we’re going to start in our ready position and we’re going to start by just making a 90° turn with your body we’re not going to move our paddle at all so we’re not doing anything like that we’re just going to take our whole body we usually refer to this as a unit turn I’m turning the whole thing without moving my feet so you’ll notice when I do this that my paddle is kind of pointed that way it’s pointed out to the side I haven’t put it behind my hand it’s just here step three we’re going to start to pull the elbow forward when the elbow starts to come forward the paddle is going to take back so we’re going to start going elbow forward paddle tips back and at the same time we’re going to start rotating our body and turning that direction rotate and turn after you feel comfortable with that next you can go into some drop beads where we’re just going to drop the ball swing and hit it and way the ball’s not moving it’s just in that kind of same spot and then after that you can go to some live ball hits and try to put it all together

I freaking LOVE your videos! At my local Lifetime gym, I am known as the dinking master and some people hate playing with me because they don’t want to play that “short $h!t” game!!! Hahaha! Some of them now are realizing that to try to win a point with a drive doesn’t work it the players are good!!!! That dropping the ball, building a point and forcing an error gives my team a clear PUT-AWAY!!!!
And THAT is how you win in pickleball!!!!!!!!!!!
I tell everyone about your channel!!!!! Especially the dinking footwork drill you have! Lunging and shuffling at the kitchen instead of walking around in circles!🤪
I see know "elbow" forward & what's the point of showing the stroke if you're going to edit out the stroke between tossing ball to after hitting…
What is lag in pickleball?
Nice. Thanks.
Can you answer which paddle has a bigger sweet spot the power air or the new 007
Great vid. Do you have to turn your feet ? Often people say you must put feet to side ? You have an "open" stance facing the net
I have seen the forehand described several different ways by you tubers. This one made the most sense. What clicked for me was the unit turn without swinging your arm. In fact, there isn’t a lot of arm to this shot at all. It’s mainly body rotation. That is money. Tried a few shadow “swings.” Can’t wait to try it live. Thanks.
Another day, another great pickleball game! 🏅 #ChasingPerfection
