Baltimore on a Saturday afternoon and the Orioles are at third of a series win here in the middle of June. The Orioles search for a win against Tyler anderson, a two time all star pretty tough lefty orange out Saturday, the all orange uniforms, the Orioles brought back this year and they look good on to Yuki Sano. Pretty much everything looked good on him this year. Rob a 323 a, he’s been one of the best rookie pitchers in the majors. Zack Netto is one of the guys he’s going to have to control, he is electric at the plate and so good leading off the game, another walk at two games in a row for leadoff walks for. How about it, Mike Trout right here to see if he can turn one around and get the offense going to get himself going as far as the power switch Trout, he launches one to left if it stays fair, it’s gone down the line. It is off the foul pole. A home run for mike Trout. That ball got out so quickly. He didn’t have time to pull foul off the back on four and two that went way out for Trout doing some damage. His 15th career home run in this yard, Angels are out to a 20 lead Taylor Ward who had the day off yesterday. Taylor with a line drive to center field dropping and Mullins won’t get there. It’s a base hit Logan who had a base hit in the game yesterday was just his second in the month of June and Sano strikes him out with a two seamer that caught more of the middle of the plate than he would have liked. But to your point be Rob, where do these Angels strike out a lot? They do, they strike out a ton most in major league baseball. And you see right here. Oh ho he tries to get on top of the fastball. It’s only 91 miles an hour. But what they have to respect is that split in the back of their head, joe Ad he had two more hits yesterday and look at that ops now, 773 for Adell on the year one to the right side and that’s a base hit the other way. Ward’s on his way to third base Orano with a strong arm unleashes it but Ward gets in and the Angels have been on the corners. Wade seventh batter of the inning bouncing ball over the mound. Henderson plays the True and throws him out and gets Wade ending the inning but Trout hits the two run homer. And it’s another challenging first for Tomos. Tyler anderson has been staked to an early lead. He’s on the mound here in the bottom of the first. So important to him to get back to that good feel for his secondary pitch, especially that changeup. My go to for Tyler anderson and Jackson Holiday will lead things off for the Orioles and Jackson Holiday first pitch attack right on cue into the right field corner. You’re going to get a first pitch fastball. Often in this game, the Orioles have to be ready for it and nobody in this lineup has been more ready for the first pitch this year than Jackson Jordan Westbrook bats with the infield mostly back West left side that’s grabbed at third by redo who throws in time. It does bring in a run as the Orioles have two productive outs here in the first inning and RB I for West scores Holiday R down to third and the Birds are on the board at 2 to 1. So now two away 1st and 2nd for the Angels. Joe Adella batter 13 home runs three one to third and West Lung into it. Well, there’s some good fortune stepping off near the line up back on the liner from Adele down to third base handled by Westberg that Robs at least two runs from the Angels as we handles the hot smash two away. Nobody aboard Bradley Richman hard ground ball. Netto gets to it and couldn’t get it from his glove to his hand in time ends up on his rear end on the dirt. A smash ground ball is a base hit for that one kicks away. Adley reads the ball in the dirt very well. He runs in the face of Ope and takes second on. Gunner who’s riding a seven game hit streak extended it last night going one for four and Henderson skewers one into right for a base hit but Britain will wave around Rutman Wade’s throw gets a wild pitch that bounced off the umpire James Jean and gets to second and on the very next pitch, it’s another left on left RB I for Gunter Henderson in, we are tied, gutter’s on the run way up the line by Ope on a high throw. Well, you look at the numbers for Logan O’hoppe. He’s caught just three of 20 nine. He creates very poorly as a blocking catcher Westbrook to right field. That’s down for a hit. They’re gonna run. Here comes Henderson, he’s safe run until they catch you make them stop you. The Orioles are blazing up the base paths here and they take their first lead. Well, look, there’s a couple of things going on here. We’re seeing some great baserunning but maybe what we’re forgetting the fact that one of the things the Orioles struggled with so much was runner in scoring position hitting and especially with two outs and that is two hits right there, had one go off the bat. Sean Owe has one goal just off the knee and it means Mike Trout bats with a couple of base runners, fastball throws it 94 ran right back to the inside corner and I think Trout saw the two seam action on it. Thought that ball was gonna run in off the plate, but it’s a run up for fair on the third base line past Westberg around third netto scores shot gets to third and