 to 90% of this roster. This is a top three team in the East with Boston coming down. You know Milwaukee is going to come down. And so you have to figure it’s going to be Indiana the Knicks the Cleveland Cavaliers in some sort of order in the preseason rankings. And so where do they go from here. Jason Kidd is obviously the hot name right now. Things are the both sides are interested from what we’ve heard in terms of Kidd and the New York Knicks, is he that championship caliber coach to take the Knicks there the early line only on sports grid. Every five days. It’s really exciting when Skenes pitch and it’s terrible watching him pitch because every time he pitches, they don’t score. Having him hit the lineup probably would actually help. When he pitches. There’s no way to do it because you can’t. But yeah, it’s beyond frustrating. And the numbers would tell you, you know the books have adjusted. Farrell coast to coast