Taylor Ward three for three today ties the game with an RB I double the road warrior. Those numbers on the road are unreal for Taylor Keegan. A back out there out there a lot recently looks in and sees the right handed batting switch hitter, luis Rengifo to lead it off the fly ball hit pretty well deep to the right field corner. It’s deep and it’s gone. Let’s talk about the place on. Raif finds some room inside the foul pole and right, just his second home run of the year and the Angels have the lead. You look over the last couple of seasons that power from has been from the right side and he goes the other way for a go ahead home run. Ramon Loo 269 hitter, 331 on base looking 529. He’s got eight homers in the dirt. Cedric Mullins has a soft single and a fly out first pitch swinging said Jax one to deep center back down on a day where the Orioles had to be ready for first pitches. They have been ready. Mullins gets a rare left on left change up and when it lands, theos are back in front, that’ll move the count to three balls and two strikes on Gary Sanchez. 00 sanchez on a 32. Gary Sanchez, his first home run as an Oriole a glorious return to the majors as the Kraken finally strikes in Birdland blasts for a 6 to 4 Baltimore lead the Orioles lead the Angels 64. They turn to Andrew Kittridge to face 78 and nine in the eight. It was his first home run since April the fifth in. What has been a tough year for Luis? That ball is hit in the air right center field and this one’s gonna go. Luis Rao has homered from both sides of the plate done that before that ball was crushed. Mentioned that home run maybe gets him going. Well. He’s got it going. Now coming into the game one home run on the season two today , that was 100 and 7.7 off the bat one. Oh, there goes Neto half swing and a Miss R’s throw. He’s out perfectly located and gutter slapped on the tags out and the Orioles are out of the inning. They’ll turn to Felix bautista looking for a six straight scoreless appearance out of the bullpen and here’s logo O hai, another great power hitter three and two. Well end it back to back games with a save for Bautista. And the Orioles survive a white knuckler, a 65 win for a series victory and they eye up a sweep tomorrow afternoon.

Stupid Ron Washington infield should've been in the first inning Rengifo could've got him out at home plate
Stupid Ron Washington doesn't know when to change pitchers
Stupid Ron Washington why make Neto steal when there is a rally and Nolan is at the plate
how O's become A last year
Looks like prison ball ~ lol
Let’s Go O’s!
Why do the Angels always struggle against teams that are not doing well?? Why, Angels?!
Why do the Angels always struggle against teams that are not doing well?? Why, Angels?!
Not a fan of specifically either team; still a fun watch. I like when they're close! 🤏🏼
The freaking umpire stole that game from Sagano
😢😢😢😢
Angels got to play CT more he is just starting to get hot because Wade is not it rn
White knuckler- I liked that. Let's go, O's!
Angels lost again. A's won! 😂
I don't follow the Angels much, but a catcher who only gets 10% of base stealers and who rates poorly at blocking pitches is not Major League. He allowed two runners to get into scoring position in the bottom of the 3rd with 2 outs, and both later scored. No wonder the team is under .500.
I liked Lamont Wade in SF and think he should be given a chance to fix his hitting in a new setting, but he is a 1st baseman, not an outfielder, so Baltimore took advantage of that, too. Washington needs to make some lineup changes imo.
Adleys throw out of Neto was no doubt one of the cleanest of the season
No. 9 for the Angel's pant's look stupid!
Incredibly lucky.
The Angels play small ball terribly. We don't advance runners, usually get caught stealing, and strikeout more than any other team. We have excellent groundball defense but never get outfield assists or catch runners stealing. I'm not typically a negative commenter but Washington has got to go, too many games lost on poor coaching calls and using struggling players in big moments. He was quoted in the spring saying last season was very successful in his books. I don't like that mentality when we had a losing record and weren't close to the playoffs. We have a lot of talent which has kept us somewhat relevant so far, but we struggle with the basics which has to be blamed on the coaching. Ron Washington or at least a lot of the staff have got to go.
O'Hoppe may be a decent bat, but he shouldn't be behins the dish at the big league level.. what a horrow show.
They’re not going to get rid of Hoppe even though he’s literally costing the Angels games. He HAS to go
Good baseball, good atmosphere. Is it too late?
Let's go O's
Westburg is key to the Orioles success on offense he actually hits well with RISP
anytime halos get the big mo going suddenly there's a power outage other than trouty. there bats need to be more consistent if they plan to make a stand in the postseason
O's looking better
Angels need to sell at the deadline
Also, they’re the worst in the league at leaving men on base and striking out. You’ll never win games that way.
